I havent watched much of DK.. so i think it was blessing in disguise..
I got a feel of Zoya and Ahmer's characters from whatever i saw of Zoya-Ahmer scenes for DK.. and i think MB and KK did justice to their respective characters.. I cud feel Ashutosh's pain and Nidhis' worries abt her profession.. tho i wanted to see more of Nidhi.. I guess i have to wait..
I read the story of DK and i think KTLK gave a good start to the story.. it presented all characters well and set up a gud foundation for the story to pick up..
The pace i found was good.. i didnt feel it patchy at all.. the flow was perfect for today's generation.. if it goes with the pace of DK, it wud yield more yawns thn chuckles..
Dialogues were kept simple considering its a comtemporary remake.. hard hitting dialogues r not in thing..
the depth of relations wernt explored much bt the bonding and closeness was evident.. considering its jst a first epi.. i wud say it was promising tho..
the only problem was the loudest BG music.. and a few characters tht didnt impress much.. 1. Angi's father 2. Nidhi's servant.. 3. Ashutosh caretaker..
Angi, lawyer, Baba, Angi's mom were okay..
Nidhi's father and bua did gud job..
overall promising show.. light hearted hinting at the bond tht wud develop slowly betn Nidhi and Ashutosh.. and we wud c the depth of the story line.. ppl wud defo come back to watch this refreshing show..
I wud defo pick fresh KTLK ahead of stale BV..
If they keep going same way, KTLK wud turnout another winner for Sony after BALH..
