CHAPTER-104

Aarav n Khushi rushed to their room and closed the door .

Nandini- Aarav Khushi please open the door. Aap dono achche bachche ho na. Toh Achche bachche zid nahi karte.

Aarav n Khushi looked at each other and said- No Mumma aap pehle promise karo ki hume ek chota baby lakar dogi. Tabhi hum door kholenge.

Nandini- But Beta... Meri baat toh suno...

Aarav n khushi- Hume aapse baat nahi karni. We want Dadoo...

Nandini got worried.

Nandini- Mai abhi Dadoo ko call karti hoon but aap dono pehle door kholiye.

Aarav n Khushi slowly opened the door and Nandini came inside. Both the kids sat on the bed with puffed faces pretending to be angry.

Nandini came and sat in front of them .

Both the kids turned their faces in another direction.

Nandini- Itna gushhaaa... Mumma se baat nahi karoge aap dono.

The kids nodded their heads in a no.

Nandini- Acha ok. Aap dono jaisa kahoge waise hi hoga. Aapko baby brother chahiye na. Mumma lekar aayegi .

Aarav n Khushi- Plomish...

Nandini- Pakka promise.

Both the kids hugged Nandini and kissed her cheeks one by one.

Nandini smiled n kissed them back.

After breakfast, the kids went to play .

Nandini, Pia went to Padma who was busy in making a sweater for Pia's to-be-born child.

Both of them looked at each other and took a deep breath.

They went and sat near Padma.

Pia- Nandu tujhe yaad hai hum bachpan me tauji ke yahan jaya karte the...

Nandini - Haan Di kitna maza aata tha na wahan pe. Hum sab kitna khelte the.

Pia- Haan ... I wish hum dobara wahan jaa pate...

Padma heard her daughters conversation and kept the half complete sweater aside.

Padma- Ye tum dono ko achanak tauji ke ghar ki yaad kaise aagayi???

Pia- Amma pata nahi kyu mujhe village life dobara se experience karne ka mann kar raha hai. Agar aap kaho to hum log kuch dino ke liye waha ho aaye... Mai, Nandu , Aap aur Appa...

Nandini- Haa mujhe bhi jana hai . Chaltehai na Amma.

Padma- Nahi ... Mai us ghar me nahi jaungi. Aur tum log bhi nahi jaoge wahan. Samajh gaye...

Nandini- But kyu Amma???

Padma- Nandini... Zyada sawaal mat pucho . Mai keh rahi hoon na. Kya ye reason kaafi nahi hai?

Pia- Please Amma... For me.

Both Pia n Nandini made a puppy face pleading Padma to agree.

After a lot of hesitation, Padma said- Ok. Agar tum log itna zid kar rahi ho toh mai maan jaati hoon. But hum waha zyada din nahi rahenge. Aur waha jaane ke baat koi bhi mujhe kisi bhi baat ke liye force nahi karega. Na hi tum dono aur na hi tumhare Appa.

Nandini- Agreed...

Pia- Amma u are the bestest.

Pia and Nandini gave a tight hug to Padma and came out of the room.

Pia- Nandini lets go. Hume bahut saari packing karni hai. Aur ye good news Arjun aur Manik ko bhi to batani hai na.

Nandini- Haan Di let's go...

They went to Pia's room and got busy with the packing.

Nandini got a call from Manik.

Nandini- Hello Manik... Mujhe aapse kuch zaruri baat karni thi.

Manik- Zaruri baat baad me. First get ready and come out. Aarav Khushi ko bhi saath le aana. We are going out on lunch.

Nandini- Kya baat hai???Aaj bade ache mood me lag rahe ho. Koi khaas baat???

Manik- Haan khaas baat toh hai. Aaj meri beautiful wife aur kids pe bahut pyaar aaraha hai. Toh socha kahi baahar ghuma lau. Or better we go out alone without thd kids... Just u and me. What say???

Nandini- Mr. Malhotra... Aapke irade kuch nek nahi lag rahe hai. I have to be very careful around u.

Manik- Mrs. Malhotra... Jis aadmi ki wife itni pretty ho uske irade toh nek ho hi nahi sakte na.

Nandini- Manik... Aap bhi na...Mai Aarav- Khushi ko ready kar deti hoon. Jaldi aana. Can't wait to see u.

Manik- Will be there in 15 min. Love u...

