Hi guys...

I present you with another update of this story.

CHAPTER -70

Manik opened the back door of the car for the kids and the kids hopped in.

Then Manik opened the door of the passenger seat for Nandini and Nandini sat down.

He himself occupied the driver's seat and drove off to the waterfalls the Krom River Trail.

(An easy out-and-back hiking trail which starts in Du Toitskloof, immediately to the right after the Worcester exit of the Huguenot Tunnel. Permit holders can park at a fenced parking area,at the tunnel control truck stop, about 70m from the tunnel.

From the parking area the trail leads back towards the tunnel (as for the Elands River Trail), follow the trail across the bridge over Molenaars River. After crossing the river, the trail heads upstream and then ascends along the right -hand slopes of the Krom River. Before reaching the first waterfall, the path passes through a magnificent patch of indigenous forest. Extreme caution must be exercised when climbing to the second waterfall with its impressive pool. .

This very popular trail may be inaccessible in winter after heavy rains when the river can be difficult and dangerous to cross. . The second waterfall and large plunge pool are quite spectacular.)

The four of them had to walk their way to the waterfalls.

Aarav-Khushi were cribbing that they don't want to walk and demanded Manik and Nandini to lift them in their arms.

Manik found a way and carried them on their backs by fastening them with a belt.

Then Manik held Nandini's hand and they walked to the waterfalls.

Aarav-Khushi on seeing this held each others hands behind Manik and Nandini's back imitating their parents.

After about 20 minutes of walk, they finally reached the waterfalls.

Aarav-Khushi got down and held each others hands and ran near the waters to get a closer look.

Manik and Nandini smiled seeing the kids enthusiasm and made sure that the kids didn't step into the waters.

Both of them kept a watchful eye on the kids from a distance.

Aarav-Khushi saw that few people were enjoying a boat ride.

Do they ran upto Nandini and Manik and said- Mummaaa ... Dadooo... We want to sitt in boat.

Saying this they held Manik and Nandini's Hand and pulled them to the boat ride.

Manik arranged for a boat for four of them.

The kids sat in the boat on either side of Nandini and Manik occupied the opposite seat .

Manik and Nandini started rowing.

Aarav-Khushi - Mumma we want to row.

Nandini - No Aaru Khush. It's not safe.

Aarav-Khushi - No Mumma we want to row. Dadooo bolo na Mumma ko.

Manik - Nandini... It's Ok . Let them do what they want. Don't worry i am there na. Nothing will happen.

Nandini - But Manik...

Manik - Nandini trust me kuch nahi hoga. Mai hoon na.

Nandini - Ok Aaru Khush but be careful .

Aarav-Khushi took the ores in their hands and started rowing.

Nandini held the kids from backside so that they didn't fall down.

Manik smiled seeing Nandini's concern for the kids and clicked few pics of Nandini's worried face in his mobile.

The four of them spent some fun moments.

They then got off the boat and went to the lowest point of the waterfalls.

Nandini - Manik this is not safe for Aarav-Khushi.

Before Manik could say anything, Aarav-Khushi said- No Mumma we want to shwimm with Dadoo.

Saying this the kids dragged Manik to the waters.

Manik removed his shirt and entered the waters with the kids.

Though Manik gave in to the demands of the kids but as a father he was too cautious and stayed close to the shore.

The kids got busy in their water fight with Manik and Nandini sat at the shore watching the kids having fun with Manik.

Manik looked at Nandini and said- Nandini tum waha kyu baithi ho. It's so much fun out here . You are missing off all the fun.

Nandini - No Manik. Mai yahan Par theek hoon. Aap log enjoy kariye.

Manik - Comeon Nandini ... it's not done yaar. Don't be a spoilsport.

Nandini - Manik aap to jante ho na ki mujhe swimming nahi aati.

Manik - To kya hua . Mai sikha doonga na tumhe. Just come. Don't be scared.

Nandini - But Manik...

Manik to kids- Aarav-Khushi get your Mumma to the waters. She is just Not ready to come.

Aarav-Khushi - Ok Dadooo...

Saying this the kids went to Nandini and brought her to the waters by holding her hands.

Aarav-Khushi - Dadoo Can we make sand castles here.

Manik - Ok Bachcho... But be nearby. Don't go too far.

Aarav-Khushi - Ok.

Saying this they went to the shore and started building their sand castles and got busy in That.

Nandini on taking this opportunity tried to get out of the water but Manik held her by her waist and pulled her closer.

Nandini - Manik kya kar rahe ho aap?

Manik - As if you don't know. Swimming sikha raha hoon aur kya?

Nandini - Manik Mujhe bahut dar lag raha hai.

Manik - Not before teaching you how to swim.

Saying this Manik taught Nandini few basic strokes of swimming.

Nandini learnt quickly whatever Manik taught.

After half an hour,

Manik - Not bad Nandini. You are a quick learner. I m impressed...

Nandini - Thank you. Ab chalein... It's too late now.

