Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira urges Armaan to begin a new life with Geetanjali and Maira away from her

In tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kesari continues to harass Abhira. She kicks a bucket and warns Abhira that if it were her instead of the bucket, she would have beaten her badly. Abhira ignores Kesari, picks up the bucket, and starts to leave, but Kesari blocks her path, trying to make her fall.

At that moment, Jalebi steps in to protect Abhira. Kesari is taken aback when she sees Jalebi, who pushes her away firmly and glares at her. Kesari falls at Jalebi's feet, pleading for forgiveness. Without saying a word, Jalebi snaps her fingers, signalling Kesari to get up, and then walks away, instructing everyone to return to work.

Jalebi Bai Enters Abhira's life:

Abhira approaches Jaya and comments on Jalebi's presence, noting that Kesari seemed completely terrified and that Jalebi must hold a lot of authority in the jail. Jaya corrects her, explaining that it is not Jalebi who holds power, but rather the jail works because of her. For Jalebi, the greatest value is humanity, and she never lets anyone be treated wrongly.

Maira Confronts Geetanjali

Meanwhile, Maira is in a rage, throwing things around her room. Geetanjali tries to calm her, but Maira questions her about marrying Armaan. Geetanjali confirms the marriage and points out that Maira had wished for it herself. Maira admits that she didn't know about Abhira at that time and feels that Armaan should have married Abhira, not Geetanjali.

Geetanjali attempts to hold Maira back, but Maira angrily pushes her hand away, insisting that she doesn't want to listen to her but wants to confront Armaan about his marriage. Kaveri steps in to console Maira and guides her away. Geetanjali breaks down from the emotional moment, and Vidya comforts her while Geetanjali hugs her in return.

Jalebi Reveals Abhira’s Past

Jaya encourages Abhira to eat, but she refuses, saying she isn't hungry. A pregnant inmate advises her to eat so that she can endure Kesari's torment. Abhira gives her food to the pregnant woman. As she prepares to eat the other roti, Kesari snatches it from her. Jalebi steps in and shares her own roti with Abhira. Abhira thanks her but insists she doesn't need anyone's pity and starts to leave.

At that moment, Jalebi reveals that she knows Abhira's past, which shocks her. She explains that she knows everything about everyone in the jail. When Abhira questions why she is being kind, Jalebi says that she needs her help and hints that when Abhira's pride fades, she will understand. She suggests that they could support each other. Just then, Abhira learns that Armaan has come to see her.

Emotional Meeting with Armaan

During their meeting, Armaan initially turns away out of emotion. Abhira urges him to face her, insisting that avoiding her won't change the truth. He finally looks at her, and they begin talking.

Armaan asks if she has eaten, and Abhira brings up Maira and her school. Armaan tells her that Maira had faced bullying at school and now knows that Abhira is in jail. He apologises for breaking both their trust and admits he feels lost, not knowing how to handle the situation.

Thinking of the women who spend years in jail, Abhira worries about Maira's safety and asks Armaan to take her away from the city. She also advises him to take Geetanjali with them so they can start their own lives separately.

Armaan refuses, but Abhira pleads again, asking him to ensure Maira's life isn't made difficult and to keep the location a secret from her. Armaan still insists that Maira should not be separated from Abhira. Abhira reminds him that they managed such separation seven years ago, questioning why it cannot be done now to protect her daughter.

Overwhelmed, she breaks down, and Armaan encourages her to stay strong and not lose hope. They share a quiet moment, holding hands, with Armaan reassuring her that both he and Maira will always remain with her.

Jalebi’s Warning

As the visitation ends, Armaan wishes he could spend more time with Abhira. After he leaves, Abhira cries, and Jalebi steps in once again when a bulb suddenly bursts. She warns Abhira not to trust anyone blindly. As Abhira tries to walk away, Jalebi shares more about her past and points out that despite their divorce, Abhira and Armaan still have deep feelings for each other.

Maira confronts Armaan

Meanwhile, Maira grows impatient when Armaan doesn't answer her calls. Kaveri tells her he might be preoccupied with work. Determined, Maira decides to track him down herself.

When Armaan returns home, Maira excitedly confronts him about Abhira. Geetanjali asks Maira to let Armaan rest, but Maira presses on, questioning why he married Geetanjali.

Vidya tries to divert her attention, yet Maira persists, breaking down as she pleads for Armaan to reunite their family. She even urges him to cancel his marriage to Geetanjali. Armaan, however, asks Maira to accept Geetanjali, leaving Maira resolute in her stance.
