Episode 286 Discussion: 31st May 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Note for Newcomers to this thread.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

Episode 286 Discussion - EOD Summary

RK's bachelor party with Bittuji, RK can't fall asleep without Madhu by his side so hijacks her for the night from Radhaji's room.

Events Of The Episode

1. A famous dress designer visits RK mansion and presents him a georgeous shadi ka lehega for Madhu. Sikki decides to open a wedding planner firm and shares his plans with Dipali. Dipali has no patience to hear him out. She takes a champagne bottle and leaves the room. RK is drinking with Bittuji who is quite drunk and in gregarious mood. Dipali comes there and presents RK the champagne bottle giving him congrats in advance for tomorrow. Radhaji meanwhile is on the phone with jeweller. Madhu comes and makes her take rest from these activities and puts oil on her feet. She is sad to remember doing such thing for Padmini. Radhaji offers to go tomorrow to talk to Padmini again but Madhu says no use.

2. Sikki and Dipali join RK and Bittuji in drinking. RK thanks Sikki for taking over his headache (his ex. GF aka Dipali). Dipali is drinking quietly which RK notices and asks her what evil plans she is cooking. Dipali tells him actions speak louder than words and tomorrow she will show RK how much he really needs her. RK seems thoughtful. At night RK sneaks in Radhaji's room and over Madhu's muffled protests, carries her to his bedroom. He removes the pillow wall, takes her hand in his and while Madhu is talking falls asleep. Next day early in the morning he walks her back to Radhaji's room.

3. When Madhu protests that his behavior is due to his ego, he explains to her that this act was important as he cannot fall asleep if she is not by his side.This softens Madhu. She hugs him and tiptoes back into Radhaji's room to sleep. Next morning Sikki and Dipali gather in the living room in all their fine clothes. Bittuji and Radhaji are also bustling. RK comes downstairs in his sherwani. Radhaji applies kala tika on him to ward off evil eye. He applies one on her as well. Then they get ready to leave for temple.

4. Sikki and Dipali are around. Sikki and Bittuji are both nursing hangover. The jeweller comes meanwhile and hands over the jewellery bag to Sikki. Dipali takes it in her hand and thinks that she hopes the fake jeweller (aka Sultan) also shows up.

RK and Bittooji drinking together seems nice .. but RK, Bittooji, Dipali and Skkiy? 🤔 I so didn't expect that. It seems the happiness in his life is overflowing so much that he doesn't mind sharing some of it with them.

But I loved the whole scene. ❤️ It was brilliant. And the RishBala part after it was cute. RK just fell asleep. 😆 Though I'm surprised that Radhaji was sleeping with every light in the room on.

The decorations were amazing, loved the lighting. The whole "kala teeka", "nazar nahin lagni chahiye" was all to add the effect of uncertainty about the success of this attempt at marriage.

The sari has not been found by RK. I get the feeling that once Sultan kidnaps Madhu, or for whatever reason she goes missing, RK will find it, will have by then found out about Madhu's revenge .. and the whole situation will be to force him into thinking that Madhu has done the un-wedding part 2. Will he think that? I believe so. But then he will also forgive her I think.

Madhu seemed quite disappointed that RK slept off after removing the pillow wall 🤣

I was so curious to see Sultan, the fake jeweller... Got a glimpse in the precap 😆. Seeing Madhu in the precap, i just remembered RK's dialog during unwedding "Galat expressions, wrong emotions". Why does she have to run to him? CV's way of confusing everyone?

Am sure Dips will shoot a video and show to RK. Test of trust for RK ahead. Hope he passes with flying colors 😊

the morning scene, i just hope and pray that THIS is not the wedding outfit for RK..this one is for the pooja and he will wear something else on his wedding...this chatak matak golden gift wrapping paper is not color coordinated with Madhu;s beautiful lehanga..

Radha was looking good for a change..and Dips ka plan is in action..lets see kitna bada dhamaka hota hai

Precap, HOW DARE YOU goldie 😡 RK ke room mein ! and NOW Madhu will know ke kitni jhamele paale hai usne..sabse pehle Sultan ki band Madhu bajayegi, phir RK .. but i guess we'll have to wait till monday to see the real action..Madhu must have seen her red saaree n she was reminded of her revenge ..also, she didn't tell RK...

RK BITTUJI hug was super cute.

Rk as much as dislikes dips can't ignore her.all together, he does notice change in her behavior " Aaaj ka tumhara mujhe ghoorne ka Kota khatam" Wow, lucky dips!!!

I loved loved sleepy drunk rk picking up madhu, kicking off pillows and sleeping happily. He was sooo adorable, is it a surprise madhu disappointed as he slept so quick, she should be flying high. She should have had adrenaline rush while he was removing the pillows. But...

Well good happy romance seems to be coming to a stop OR temporary pause with sulthan in the mansion!

Isn't it for plot convenience rk leaves madhu all alone before the marriage, can't Bittuji stay back?????

I couldn't quite read madhu expressions! Precaps are usually misleading, did yesterday precap happen in today's episode? Did I miss it??

so here is some of my views on today's epi! :- 😳

1. loved the lehenga that Neeta Lulla brought n the colour too!! 😳 👏

2. RK n Bittuji's scene were too good, especially the I Love you Waala hug of them!! 🤣

3 . RK calling dips as Bada Sar Dard n thanking Sikky for taking it on his head..🤣

4. Bittuji laughing when RK was BBB of sikki n deepali!! 🤣 😆

5. Official name for sikky n deepali given by sikky "Sikyaali"..👍🏼

6. Rishbala cute scenes n their hug !!

7. Madhu's " Hawww u r drunk" to RK.

8. RK removing the pillow wall .☺️

9 Madhu disappointed that RK slept too early!!😲 🥺

10. RK asking bittuji Majama?? n bittuji saying Chief Majama nahi sazama ..

11. RK n Radhaji's scene was amazing..👍🏼 👏

It was a very nice episode..

Neeta's outfit for Madhu looked pretty...

RK's unique bachelor party: Aww... He calls Bittuji his brother... well it isn't the first time but still it was a very endearing moment watching the two hug each other with the ILU😃

Sikky was the gadha as usual...

His "kamaal kar diya.. dhoti phaad ke rumaal kar diya " had me me ROFLing..

The dialogue writer seems to have taken Sikyali from the MF as their pair name

RK's antennas seem to be up at all times... He notices that Dipzy is silent and asks if she is cooking some khichdi and then she also warns him that she would open her mouth tomorrow...

RK-Madhu scene: They both were beyond cute and slip into their comfort zone so so easily... It is really very heart-warming to watch them... RK slept like a kid:)

RK-Radha scene during the morning was nice with both applying kala teeka to each othet so that nazar na lage:)

Bittuji was looking quite good in that suit ...

Hope the outfit that RK is wearing is not his wedding one...

There's quite a possibility that Radhaji might convince Paddy to make an appearance... May be Padmini should just come and see the tamasha for a change just for the kicks of it instead of cribbing and hyperventilating with the "meri beti jaap and sultan jaap"