Saying this Nandini was about to get out of the water, but Manik pulled Nandini even closer and said-

Shhh... So you are trying to escape huh...

Tumhe Laga hoga ki mai bhool gaya hoon.

But Mrs. Malhotra you are highly mistaken. I still remember ...

Nandini - What???

Manik - Oh... Acting smart with me huh... But let me tell you that I am way too smarter than you. So don't try to pretend.ok.

Nandini - Manik... Jane dijiye na. Bachche wait kar rahe honge.

Manik - Nandini... Now don't make these excuses Ok. You can tell me clearly if you don't want to.

Nandini - Manik aisa nahi hai. Please aap naraaz mat hona.

Manik - Mai naraaz nahi hoon Nandini. I can understand. Let's go.

Nandini stopped Manik by holding his hand and pulled him under water and sealed her lips with Manik's lips by cupping his face with both her hands.

Manik hadn't expected this .

He held Nandini by her waist and responded to the kiss. Both of them closed their eyes to take in each other's presence.

The kiss was full of passion and Manik let Nandini dominate the kiss.

After a good five minutes of the passionate kiss ,both of them came out of the water as they were running out of breath.

Manik - Wowww... That was amazing.

Nandini blushed hard.

Manik - God ...Nandini... I never expected that you...

Nandini didn't let Manik complete his sentence by placing her hand on his lips.

Both of them had a cute eyelock and Nandini hugged Manik and said-Manik I love you so much. I can do anything for you.

Manik - I love you too Nandini. You are my life, my everything. Don't ever leave me.

Nandini - Never.

After spending some time in the waters,Manik and Nandini went to Aarav-Khushi who had made a sand castle with their little hands.

Seeing Manik and Nandini, Aarav-Khushi said-Mummaaa -Dadoo, see we have made a biggg castle for four of us.

Manik and Nandini looked at the castle and said- It's so beautiful bachcho.

Aarav-Khushi - Dadooo...Sheee we made a door alshooo outside the castle.

Nandini - It's so nice Aaru Khush. Come here.

Both the kids ran upto Nandini and hugged her.

Manik too joined them.

Then they played few games with the kids and Manik clicked few pics of the kids with Nandini.

After spending the whole afternoon at the waterfalls, The kids got tired and said- Dadooo... letshh go home.

Nandini - Yes Manik let's go home. Even I am tired.

Manik - Ok lets go.

With this, they left from there and drove away to their home.

Hi guys...

I am here with another update.

CHAPTER -71

Manik and Nandini reached home with the kids.

The kids were too tired.

As it was almost evening, Nandini fed the kids some snacks and took them to their room and put them to sleep.

Manik went to his room and sat on the bed by leaning his head on the headboard and closed his eyes.

Nandini after putting Aarav-Khushi to sleep, came back to the room .

Nandini looked at Manik and a smile crept on her face.

She went to Manik and sat beside him .

Nandini - Kya hua Manik???

Manik opened his eyes and looked at Nandini.

Manik - Kuch nahi... Just a little bit tired. Thoda sa headache hai.

Nandini - Mai head massage kardu?

Manik - Nahi it's Ok. I will be fine.

Nandini - Ofcourse you will be fine. Let me give you a head massage then you can rest for a while.

Manik - Ok as you say.

Saying this Manik kept his head on Nandini's lap and closed his eyes.

Nandini smiled seeing this and started giving head massage to Manik.

Nandini - Manik ek baat puchu aapse?

Manik with his eyes closed just Hmmed...

Nandini - Manik hum India wapas kab jayenge. Amma ki bahut yaad aarahi hai.

Manik opened his eyes and sat straight on seeing Nandini's face.

Manik - Nandini... Agar tum kaho to kal hi chalte hai.

Nandini - Is it possible???

Manik - Ofcourse. Why not??? But did you talk to Appa about it?

Nandini - Nahi . But Appa ko kya problem hogi kal hi chalne me.

Manik - Nandini... I think we should ask him before coming to any decision. I know that he would be ready to leave everything behind for the happiness of you guys. But he needs some time to wind up his business. I am not saying that it will take a week or so. But I guess we can wait for 2 days atleast. Can't we?

Nandini just nodded .

Manik lied down on Nandini's lap again and took Nandini's hand and put it in his hair.

Nandini smiled and completed the head massage.

Manik fell asleep in the same position.

Nandini kept ruffling Manik's hair and thought to herself - Manik. ... Thank you so much for coming in my life. I am really blessed to have you as my life partner.

Nandini was lost in her thoughts when there was a knock on the door.

Nandini carefully made Manik sleep on the pillow and went and opened the door .

It was Pia.

Nandini - Di aap...

Pia - Haan main.Nandu mai tumhare liye ye dress layi hoon. Aaj raat party me tum yahi pehenna.

Nandini - Party??? Kaunsi party Di...

Pia - Arey Budhu... Jiju ne Subah bataya tha na.

