Mayank is surely a partially similar, modern version of Darcy. He is not entirely Darcy, but in some aspects he is similar to Darcy. That surely explains his friend list.......
I appreciate Mayank for being independent. He has friends, but he is not yet dependent upon them and its a very good skill to trust people by judging them very carefully. This is one tough nut whose pride, or maybe arrogance and off course reserveness is so well justified and logical.
