Karnvir Bohra and Teejay Sidhu were ousted from Nach Baliye 4 last week, as they did not perform owing to Karnvir's bad knee, which he twisted when he had a fall.

“Karnvir has been told by doctors not to give his knee any kind of jerk, even if it is a light dance step. He has been advised regular physiotherapy for four weeks; hence we requested the judges to give us time, but that could not happen as the format did not allow that. Ultimately we had to quit the show”, says Teejay.

“Anyways his health is of high priority. We did not want to risk his knee, as that might have led to severe complications. As of now, the doctor has said he can get well without a surgery. So hoping for that!! But it is really unfortunate that we had to go out of Nach in this manner. When we accepted this offer, we thought we would do really well as we are decent dancers. In fact, Farah had complimented Karnvir with the tag of 'Best Male Dancer' this year”, she adds.

Talking about a probable comeback thro' wild card later, she quips, “I think there will be a wild card round for the eliminated contestants somewhere in mid-December, and we hope to give it a final try then, provided things go well with Karnvir”.

Well, as for now, we wish Karnvir a speedy recovery..