Nandini- Love u too.

With this she hung up the call and got ready. Then she readied Aarav n Khushi.

Both Aarav n Khushi were very happy that they were going out with their parents.

Manik reached home and they drove off from there to McDonald's.

They occupied the table at extreme corner of the family section.

As they waited for the food to arrive, Aarav Khushi got busy in making paper planes of the tissue paper.

Meanwhile Manik and Nandini who were sitting right next to each other were busy adoring their kids.

Manik got an evil idea and he slid his hand under the table and traced the length of Nandini's thigh with his fingers. He started drawing patterns with his fingers giving Nandini a ticklish feeling.

Nandini held Maniks hand and gave an angry glare.

Manik- Whattt??? Dont give those looks. Tumhe toh pata hi tha ki mere irade nek nahi hai. Fir bhi u took the risk of going out with me.

Saying this he winked.

Nandini- Manik stop it na. Atleast not in front of the kids. Kya kar rahe ho???

Manik- Aren't u liking it. Tell me .

Nandini- Manikkk...

Manik- Yes tell me.

Nandini- Not here please...

Manik- Comeon Nandini...

He then looked at Nandini and said- Ok fine. Kitna sharmati ho yaar tum. Typical Indian wife.

Manik withdrew his hand from Nandini and looked away.

Nandini felt bad that she had disappointed Manik.

She came close to him and entwined their fingers to which Manik looked at Nandini who winked at him. Manik smirked on her antics and pressed her hand lightly.

The food arrived and all of them ate it with a lot of masti. Nandini and Manik fed the kids and the kids fed their parents.

Manik- Aarav Khushi... Time for icecream... Aaj aap dono ko jitni icecream khani hai khao. I won't stop u both.

Aarav n Khushi looked at Nandini and then at Manik and said- No Dadoo... we dont want icecream. We promised Mumma that we won't eat icecream if she brings us our baby brother and she agreed. If we eat ice cream then we won't be getting our baby brother.

Nandini's eyes widened in shock. She didn't want this to come out infront of Manik in such manner. She wanted to tell him in her own way. But the kids told everything to Manik.

Manik- What???

He looked at Nandini and said- Nandini... Is this true???

Nandini- Manik mai apko batane hi wali thi. But ...

Manik- We shall talk about this later in detail when we get back home. First let's have icecream.

Nandini could notice a hint of naughtiness in Manik's tone. She could sense what is to come next when they get back home.

Manik to kids- Aarav khushi... Dont worry... U can have icecream and ur baby brother both. Its my promise.So dont hesitate and eat as much icecream as u want.

After the kids finished their icecream, the four of them drove back to Murthy Mansion.

Pia was waiting for Nandini in the hall.

Pia- Nandu kaha chali gayi thi tu bina bataye???

Nandini- Di wo mai...

Pia- Acha wo sab chod. Maine saari packing kardi hai. Teri bhi aur bachcho ki bhi. Tu bas ek baar check karle. Hume aaj raat ko hi nikalna hoga.

Nandini- Ji Di. Mai check karloongi.

Manik - Ek min. What packing??? Kaha jarahe ho tum log???

Pia- Nandu tune jiju ko bataya nahi??? Jiju hum log Tauji ke gau jaarahe hai kuch din ke liye.

Manik- Oh . I see.

Nandini- Manik ... Mai apko batane hi wali thi... But...

Manik- Its ok Nandini. Tumne decide kar hi liya hai to batane ki kya baat hai.

Saying this Manik left from there to his room.

Nandini- Di... Ab mai kya karu. Manik gussa hogaye.

Pia- Nandu ... My sweet innocent sister. Jaake manao jiju ko. Ab galti ki hai to sudharni to padegi hi na. Go...

Manik was pacing to n fro in his room.

Manik- How can Nandini do this to me? Akele hi ye decision leliya aur mere baare me ek baar bhi nahi socha.

Nandini entered the room and walked upto Manik and held his hand.

Nandini- Manik please suniye to sahi... I have to go.

Manik jerked his hand and said- Kya sunu mai Nandini? No i won't allow u to do this. Tum aise kaise bolrahi ho. Are u even listening to what u r saying?

Nandini- Manik please... Its the only way out to sort this matter. I want u to support me in this.

Manik- But Nandini... I'll miss u. Please change ur decision... For me...

Phewww...
