Episode 417 Discussion: 31st Oct 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Note for Newcomers to this thread.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

Here are some facts & observations after watching today's epi..

saas is a saas is a saas...today, i felt like slapping Madhu, if it cud wake her up and make her see how the world functions...if you're good, that does not mean others will be good to you..infact they will take advantage , use you and throw you out...so lesson no. 1 ..."jo jaisa hai, uske saath vaise bano" but for that, it's important to judge people correctly and not by relation...

We will crib endlessly but they won't change their sadist ways...There was no suspense that this accident will be linked to the KC and Madhu's nakshatra...I don't mind if they're planning to bring RM's separation due to this, bec. this is a huge mental block for Madhu now, BUT they HAVE to rubbish it all later on..talking of separation, I don't mind watching it but I want poetic justice for RM..Let RK suffer, let Radha see his destruction, let Radha realize what all Madhu did for him, let RK become the old RK or worse than that, but I want this to b/w RM ONLY ! no Pabo, no AB, no Radha, no Bittuji, no heroine , no MC, no film...I'll not complain if tomorrrow Madhu follows the footsteps of Katrina Kaif and promise God to leave RK forever if he grants her wish...but i cannot see the evil witches smile on their victory seeing Madhu in distress..they should suffer more than Madhu..

I was completely blank when I saw the episode..i didn't know where the story is going, what they're trying to show..but I was happy that for once, MAdhu cud see the true face of Radha..NOW Radha is normal...Today, Kukuji & Sikky were a notch above Radha, she fell this low...She completely deserves a psycho sister, a parasitical Bhatia family (I wish they use her , take her money and throw her on the roads) , a kameeni bahu like Dipali 🤢 and a son who disowned her bec. she's completely worthless 👏 and today, she doesn't have the "main ma hoon excuse" ! which parivar parivar was she bragging about? 😡 the sicko Bhatia gang? or RK and Radha who were not talking for 12 years? RK owes his existence to Madhu, only if she was not this big an emotional fool and understood where her husband is coming from, itna satyanash na hota uska..

what else..

DD was OUTSTANDING, she was amazing in the emotional scenes ! Take a bow lady !👏 I was completely bowled over ! I wish Madhu had the support of at least one person (her mom, Roma, Bittuji), her true well wisher bec. it seems that she's surrounded by rats, vultures and snakes ...someone who can speak up for her , just like RK, or she starts speaking for herself 😡 PLZ !

n now i'm serious about it . I will STOP watching this crap if RK doesn't wake up in the next 2 episodes 😆 damn the comma...main MB ko comma mein bejh doongi, i will quit ..yeh aurton ki manhoosiyat dekhne ke liye nahi baithi 🤢

ETA behosh hokar bhi banda itna cute lag raha tha 🤣

After today's episode I have to say to Rji, all this is not happening to your son bcoz of Madhu. Its bcoz u were stupid n weak enough to bring those snakes you call husband and step son into his life. They both are solely responsible for RK' s condition today and in effect that means you RJi. You and you alone are responsible for all the misfortunes n miseries in his life, ever since his father's death. So please refrain from blaming Madhu. I hope you can witness ur son's destruction once again, if ever you and your evil sister succeed in driving her away from his life. Even better I want to stick around till the day you come to know the truth of the slithering snakes in your peaceful family.

DD was awesome today int he emotional scenes at the hospital and so was Shama Deshpande in the final scene, as much as I resent her right now. And RK please wake up. We can't watch this without you.

Read only the WU and from the looks of it ..the episode was well very emotional .

This is the time for Madhu to now grow up ..she needs to snap out of good bahu role ..she needs to learn that not evry one is kind hearted like her .
This is the time where she needs to take a stand .

And I have no words for that b***h Radha !!
She seriously had no right to slap Mb .
The way RK behaves with is totally justified ...this woman doesn't deserve a bit of respect .

And on a side note I dont want Madhu to blame herself at the moment and distance herself from RK ..instead she shoud stand up and show Radha Pabbo and the rest of the parasites their true place .
She needs to become a real sherni now .

I really really wish this happens but I was very disappointed with her today when she removed her sindoor and blamed her "nakshatra" for a stupid accident..n we all know, AB is plotting this and Radha's sweet parivar tried to killed RK..Howcome SHE is responsible , how was it HER carelessness 🤢

I just wish that this just a moment where she breaks down but quickly snaps out of it and becomes a new Madhu ..one which doesn't care for all this crap .

But I know this pretty much impossible and the cv's r sadists

Today's episode - and especially Madhu's reactions - are looking a bit too similar in replicating the previous track in sheer depressing unpalatable defeatist misery.

