Ok guys here is part 4. I hope I didnt let you guys down!
Part 4
Bani was starving and tired. Her body was suffering from the lack of food and rest. The sun was almost going under and she had still not succeeded in finding Jai Walia. Whenever she asked someone on the streets for directions to Walia Enterprises they would laugh out loud and walk further or they would give her a "are you out of your mind"-look. Her stomach started making funny sounds in protest. Bani hold her hand on her tummy an stopped walking. She searched her one pocket trouser for some money. She found a couple of coins that were not even enough to buy her a piece of bread. That jerk Rajeev had refused to pay her this morning when she told him she was going to be away for a way or two as she had to visit a sick relative. He told her he will pay her when she came back. Bani had hidden the leather wallet under her shirt and while talking to Rajeev she made sure Rano was standing infront of her to cover up for the bumb under her clothes. Once they had left she was relieved he didnt discover the wallet. Otherwise they would have been a lost case. Not only would he take it from them, but he would have made their lives a living hell for stealing in his area without his knowledge. Bani cursed him and searched her pocket again, but she didnt find another coin. She turned around to ask Rano if she had some change, but didnt find her. When she looked more closely she saw Rano standing at the window of a fancy restaurant across the street. She looked like a hunry doggy, waiting for some kind person to throw him some food from his plate. Bani fought a battle against her upcoming tears and quickly ran towards Rano, almost getting hit by a speeding car. She reached Rano and tried to pull her gently by the arm. 'Rano, come we have to move on.' Rano shook her head in disagreement and didnt move an inch from where she was standing. Her hands and nose were touching the cold glass. Her eyes fixed on the delicious fish dish infront of her. The restaurant was lit up by candles and it had clearly a very nice ambiance. Bani could see how a little band was playing music. Apperently it was soft music, because she saw different couples dancing slowly. The whole scene took her breath away and while Rano's eyes were fixed only on the food, Bani let her eyes scan the whole restaurant.
Roshini was looking is Jai's eyes. She tried to figure out what was going through his head right now. He had been in a very bad mood and when mrs. Singh called her crying she new that Jai wasnt doing well at all. She knew very well that he was suffering from a heartbreak, but that didnt mean he had a right to behave badly with other people. First it was that poor girl on the street and after that mrs. Singh and a couple of other of his employees. She wanted to cheer him up and let him see the bright side of things, so she made him take her out for dinner. He took her to her favourite restaurant. As they were dancing she kept trying to read his dark eyes, but as mysterious as they were they didnt allow her to look into his heart and soul. 'A penny for your thoughts!' Jai got starrtled by her voice. They had been dancing in total silent for the last fiftheen minutes. The peaceful music and the warmth of the place had given him the perfect oppertunity to escape to his dark thoughts. He was thinking of Pia and her deceit. He had loved her so much and trusted her more than he trusted himself. He had granted her her every wish and did anything to keep her happy and she ... she ditched him for his worst enemy. What did Rahul have what he didnt? After alot of thinking he could only find one answer to all of his questions and that was that woman were evil. They were not able to love. All they cared for was money and right there at that time he took an oath to never fall in love again. He looked into Roshini's eyes, determined not to let her know what was going on in his mind. He gave her a little smile and slightly shook his head. 'Nothing. Shall we go have our dinner?' Roshini just nodded her head, stopped dancing and walk towards their table that was at the other side of the restaurant infront of the window giving them view over the busy, yet cheerfull street. Jai looked how Roshini walked away from him. She looked very good in a backless black dress. Despite her great offer to look good he didnt complement her. Somewhere deep down he felt guilty about it, but he waved the feeling away telling himself that no woman deserved his attention more than was needed not even Roshini. A short and high shout brought him back to reality. Roshini was standing infront of their table pointing towards the window. Jai was suprised to see two girl standing glued to it, their mouth open and their eyes popping out. A waitor quicly walked up to Roshini and apologised. He assured her that they would take care of the two beggars standing outside and that to make it up to them their whole evening will be on the house. Roshini's didnt even hear him. She looked at the girls and how they got shocked when they noticed her and clearly remembered her. They set a step back from the window and said something to each other. Roshini felt how Jai's hand pinced her shoulders. 'Are you ok Roshini? They are just beggars. Dont tell me you never met any? The waitor already assured they will take care of them.' Jai hadn't completed his sentence and there were already two well built guys standing infront of the two girls outside. Holding them roughly by the arm and pulling them away from the window. Both of them didnt cooperate and tried to set themself loose. They kept pointing towards Jai and Roshini and yelling things Roshini nor Jai could hear. 'What the hell are they doing?' Jai was looking at the girls with in disbelieve. 'You don't understand Jai. This is the girl you misbehaved with the other night when you were drunk. You clearly dont remember her.' Jai was even more suprised. He turned Roshini towards him, while still holding her shoulder. With an eyebrow up he asked her if that was the same girl who had slapped him and spitted in his face. Roshini nodded her head and started walking towards the door. 'Come one Jai we have to do something.' Jai just kept gazing at the small figures of the girls and wondered which one of them had dared to stand up to him.
Bani kicked the heavy boned bodyguard after telling him a hundred time to leave her in vain. She felt a hard slap coming down on her face, making her see stars. But being the tough girl she was she didnt cry nor give up. She kept screaming at the guys to let go of her and her sister. 'Let her go!' Bani was suprised to see Roshini standing next to the bodyguard. He let go of Bani at once, resulting in the poor girl being dropped on the ground. Bani quickly got up and thanked Roshini. 'Thank you madame. You see we weren't doing anything wrong. We've been ...' 'Been what? Trying to eat our food with your eyes?' Bani looked up at Jai who had joined them. He had quickly decided that it must have been Bani who had insulted him. The other girl looked too scared and fragile. He gave Bani an arrogant look, as he kept standing next to Roshini with his hand in his pockets. His three piece suit made him look older than the other night, but certainly not more likeable. Despite not being drunk he was still rude. 'No sir. We already had our meal. A proper one, not like yours.' Bani blushed. She was never a good liar. Jai laughed out loud. 'Yeah I can see how well fed you are. Listen. If you want to have my meal you can have it. All you have to do for it is asking for it.' He walked towards Bani and stood still leaving hardly a couple of inches between them. Roshini tried to say something, but Jai once again raised his hand in a gesture to tell her not to interfere. He smiled evily to Bani and tried to remove the hair that was being blown infront of her face by the wind. 'You were so brave the other night, what happend now?' Bani pushed his hand away forcefully and with a red face of anger she replied to him. 'I'd rather die, than ask a man like you for food or anything else!' Jai clapped in his hands mockingly. 'Wah! What a big words for a small girl. You are very proud. Every other person in your place would kiss my feet for offering them a decent meal.' Bani was fuming. Her hand was burning to once again leave a mark on the face of the jerk that was standing infront of her. Jai turned around to Roshini. 'Well we have tried to be nice Roshini. We have offered them food, but they are too proud. Let them eat dust instead! Looking at them has lost me my appetite. Let's go home.' Without giving Bani another look he hold Roshini's arm and litterly pulled her towards his car. Bani realised she still didnt give the jerk his wallet back. She called out for him and wanted to walk towards him, but the guards blocked her way. Jai refused to listen, he just laughed and told her it's too late now. She saw how he drove off in his car. In frustration she kicked the bodyguard again and run away with Rano.
