I absolutely adore Maryada.

OMG. This is so awesome. I log back in for a few minutes, and this greets me.

you are the reason so many people watch maryada and you are absolutely awesome...quite a sticky subject and you are doing justice to it...the chemistry between gaurav and vidya is way more than the role, and being portrayed between karan and gaurav..., but you are doing an awesome job...:) find vidya that guy in the restaurant when she came to win you over in black saree...anyone but cheenue please and hope someone tells the cvs that...PLEASE NOT CHEENU!wishing you the best in your personal life and hope the rumours about you being emo and hurting yourself to win your live are not true...life is full of tribulations...and noone is worth more than yourself, your self esteem and hope this person is worthy of your love...:

Love your work...great acting. I have said this before here and I will say it again...I find it commendable that you took up the role of a homosexual character in an industry that tends to pigeon-hole actors. Indian telly needs to go beyond the tried and tested and this story plot for Gaurav is one step in the right direction.

The show itself goes through peaks and valleys...but on average, it's terrific. Some areas that have bothered me:

1. Chinu/Vidya...why did it have to be Chinu? In a story with so many layers and complications, did the guy for Vidya have to be from within the family? Also...is finding a guy the only way for Vidya to find happiness? Rather typical is that not? For a story that was to be about the four women working together...it would have been more interesting to see Vidya stand up for herself and the other women supporting her. I just wish the writers had looked at other ways to evolve the plot. The Chinu/Vidya plot is not very interesting for me.

2. Uttara: I have been a great admirer of the writing in this show. I especially loved Uttara's character. The person who was presented in the first 8 months of the show is not consistent with the way this character is being shown now...chasing after Brahma etc. That has been disappointing. A woman who is as close to her sister as Uttara was shown being with Devyani would not do this.

3. Roshni Devi: Love RD's character...most entertaining to watch. Would be good to see a back story to the history behind why she hates Brahma so much. Before she was introduced, Brahma had been shown talking to a mystery woman on the phone for months...who was that? I assume it was RD. It would be nice to see loose ends being tied up.

4. Mr. Pradhan: It is weird to have Mr. Pradhan missing for this long. Granted there could be a million things going behind the scenes (lack of actor availability etc.) but he is not even mentioned anymore. With so much happening in Priya and Chinu's lives and given how close they were, his character should be in the story.

Anyway...glad to see your here.

Hi Dakssh, I'm a Canadian punjabi guy and I do not like watching serials. However this serial is the most bold, real and brilliantly written show I have ever seen. You're character is the most interesting character in the show. You are an inspiration to many people in the world for playing such a complex role. Your acting is flawless and you portray the perfect amount of emotion in all of your scenes!

P.S Chinu's character is perfect for Vidya, he's young, naive and innocent much like Vidya and I enjoy that, I'm glad they didn't bring some stereotypical, bland guy. 😊