So far we have already covered the similarities with previous track from Madhu strongly telling the antagonist that she and RK won't be parted, RK getting critically stabbed, and Madhu traumatized and losing her self-belief.
Is it too much to hope that the rest of the track - with several weeks of misery and humiliation for the leads - will not be replicated upto and including only a few minutes of triumph over the antagonist at the end of the excruciating route to that point?☢️

On a frivolous note, RK's critical stab wound ended up with red liquid only after he was wheeled into the hospital.
Very intelligent of the injury to bleed only on the set which may be expected to have ketchup available - the hospital-set, not the film-studio-set.

And Sikki seems to be of an exceptional degree of idiocy that we apparently never properly credited him for.
He thought that replacing a fake knife with a real knife wouldn't turn out to be serious?!
Does he not remember that RK's recent history vis-a-vis brushes with death?

Considering that RK has had 10-12 near-death incidents since his first wedding, and there are enough superstitious idiots in the general population, the one hope after that guruji's horrid description of Madhu was that the CVs would showcase it as false information.
Instead they seem to be packaging the wretched nonsense sympathetically.😕

There was never an allusion to the fact that the guruji didn't even know whether Balraj would have a son or daughter but could expound at such length on everything beyond that.
And to top it off, the juxtaposition of the guruji's description with Mehul's description was also nullified by Mehul's characterization of the heroine of his story being revealed as not matching with his own claims.

Then, for the karva chauth, they messed up on a grand scale again. If the morsel is taken in the mouth, swallowing is immaterial. The vrat is broken.
But the writers decided to try their alag che totally unncessary and unpleasant karva chauth - to balance out the beautiful karva chauth of last year? - at Madhu's expense.
I still don't see the point of of ruining a festival which had such proven appealing potential to showcase the couple, as well as exaggerating the professional requirement.

While Pabho's talk about nivaarans was clearly untrue, at least it looked like a jealous maternal motivation rather than true belief in the guruji's claims.
But then the CVs apparently decided to change that.
First they had Pabho make her revelation tenderly to a sleeping Madhu, so that she might be excused (not by a frigging long shot) for leaving her drenched bahu alone in a deserted area.
Then they had the dratted woman have a self-talk about how getting Madhu out of RK's life was necessary for RK's life, so that we can see she truly believes the guruji's claims.
Then her reactions while watching unseen as her sister turned on Madhu. Not triumphant satisfaction at a successful ploy, but rather righteous justified solidarity.
So the intent is to leave Madhu out to dry, with audience shown that those turning on her are doing so out of genuine belief?!

And kudos to the CVs for finally reaching yet another landmark in the defeatist marathon that both leads have been running in for two tracks now. I clung to waiting for the stardom track before unwedding, after unwedding, through the months of the tracks sidelining RK and Madhu and focussing on the deceased character. Today I finally no longer care. If their grand plan is for the movie to be a success and either or both of the lead characters benefitting professionally by it while both are miserable for varied reasons and every dratted antagonist in the series lives in happiness and ease... I don't seem to have the ability to appreciate that.😭
We have had eight months of almost constant depressing tracks, with the two most recent tracks turning the male lead idiotic (to the point where he'd be maybe as effective on his own behalf comatose as he was while conscious) instead of making the female lead shrewd. But they seem to keep notching up the overdosing of misery and total absence of any triumph for longer than a few minutes at the end of a track as 'interesting'. Today's episode was very 'interesting'. I don't know if it will score TRP, but it does not *seem* likely to be a good turn for the track. May be mistaken about that, and this may be a sheer crowd-pulling turn.😕

The only that I like in today's episode was the way Madhu holding RK's hand and was not letting him to go inside the OT.Plzz Cvs I don't want separation due to Kundali. I think RK will be out of Coma by Monday or Tuesday episode after Madhu's Rona Dhona,i must say Cvs wat a drastic change in Amar and Sikki 's character from a producer to a psycho killer. and Sikky from a comedian to a villain now whose turn Bittuji.About Radha only one word for her Selfish u deserve the behaviour that u get from your son.

Man.. I HATE that effing b*tch!! I want to see her rot in her misery and loneliness!! I think you all know whom I am talking about!

As much as I was pissed at Madhu for the past few days... I felt terrible for her today. She was so alone.. And Drashti was just brilliant!! Hope Madhu learns from all this... even if she leaves RK I want her to be a sherni! I want her to remember the words of Radha always.. and I want her to go completely ruthless with the Bhatia gang and the old hag!! I want a ruthless Madhu! That's it!

And seriously! RK needs to wake up!! Soon!! Hope they don't stretch it too much!!

She was not erasing her sindoor.. she was erasing her kismet... she said nahin chahiyay aisi qismat and then rubbed her forehead.. She was not wearing any sindoor as they were shooting. And I think it's quite natural for her to feel guilty.. She wanted someone to assure her that it's not her fault but the opposite happened.. Her mental and emotional state was understandable I guess.. It's not a small accident.
