Well...Shankar is much better then shaan when it comes to singing but Shaan has better singers than Shanskar so if the singers go one on one then probably Shankars team will loose. Shankars semifinal with shaan happened happened right next day after the he had to compete with sherya so probably there wasnt enough time for them to prepare. Maybe thats why he came in twice. Its not like he sings twice all the time. against shreya i dont think he sang at all except the medley.
about the presence of mind. Shankar is the captain so he has to say positive things about the team and the performance. He doesnt want the team and the singers to get too upset. Although I dont like rahul singing that much but the the way he improvised was impressive. Shankar just said that. Along with the mistake just keep in mind the improvisation also. judging the singing and forgetting the lyrics is the judges job not his. I really think it was not needed to make such a fuss about it.

I too agree with u people

Shaan had valid reasons to get angry but his behavior as a judge is not justified...

Life is not just about the end goal but also about the journey... Shankar appears to have forgotten that....

I haven't watched the show as yet and I dont want to get into slamming people or calling them names but I think Shaan has a valid point. SHAAN should respect MAHAJUDGE, HR and SHANKAR.

award winner singer and music director, national/international performer, king of musical chartbusters, most talented and highest paid judge of the show is HR and disrespecting HR is where SHAAN got very low.


SHAAN is a gerat singer but he did not have to act stupid and desparate and show his anger on national tv like that. that was a too much of SHAAN.

Sorry for posting so late on this hot topic. My view is that Shaan though was rightfully upset, his behavior should not be condoned. As for Shankar singing twice, its a fact that in a competition the ego comes into play and normal people do try to win by doing all they can. Nothing wrong in that i suppose unless you are going against the rules. Given the lack of talent in Shankar's team they would have lost badly had it not been for him. About Neeti's episode i would say that everybody should have a right to express their opinion minus the unnecessary rowdiness and then just get on with it. The ugly incident just did not reflect well on all involved. Hopefully it was a one-off incident. I love Shreya, Shaan & Shankar.

I agree with you. I did reply on one of the post about same thing. This show is about singers and not Captains. Captains should guide them not sing for the team and get 10 from public even if they dont earn it and NOT only that delete good marks of other team's singer given by other captains.
