I am going to type a quick one and run and then respond on the phone as and when possible. I thought this was the farmhouse fire... not the shimla fire. i.e. the farmhouse fire was their marriage(mangalsutra) pyre. Dev took to external things like drinking/girls as a clutch while sona took to responsibility. They are again back in this situation due to circumstances. They held their hands over that fire. i.e. they will tackle this issue as a team.

The sizzling romance was ofcourse awesome. The fact that they referenced (cant recall, did both think of the fb sexual scenes or only Dev?) their S1 romance means they now acknowledge that they have love and longing for each other. They, however, also understand that the other person isn't what they thought their life partner would be(i.e. that wasn't worth it). Which is why they did not take the act any further. Sona and Dev were both conscientious of the other person's feelings now and very comfortable with that. Dev leaned and pulled her arm and she let him do that. (on that note, wine does suit Dr Bose).

If you ask me, they are both being very sensible and gearing up for co-parenting.

This is very random and I need to process the episode more. The camera work was awesome. Their eye colour became very intense as the scenes went on (something i had badly missed in the hickey night. The intensity was flat)

I don't remember who analysed that part (may be it was Shaavi) but someone said that for Dev it was about staying with him and fighting. He didn't wanted Sonakshi to go away and to stay back and fight with him and imply that haq. In that post it was also mentioned about ish- dev relationship, no matter how much they fight, ignore and annoy each other but still his mother never left him. And he expected same from Sonakshi, not to leave him. This is the reason he said that "apne" thing and it has nothing to do with blood relations.

I will put in my two cents here. Marriage agreed takes years of patience, sacrifices and adjustments but there are some limits which have to be respected. Husband and wife telling each other to get out or demand a divorce when they are alone is different, husband telling wife to get out in conjunction with his entire family is different.

Again wife's relationship with the entire family is also an important deciding factor here. Saying get out in a toxic environment and at such a crucial time is not a small thing. There are some insults which can't be ignored because they hurt your very essence of being you.

Further Sonakshi never had the right to consider that house as hers. It was just not possible for her to go and sit in her room saying it's my house. It was always Ishwari's house.

See I agree that the entire five crore incident was handled in an equally immature manner by the boses and there was no need to aggravate the situation to this level. What could have been Ishwari's greatest debacle and defeat was converted into her greatest victory by the bose pride.

But that day and at that point of time there was no way Sona could have stayed back.

Completely agree with you payal. Would like to share some more thoughts here. Everyone will have their own breaking point while handling situations in their life. Seeing his mother on the death bed may be the breaking point for him to give up on his relationship at the same time seeing her family on road may be the breaking point for her. Hearing a get out in front of his family really hurts a wife but i feel a wife holding a husband's collar in front of his family is equally hurting for a man. A husband sleeping in couch after a fight as well as a wife throwing her husband out of her room both are disrespectful towards their spouse. I think we had similar kind of discussion in thread one or two. Life is a circle.😊
Finally, what i was trying to say all the time is, Respect is not women's right, it's human right. Each and every relationship should be treated with respect. Just my pov.

Both of them are under the same impression, that their relationship was a mistake to begin with. And they have had seven years to mould their memories around this idea. For Dev, Sona is defined by the fact that she left, and for Sona, Dev is nothing but the mumma's boy who could never stand up for her. They have to rediscover and remember how completely they belonged to each other, and that can only happen when they spend time with each other outside of their own heads.

I mean, look at them. The moment they are alone together, the sparks fly and they end up locked in each other's gaze. It's a powerful, undeniable connection that apparently hasn't faded with the years they've been apart. That is what brought them together, and still does. So what are they going to do about it now?

The fire went out in Shimla, but it's burning with conviction now! 😲

I think this time there love will provide them warmth which they required and you know another symbolism it was the out come of gili lakadi first it was not able to burn but after some time it becomes the, part of the fire. So I feel initially there wi be, problems, but after that they both will get their love again
I fell its a positive symbols. And another part which I like most is they become the mother and father of soha and respected each other
And, for the first time they are very open about there pain.

I see so many deep views here ..it just leaves me dazed almost everytime :)

Today..Dev Sonakshi's conversation was very engaging and spot on..Absolutely full on entertaining intense episode..Definitely gonna have few more revisions of it :)

I was smirking all the while..Their constant effort to show bitterness for each other is very amusing ..They dont leave even a single chance

Its pretty clear as much as they will try to move away from each other..situations circumstances are gonna bring them back together..Thats whats fate is all about

"Main tumharey saath ek minute bhi nahi rumna chahti"

"Aur mein tumse door jane ka wait kar raha hoon"

Absolutely heart wrenching dialogs :)

"jab humara bheega rishta bhi nafrat ki aag mein jal gaya, toh ye lakdiyan kya cheez hai"

"jab zindagi itni kadvi ho toh baki cheezein itni kadvi nahi lagti"

"Zindagi ne mujhe bhi bohot kadve sach pilayein hai"

"Haq apno ko dete hai jo chod ke chale jaye unko nahi"

"Tumne 7 saal pehely ye haq mujhe diya hota toh aaj humari ek happy family hoti"

Brilliant job..kudos to writers :)
So much toh introspect so much to feel enjoy and discuss..a perfect Friday's episode

Awesome analysis everyone... i felt dev nd sona put across strong points against each other but their communication was abstract. They both put their bitterness in the fore and both doesnt want to dwell on the depth of the charges thy put against each other. Thy both r in their respective 'i am right ' place. Their bitterness is too strong as a wall tht even the sexual tension is overcome easily.. ( i was left wondering is tht even possible in real life which was so palpable. I simply cannot.. 😉. )

Btw... dev claims tht soha has full haq on him nd vice versa.. but in the precap she decides to stay away frm both of thm if thy cant stay together. Will the same statement of dev he said to sona ... tht haq is given only to apne and not for those who decides to go away frm him applies to soha too..

@Bold: True... And I feel it is a positive sign.👍🏼

On one hand, Dev has lost 7 years of fatherhood, a loving and caring wife. On the other hand, Sona too has lost a loving and caring husband, a partner's support while raising her child. I feel with both of them opening up about their feelings, without any fear of losing each other, without any intention of impressing each other, Dev and Sona are moving in the right direction. And I also feel Dev should not fear to lose Soha also, whatever the reason. He should take lesson from Ishwari in this regard.😛

Soha too has lost the warmth of father's love that we often take for granted. She is literally following "Pehle istemaal kare phir vishwas karein"...
