1.we have postings right frm 2nd year so we will be treatin patients but with the help of senior doctors
2.internship is the 5th year..there is no entrance exam for that
3.how will she be killing patients when she'll be just assisting the senior docs cos shes just an intern not even a post graduate

otherwise loved the cast❤️
acting is fab👏
bg is k!😊

Lol yeah obviously when you are a doctor...you tend to notice these things more... there is no All India Rank in MBBS...its either for MBBS entrance or for Medical Postgrad entrance... but I guess hum doctors ko zyada dikhta hai because it is related to our profession...

Anyway DMG made a mockery of the profession...🥱I hope KTLK gets some basics right!

that aside, I always always think that why don't these people do little bit of search before they make a medical show..is it really that difficult... while in DMG...internship posting were assigned daily 😕in KTLH apparently there is a common final year examination for MBBS...and you get All India Ranks... 😳 Hello this is MBBS final year exam...not the MBBS entrance exam...in that you have all india entrance exam...once you are studying MBBS...you have your own university/college exam for all the years...no national level exam... kuch bhi dikhate hai seriously... All India 14 rank ! 🤔

Manaliii🤗🤗🤗

LOL I guess I didn't realize that bit about the rank...haha...but yeah hopefully they will show a bit more realism to the medical profession...dekhte hain kya karte hain.

Yeah the BG music was too loud in some bits...like the flashback with the lawyer...I couldn't even hear their dialogues properly cuz I was straining to hear them over the loud bg music. That's probably why my first reaction to the epi was one of irritation😆

DK is Dhoop Kinare...a classic Pakistani show and KTLK is an adaptation of it.

Here is some info about the show from wikipedia:

I got a feel of Zoya and Ahmer's characters from whatever i saw of Zoya-Ahmer scenes for DK.. and i think MB and KK did justice to their respective characters.. I cud feel Ashutosh's pain and Nidhis' worries abt her profession.. tho i wanted to see more of Nidhi.. I guess i have to wait..

I read the story of DK and i think KTLK gave a good start to the story.. it presented all characters well and set up a gud foundation for the story to pick up..

The pace i found was good.. i didnt feel it patchy at all.. the flow was perfect for today's generation.. if it goes with the pace of DK, it wud yield more yawns thn chuckles..

Dialogues were kept simple considering its a comtemporary remake.. hard hitting dialogues r not in thing..

the depth of relations wernt explored much bt the bonding and closeness was evident.. considering its jst a first epi.. i wud say it was promising tho..

the only problem was the loudest BG music.. and a few characters tht didnt impress much.. 1. Angi's father 2. Nidhi's servant.. 3. Ashutosh caretaker..

Angi, lawyer, Baba, Angi's mom were okay..

Nidhi's father and bua did gud job..

overall promising show.. light hearted hinting at the bond tht wud develop slowly betn Nidhi and Ashutosh.. and we wud c the depth of the story line.. ppl wud defo come back to watch this refreshing show..

I wud defo pick fresh KTLK ahead of stale BV..

If they keep going same way, KTLK wud turnout another winner for Sony after BALH..

More of Nidhi?? LOL she was pretty much there in 80% of the epi anyways yaar...I'd say she got major footage in this epi...much more than Ashutosh.

I'd still say that the flow was patchy...some scenes need to be eased into more...if this show was or is really for today's generation, then they'll be showing dumb 20 minute eye locks and trip-catch dupatta scenes as well...which I surely hope is NOT the case...beyond sick of that crap in other shows anyways. I think this show is directed at a bit more mature audience so the pace should be according to that.

I've seen DK so yes on some level I can't help but slightly compare some scenes in my mind even though MB-KK did an alright job for the first epi...I found the issue to be more with the direction than with their acting to be honest.

Why is this a comparison to BV?😕😆...I don't even watch BV right now...obviously this is a totally different genre.

DK did have pace issues in b/w and I'm not expecting THAT pace also but yes the FLOW of an epi is important which had hiccups yesterday, that's all I'm saying.

If you've seen DK, you'd see that Angie's father is a carbon copy of the one from DK...even appearance-wise...so yeah I wasn't too taken in with the original and don't care much about the character in KTLK either😆...ditto for the dadi bua...the cook is a random addition...and they changed the gender of the lawyer...lol...it was a man in DK😆

Her extreme dislike at being a doctor in first place, just does not justify her passing the exam with flying colors. It is extremely difficult to pass the exams in the first place and if she did it without studying then she must've been a genius or a prodigy. Because without passion, one cannot simply stand 14th in the MBBS exams. It was sooo OTT ... 😆

Tell me about it!!! MBBS pass karna halwa hai kya 😆

Ask me!!!!!!!!!!!!😭 😭😆😆 passion hoke bhi its damn difficult to pass mbbs and yahan without passion ...passing with flying colors... woah!😆

I actually had to rewatch just the beginning scene and I do not have any comment regarding it coz I can just ignore and so should you. Hey at least we can say it was different when you look at BALH some of the scenes had the same music ekta had in her shows in the 90s. Recycling music is a big no. 😆 Seriously I will take bad music rather than recycled music. Imagine if we had music from Rajan shahi's previous shows in KTLK. 🤣 I am sure then you will appreciate this new music or maybe not.😆

LOL I should also just try to ignore the sounds I guess...hopeless cause😆...BALH mein recycled music and yahaan screechy loud music😕😆

Anyways, have you seen the official music vid they released?

Not sure what to make of it...the heart with arrow design she made with the stethoscope was a bit too OTT😕😕😆😆

This show needs subtlety but I'm beginning to have my doubts about whether they'll manage that b/w all these flowing curtains, falling rose petals and flying papers😕😆

Anuuu!! 🤗🤗

I watched the first epi online... haven't watched DK...so I can't really compare...thought the epi was ok... considering the crap that we get on TV everyday...it was decent... but yeah like you said...the flashback wasn't shown well... scenes mein koi "thehraav" nahi tha... 😕 Hopefully things will improve...decent start hai..lets see aage kya karte hain...will try to catch in on TV from today...

@bold: lol that's kind of obvious... its more of a profession thing...the non-medics won't notice...especially when you aren't familiar with the Indian medical education system etc.

I think they won't stay very true to DK...they've adapted the concept and all the characters, but they will deffo make it a bit more dramatic if we go by the first episode...DK was slower and more subtle.

I agree that Kritika is an OK actress...but this forum is mainly filled with her fanbase, so I can understand the responses you may have gotten.

I've seen her work previously and yes this role would deffo be more of a challenge than her previous ones however a lot depends on the way the director handles it too...otherwise I feel Kritika is apt for the role of the bubbly/mischievous Zoya...this is just my opinion but I don't think the original Zoya was the greatest thing since sliced bread either...Dr. Ahmer was a class apart.

I think this show can best be viewed by keeping your expectations rock bottom with regards to living up to DK😆

Music video dekha?? It's kinda funny in bits😆...the falling rose petals, flying curtains😆...and the bit where he backs out of range when she's trying to touch him blindfolded😆
