Saturday exclusive-Time Machine

The Nach for Life theme for the week is Time machine where the teams could go into the past or ahead into the future. The judges had to decide Karnvir's fate. They had decided that to be fair to the other couples, since they had not danced, they would have to eliminate Karnvir and Teejay.

This time the decision of who would perform first is done through a staring competition. Vineet and Amit had to look into each others eyes without blinking.

Shava Shava performed first and did a retro act to Bol Baby Bol. Once again the judges were extremely disappointed and Farah lost her cool completely. She said she is tired of the excuses and just wanted to see good dancing. There is no meaning to dancing for life if the jodis were not giving their best. Arjun and Karisma too agreed and said once again they were not taking these things seriously.

Balle Balle did a futuristic dance to Krazzy 4 where Mohit and Shaleen performed. Farah said they were slightly better than Shava Shava.

The judges announced that since Karnvir and Teejay were already eliminated, only one more couple would be eliminated today. Once again the bottom few proved to be shocker with Moulli Mazher and Abhijeet Shilpa in the lot.

Since two Jodis are going to be eliminated, who do you think got eliminated justifying your answer.

Mouli: TV stars are ignored!

TV actors get "step-motherly treatment" from Bollywood, complains Mouli Ganguly.


The star of Kahin Kissi Roz acted also in Rituparno Ghosh's Raincoat but says that her performance didn't count for much because "it's not easy for TV actors to enter the film industry."
"If you're OK with the roles of sisters, aunts and such, then being on TV might help," Mouli said, "But it's not the same if you want to play a key role."

Mouli will be seen playing a role, presumably neither aunt nor sister, in the short film 68 pages. The movie is a telling of the stories of five HIV positive individuals. She will also be seen in the Bollywood movie, It's a Man's World, out next year.

Famous for playing Shaina Sikand in the Ekta Serial Kahin Kissi Roz, she has also acted in Sarrkar and Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam and Saakshi.

While she has a problem with the way Bollywood treats TV stars, she has no problem with TV work and feels that once the audience starts associating an actor with a character, it pays off in the long run.

"I feel this is a positive thing to some extent since that way people start recognizing you. It gives identity to an actor," she said.

"However, one should know when to move out of that image. Its important to keep reinventing yourself and that'll only happen when you don't let yourself get typecast in one kind of roles for a long time," she added.

Mouli was completely out of the radar for one year, when she returned with "Aathva Vachan" on Sony entertainment television. She is a part of the fourth season of celebrity reality dance show "Nach Baliye", where she has participated with her beau Mazher.

In "Aathva Vachan", a show about the bond between two sisters - one of whom is mentally unstable, Mouli plays the elder sister. She is being appreciated for her role.

"I accepted the show since I had already taken a year's break. Also, the role was short and sweet. I liked my character especially the bond between the two sisters. If I was the audience, I would love to see a show like this," Mouli said.

Besides, Mouli is also enjoying her stint on "Nach Baliye 4", which is her first reality show. She and her partner Mazher are receiving rave reviews from the judges for their performances.

"It's something very new. What excites me is that on the same show I get to wear so many moods, looks and attitudes. I can't do that in my soaps," Mouli said.

Offstage drama on Nach Baliye
Wonder what the drama is? All the while the viewers have seen the jodis perform on stage and entertain the audience with their various dance forms and avatars. But now they will also see the exciting off stage drama and action during the journey so far. The Reality episodes of Nach Baliye 4 will make the audience witness all the fun, laughter, happenings, tension in the rehearsal halls, the nok jhok with their choreographers and all that toil that goes behind the scenes. The viewers have seen the harsh comments of the judges but what they have not seen is the real hungama that goes behind the scenes. And that is what is shown in the Friday and Saturday episodes, November 14 and 15 from7 pm to 10 pm on Star Plus.

Two new entries in Nach Baliye?

After two evictions last week, coming episodes of Nach Baliye might have two special entries, sources said.

Juhi Parmar–Sachin Shroff and Panchi Bohra-Shabbir Ahluwalia were the couples being spoken to, it is learnt.
Panchi demurred, by saying that she and Shabbir did not fit the bill: "For participating in Nach Baliye, couples need to date each other, which we are not. Shabbir and I have good chemistry on-screen, but we are not a couple. He is good co-star and a friend but we are not in a relationship."

Panchi said however that this did not preclude participation in the show. "I am open for a special performance or something like that, as we both are professionals."


"Nobody from the Nach team has contacted me," she added.

Did she follow the show?

"This year I could not get a chance to watch it because of my shooting schedule, but I have heard that my friend Sanjeeda is doing a good job. I am also excited to see Reshmii's performance. She is my friend and I want see her talent."
Juhi and Sachin also said that they were not doing the show, citing problems with time.

Sources however insisted that two couples would enter shortly. "We're going to shoot the episode this week, after last week's strike," the source said, "we are working on Juhi-Sachin and Panchi-Shabbir and we should have names in a couple of days."

Last week, Tanushree-Vineet Raina and Karan Vir Bohra–Teejay Sidhu were eliminated from the show.

Sudeep hurt while rehearsing

Hey frnds,

Sudeep Sahir, Jodi no. 7, was hurt while rehearsing for the Nach For Life act on Tuesday(11/11/08).
Sudeep and Mohit both were performing a stunt, that's when he fell on his neck and injured himself. He's done a scan and is waiting for the reports. For now he can't move his neck since its sprained.
