Hy.. Amazing update dear.. I know I've been lost from a long tym now.. But actually I've been keeping busy with my new job n all.. So but really wanted to read the story..

CHAPTER -72

Nandini rushed out of the party hall and Manik followed her.

Manik called out Nandini's name from behind but she didn't stop.

Manik - Nandini wait... Kaha jarahi ho?

Nandini reached the parking lot and tried to open the door of their car.

Manik came from behind and held Nandini's hand.

Manik- Nandini... Kya hua hai tumhe bina keys ke car open karne ki koshish kar rahi ho? Are you Ok?

Nandini jerked Manik's hand and turned towards him.

It is then when Manik realized that Nandini was sweating badly and had fear spread across her face.

Manik got worried and cupped Nandini's cheeks and said- Nandini tum itni Dari Hui kyu ho? Kya hua hai tumhe? Kuch bataogi bhi mujhe?

Nandini immediately hugged Manik and said- Manik... He is back... Maine usey party me Dekha...

Manik - Kaun?

Nandini - Woh... Woh wapas aagaya hai. Mujhe bahut darr lag raha hai Manik. Please aap mere sath hi rahiye...

Manik - Nandini mai tumhare sath hi hoon. Mai kahi nahi jaraha hoon tumhe chodke. But kaun wapas aagaya hai?

Nandini hugged Manik even tightly.

Manik - Acha theek hai. First relax. Calm down. Let's go home.

Saying this Manik made Nandini sit in the car and messaged Pia and Arjun to come at the parking asap to which they obliged.

Then Arjun took the driver's seat and they drove back to the house.

In the journey, Pia tried to ask Nandini what had happened to her and why she was so scared .

In turn Nandini didn't reply but instead held onto Manik's hand tightly who was sitting beside her at the backseat.

Nandini just kept her head on Manik's shoulder and didn't utter a word.

Within few minutes,they reached home and Manik took Nandini to their room.

Arjun and Pia too departed to their room as they wanted to give Nandini some time to open up.

Manik made Nandini sit on the bed and was about to go to the washroom to change but Nandini didn't leave his hand.

Manik sat down beside Nandini and she snuggled into Manik's arms and rested her head on Manik's chest.

Manik kept caressing her cheek with his thumb lost in the thought as to who was the person whom Nandini was referring to.

When he looked at Nandini she had fallen asleep.

Manik carefully made Nandini lie down on the bed and kissed her forehead.

Then he changed his clothes and sat beside and kept looking at Nandini's face which had fear even in her sleep.

Nandini moved in her sleep and held Manik's hand tightly.

Manik too fell asleep in the same position after a while.

In the meantime,

Two people were involved in a serious conversation.

Person 1- Did she see you? What was her reaction?

Person 2- Yes she saw me and was hell scared. But she has no idea that this is just the beginning.

Person 1- You are right. She has to suffer for playing with someones life .

Person 2- Thank you so much for being there for me always.

Person 1- Don't say thanks. I will always be there for you no matter what. Btw what is the next step of your plan...

Person 2- Will let you know soon... Till then let's enjoy our small little victory. Cheers...

Saying this they continued their drinking session.

CHAPTER -73

Nandini woke up the next morning and found herself in Manik's arms.

A smile crept on her lips seeing that Manik had protectively held her even in his sleep. She felt blessed to have Manik as her husband who cared so much for her.

Suddenly she remembered the last night where she was face to face with the person whom she never expected to see ever again in her life.

This thought brought all her fears of past back.

Her thoughts were disturbed by the buzzing of her phone.

Nandini took her mobile and saw a message from an unknown number.

The message read -

Hello Nandu... Good Morning... Kaisi ho?? Pehchaana mujhe??? Bhoolgayi... Koi baat nahi mai yaad dila deta hoon. Yaad hai hum kal party me mile the??? Par tumne to mujhse baat tak nahi ki. It's not fair. But koi nahi. Ab toh milte hi rahenge...

What say????

Nandini woke up with a jerk.

This disturbed Manik's sleep.

Manik saw that Nandini was awake. He got up and asked - Nandini kya hua??? R u Ok????

Nandini - Manik wo wapas aagaya hai. Mujhe bahut dar lag raha hai...

Manik - Nandini kaun wapas aagaya hai. Batao to sahi...

Nandini - Wo Harshad... he is back...

Manik - Kaun Harshad??? Bolo Nandini...

Nandini - College me... us din... he tried to...

Nandini couldn't complete her sentence and out of fear hugged Manik tightly...

Manik gently stroked Nandini's hair to calm her down.

Manik self thought-

Who is this Harshad???? Why is Nandini so scared???

Then he remembered that while Nandini was in college, someone had tried to misbehave with her.

Manik - Kahi ye wahi to nahi jisne Nandini ke sath badtameezi karne ki koshish ki thi jis din mai college se lene gaya tha Nandini ko. Maybe he is the same person.

But wo achanak se yahan Capetown me aur wo bhi Khurana ki party me kya kar raha tha????

Is it just a coincidence???

Then Manik looked at the mobile in Nandini's hand and read the message.

Nandini - Manik he will try to harm me again. Mujhe yahan nahi rehna. Please let's go back to India abhi.

Manik broke the hug and said - Nandini relax... Jab tak mai tumhare sath hoon tumhe Kuch nahi hone doonga. Aur rahi baat India Jane ki to you can't just keep running away like this. You are not a coward. Be brave and face him. I am with you.

Nandini - Par Manik aap usey nahi jaante . He is too dangerous. He can do anything. Let's go back.

Manik - Acha Ok. Go and get ready. We are going out.

Nandini - Kaha jarahe hai hum. Nahi mujhe kahin nahi Jana.

Manik - Nandini... Do you trust me???

Nandini nodded her head in yes.

Manik - Ok Now be a good girl and get ready and don't think too much.

Nandini nodded and went to get ready.

Manik took his phone and dialled a number to enquire about Harshad's whereabouts.

He came to know that Harshad was staying at a hotel along with the Khuranas.

Manik got ready and went to the hotel with Nandini.

Nandini kept asking him as to where they were going.

But Manik didn't reply anything.

They reached the hotel and Manik asked Nandini to come with her.

Nandini - Manik bataiye na hum kaha jarahe hai. Ye hotel me kyu aaye hai hum log.

Manik - You will get to know soon.

Both of them reached a room at the 5th floor.

In the meantime in the same room, a girl entered the room a couple of minutes back and said - What's up Harshad tum itna muskura kyu rahe ho?

Harshad - Muskurane ki hi baat hai. Look at this.

The girl looked at the message in Harshad's mobile and her eyes widened.

Girl- R u mad ??? Ye kya Kia tumne. Ye karne ki kya zarurat thi.

Harshad - Zarurat thi. Mai Nandini ko chain se baithne nahi doonga. She has to live in fear always after what she has done to me.

Girl- Oh God. Tumhe pata bhi hai tumne khud ke liye trouble invite karlia hai ye karke. Ek baar mujhe bata to diya hota ye msg send karne se Pehle. Agar ye message Manik ne dekh liya to tumhari Khair nahi. He won't leave you...

Harshad - Ab hogayi galti mujhse . Aage kya karna hai ye bolo?

The girl was about to say something when there was a knock on the door.

Harshad - Tum socho kya karna hai tab tak mai dekhta hoon ki kaun hai itni subah subah.

Saying this Harshad opened the door without checking who it was.

The very next moment, he was lying on the floor with a strong blow from the visitor...