Nandini - Oh shit... Di mai to bilkul hi bhool gayi thi.

Pia - Acha. Ok. Ab ye dress le lo. And get ready.

Nandini - Ji Di.

Saying this Nandini took the dress from Pia and she left.

Nandini closed the door and looked at the dress.

Nandini observed that The dress had a deep back neck.

Nandini - OMG... Mai ye dress kaise pehnoongi? My tattoo will be visible if I wear it.

By the time Manik got up and saw Nandini talking to herself.

Manik - Nandini... Kya hua? Is everything ok? Tum khud se kya baatein kar rahi ho?

Nandini - Manik Dekhiye na Di mere liye ye dress lekar aayi hai for the party but I can't wear it.

Manik - Why?? What's the Matter. It's so nice.

Nandini - Ya I know but it has a deep neck and my tattoo will be visible.

Manik - Hmm... That's not a problem. I will get another dress for you.

Nandini - But Di ko bura lagega if I won't wear it.

Manik - Don't worry Nandini... I will tackle her in my own way.

Saying this Manik took his mobile and ordered for a dress for Nandini.

After half an hour, the dress arrived.

Manik and Nandini got ready and came down to go to the Khuranas party.

Pia and Arjun were already waiting for them near the car.

Pia - Nandu ye kya? Tumne wo dress kyu nahi pehni Jo Maine Di thi?

Nandini-Di wo actually mai...

Saying this Nandini looked at Manik.

Manik came to her rescue and said-Pia actually i wanted Nandini to wear this saree.

Can't I expect my wife to wear something of my choice? Mai to tumhare liye bhi Kuch laya hoon.

With the Permission of Arjun I would like to gift this earrings.

Manik to Arjun - So Arjun may I?

Arjun - Ofcourse you can.

Manik gave the earrings to Pia and she wore it.

Manik - Ab chalein...

Pia - Yes. Let's go.

With this the four of them sat in the car and drove away to the party venue.

The four of them entered the party hall and were greeted by Mr.Khurana.

Manik introduced Nandini,Pia and Arjun to Mr.Khurana.

After a while, the birthday girl that is Khuranas daughter descended the stairs and came to Mr. Khurana.

Mr. Khurana introduced his daughter to Manik and Nandini.

Mr. Khurana (MK)- Manik... Meet my daughter Soha.

MK to Soha- Soha... Meet Mr . Malhotra and his wife Nandini.

Manik and Nandini - Hello Soha...

Soha completely ignored Nandini and said- Hello Mr. Malhotra. Pleasure meeting you.

Saying this Soha extended her hand .

Manik took Soha's hand for a handshake and said- HAPPY BIRTHDAY...

Nandini looked at Soha who smirked in return.

Then Soha went to meet other guests.

After a while , Soha cut the cake.

And everyone were called onto the dance floor.

Soha asked Manik for a dance but Manik very politely turned down the offer and took Nandini's hand walked to the dance floor along with Pia and Arjun.

This angered Soha but she controlled her anger .

The music(song) started.

Dekha hazaro dafa aapko

Phir bekarari kaisi hai

Sambhale sambhalta nahi yeh dil

Kuch pyaar mein baat aisi hai

(Manik and Nandini started to dance according to the beat of the song)

Lekar ijazat ab aap se

Saansein yeh aati jati hain

Dhoondhe se milte nahi hai hum

Bas aap hi aap baki hain

Manik held Nandini's waist and pulled her close to him)

Pal bhar na doori sahe aap se

Betabiyan yeh kuch aur hain

Hum door ho ke bhi paas hain

Nazdeekiyan yeh kuch aur hain

(Nandini rested her head on Manik's chest and Manik pulled her even close into his arms)

Dekha hazaro dafaa aapko

Phir bekarari kaisi hai

Sambhale sambhalta nahi ye dil

Kuch pyar mein baat aisi hai

(Pia and Arjun were just lost in each other swaying to the music)

Aagosh mein hain jo aapki

Aisa sukun aur paaye kahaan

Aankhein hamein raas aa gayi

Ab hum yahaan se jaaye kahan

(Manik and Nandini shared an eyelock)

Dekha hazaron dafa aapko

Phir bekarari kaisi hai

Sambhale sambhalta nahi ye dil

Kuch pyaar mein baat aisi hai

(Manik twirled Nandini twice and they got so lost in each other that they didn't realise that the music had stopped)

The claps of the guests brought them out of their dream world.

Manik and Nandini separated from each other and got off the dance floor.

Mr. Khurana introduced Manik to few of his friends and Pia Arjun were busy in their conversation.

So Nandini decided to have water as she felt thirsty.

She went to the bar and asked for water.

A person who was sitting there turned towards Nandini and said- Hi Nandini... So we meet again.

Nandini dropped the glass of water on seeing the person's face.

She had never expected to see the person ever again in her life. But the person was back.

Nandini ran out of the party hall.

Manik saw Nandini going out so he followed her.
