Prerna is so relieved now, she has gotten more than she had asked for, her husband and her son. Right now, she is not thinking about anything or anybody, her focus is just her son, Kunal. She is looking for him everywhere, but doesn€™t find him anywhere. She finally finds him at a Starbucks, ordering coffee. She just stands behind him, and watches him with a smile and tears in her eyes.
K: Hey, ummm€I would like to have 3 regular coffee
W: ok sir, will be right up!
Kunal picks up his order and looks behind only to find his mother, standing there looking at him lovingly, a look that he was looking forward to all his life. He loved his mother more than anything in this world. He smiles back at her, and offers her the coffee that he had in his hand
K: here you go ma, this is for you. It will freshen u up a bit, aap bahut thakk gayi hai.
He finds a table right next to him, and pulls out a chair for his mother to sit.
K: Baithiye maatashree!
Prerna just burst into laughing and her son, Kunal wipes his mother€™s tears off.
K: Come on ma, not again, pehle papa ke saath ro rahi thi, aur ab yahaan!
P: Beta, I am sorry€I failed to recognize u, tum mere bete hote huey bhi.
K: Aap jhooth bol rahi hai.
Prerna is confused.
K: Aap agar mujhe pehchaan nahi payi toh aap mujhe aise gale nahi lagati, u wouldn€™t have looked at me, like u know me since the time I was born, wouldn€™t have made me feel I was a part of u. Mom, I didn€™t know how u looked like, I had never seen u in my life ever, not even a picture of u, just imagined u, and the moment I saw, I knew it. I knew u were my mother, I saw the love in your eyes ma, and so did u.
It was just hard to believe.
Prerna is proud that she had given birth to a son, who was understanding and loved his parents more than anything in this world, who didn€™t blame them for not being there for him, for not raising him. She thought that her son, was kidnapped by Komolika, a more evil person than Apo*na, and still her son, managed to be a gem of a person. She just couldn€™t be happier.
K: Ma, now let€™s go and give this coffee to dad, he needs it. Come on!
Prerna gets up and just hugs her son, and they both share a mother son moment.
K: I love you Ma.
P: I love u too beta, I love u too.
Kunal and Prerna walk to Rishabh€™s ward happily.
Rishabh who is reading a newspaper, is distracted by his son.
K: Dad, here u go, enough of this newspaper, have some coffee now.
R: Thanks, bete, so ma aur bete mein sula huey? Dekha Prerna Bajaj, beta puri tarah se baap par gaya hai, he has forgiven u so easily.
He laughs like his cute usual self, and Kunal and Prerna join him.
R: So, Prerna, Mr. Basu kahaan hai?
P: Anurag, ghar chalagaya, Sampada ko airport par laane. She is pregnant again.
R: Again? (Rishabh is so shocked that he ends up spilling some of his coffee, he laughs)
P: Kya hua?
R: Kuch nahin.
Suddenly Kunal€™s phone rings and he answers it. It is kasak.
K: Hi!
Ka: Kunal, papa kaise hai?
K: He is absolutely fine, don€™t worry he is out of danger!
Ka: what was it gonna take, to just make a simple call, do u know worried I was.
K: Hey sis, chill out, here u go talk to dad.
Prerna was shocked, she didn€™t know that Kasak was aware of this too, all this while she kept in touch with Kasak but never did she mention anything about her father or brother.
Rishabh realizes what€™s going on in Prerna€™s mind and he wants to explain, but has to first talk to Kasak.
R: hi sona!
K: Dad, u r alright na?
(her voice is that of someone who is about to cry, she is so worried)
R: Yes, Beta, I am absolutely fine, no worries, now get ready to get some long lecture.
K: What?
R: Your mom is right here, looking at me with a lot of u know!
K: Dad!!!!!!! I am dead.
R: We all are, here talk to ur mother.
How will the conversation between these Bajaj ladies go?
