But I have liked the other responses because it made me realize that Madhu needs to stay and fight for her marriage.

Yes down the road, heck maybe even in a few days, I will want Madhu to walk out BUT for now, I am seeing how much strength it takes to stay. And so, Madhu is not coming across to me as weak anymore.

Let's see what happens next!

So for u now if Madhu stays with a husband who cant stand him right now, she will be strong.

well, for me i cant stand women crying. if she is strong she shud do something which she is not doing. for me she is the weakest person. i cannot see that invisible strengths people talking here.

Marriage is a huge commitment and you have to fight for it.

and really I am so looking forward to the negativity going away and getting a positive turn in the story.

Next story line should show RK fighting for the marriage, and letting his ego go.

THANK FOR UNDERSTANDIN MY VIEWS.
YOU KNOW WHY TODAYS FAMILY LIFE IS TOO SMALL TODAY MARRIAGE NEXT DAY DIVORCE JUST BCZ OF ONLY ONLY BIG FAT EGOS CLASH.BUT IN OLDER DAYS WOMEN KNOWS VERY WELL HOW TO HANDLE SUCH SITUATION LIKE SHOWN IN SERIAL N MADHU HANDLING IT SO WELL THATS HER RELATION IS CONTINUING TILL NOW

In fact most bad relationships continue because of the fear of this pain- the pain of loss. It is very easy to say dump him/her but very tough to do if you actually love. While their is life there is hope.

And then a lonely life is not a very attractive option - a life without the person you love. That is why it is said that love can be your greatest strength as well as greatest weakness.

And in this case Madhu can see that RK still loves her. He is acting like a jerk because he is frustrated. He has literally become unhinged. What he needs is a lot of support and care like a small child. And MB did err in the intial stages by not understanding her husband and letting the problem aggravate. She now needs to pull up her socks and get him out of hole he is digging himself in.

This is also part of love - don't let the person you love harm even himself/herself - even at the cost of your self respect at times.

Ria is just a shoulder for him to cry on, an excuse to massage his ego. She is his pally in his path of deliberate self destruction. MB is trying to stop him from going down that path.

He was dancing with Ria in that cheap bar but could not tolerate the idea of MB being there for even a second. Think Why? Even MB knew this that is why sat in front of him in the bar.

This is his real sub conscious opinion of Ria. His shouting my freind is just an excuse to hide his follies - like a typical male.

Very well said, agree with you, its very easy to say break the relation but its something which is never let us live in peace.

Like me, I think other viewers are finding this story line difficult because Madhu has had to swallow her self respect and take abuse from practically every one including her husband.

Viewers want to see a strong female character. And they think this Madhu is weak. They want Sherni Madhu. But now I can see how much strength it takes a woman to stay and fight.

we all have our views Meenji22. sometimes the 'old' ways are still best. Some of my views are also considered "old' thinking but I do not care. We should not lose sight of the important things in life.

I also think this will eventually happen as RK needs to open his eyes!

Its not only about the other woman. Even all the other things that RK is subjecting her to is not right at all.Using your spouse as a punching bag to vent out your frustrations is ok to an extent but the extreme that they have shown in this serial , in real life no self respecting woman should take it after a point. Absolutely nothing warrants the constant public humiliation that Madhu undergoes. Walking out on a marriage is not at all easy and I have no issues with Madhu trying to salvage the relationship. What puts me off is she not standing up for herself. He humiliates her, verbally lashes out...she cries...he apologizes...she forgives and everything is fine.

I strongly believe in the institution of marriage but a marriage cannot thrive on only one person taking efforts to make it work. And it certainly should not come at the expense of one's self respect. But this is a show and things are shown for the sake of drama. RK 's character gets away with things which a man in the real world should not get away with. However the CVs do need to be mindful of curbing their penchant for extremes and stop making grand statements about addressing social issues because this show is doing anything but that 😆

Great post 👍🏼

FANTASTIC post 👏

To me its a question of valuing the institution of marriage and for that mutual trust, faith and respect are mandatory, the reason I didn't mention love is because I'm certain there is no dearth of it from either Madhu or RK for each other...but love isn't enough.I've said this before, love can forge a relationship but trust carries it forward.

Between RK & Madhu, the one who has relentlessly tried to uphold the sanctity of marriage is the latter one...from trying to be a honest life partner to his biggest support in times of need.I realise that she she has taken certain decisions that have proved detrimental to RK's career...but the harm done was unintentional.I've read posts where people have been talking about her ambiguous stance with regards to her BW aspirations but why is it that she always has to be clear about her intentions, has to assauge RK's wounded ego and suffer humiliation for his shortcomings...why can't RK be considerate for once, why can't he be happy for his wife's success??RK's shortcomings are well accepted but Madhu's lack of 'understanding' is not??If so then why?Because RK is an 'anti-hero'!!

Right now Madhu is 'trying' to save her marriage because its painful to break a bond as deep as the one RM share but when will it be considered enough from her behalf before she is allowed to walk away from this marriage? The responsibility lies with both not one,so if one half of this relationship can conveniently forget his boundaries then the other can only do so much to remind him of it.I for one (and as a married woman) want Madhu to walk away and show us that she's only human...and if its an error then she's allowed to make one and expect forgiveness in return, just like she has forgiven the other for his unpardonable ones.
