Chapter 11 C
"And No cheating ok?" Nandini warned him to which he nodded smilingly. He was wondering what his cute wife going to do suddenly he felt a warm touch on his cheeks. Nandini kissed Manik on his cheeks and Manik opened his eyes in shock. He look towards Nandini she was blushing hard Manik was awestruck on her cuteness.
"Ufff Nandini..!! You blush too much..!!" Manik said lovingly. "Acha chalo now it's very late time to sleep..!!" Saying that Manik picked her up effortlessly in his arms and placed her on bed. Nandini was surprised on this.
"Manik i'll sleep on couch..!!" Nandini said and tried to get down of the bed. But Manik again push her on the bed.
"No..!! I'll sleep on the couch..!!" Manik said stubbornly.
"Ufff Manik..!! Have you seen your size? How will you fit on that choto couch..!!" Nandini asked.
"I'll manage..!!" Manik replied. Seeing his stubbornness Nandini frowned.
"Ok..!! I have and idea..!! We both will sleep on the bed..!!" Nandini said and Manik looked at her in shock.
"But Nandini..!!" Manik tried to object.
"It's ok Manik..!! I said na that I trust you..!! And as far as I know you..!! You respect me and without my consent you will not do anything..!!" Nandini smiled and Manik was more than happy another positive step for this relation was taken.
"Ok then..!!" Manik smiled. "You sleep I have a little work to do..!!"
Nandini smiled and lay down on the left side of the bed. Manik along with his laptop sat on the right side. Nandini was watching him Manik look at her leaned closer and gave her a peck on her forehead.
"Good night !" Manik said lovingly stroking her hair.
"Good night..!!" She also murmured and soon she was fast asleep Manik adjusted the blanket over her, resumed to his work.

"Papa..!! Drive fast na..!!" A girl of around 8 said in excitement.
"Honey it's a raining heavily...!! Very difficult to drive fast..!!" Man replied in a calm tone. But the girl was continuously distracting him with her cute talk. Suddenly a truck came from nowhere and the car crashed.
"Mama..!! Papa..!!" The girl tried to wake them up but in vain they were lying lifeless all drenched in blood.
"Mama..!! Papa..!!" Girl again screamed,she screamed continuously.
Then a boy snatched her Teddy bear she again cried "My teddy..!!" She screamed again.
When she heard a familiar male voice calling her "Nandini..!! Get up..!!"

It was almost midnight Manik was still working on his laptop. When he realized Nandini shaking badly he become worried and she was continuously crying in her sleep calling her Mama Papa and some teddy. Manik shut of his laptop and tried to wake her up.
"Nandini..!! Get up..!!" Manik tried to wake her. She was sweating heavily. Nandini opened her eyes and saw Manik without thinking further she hugged Manik and sobbed. Manik hugged her back.
"Manik..!! Blood..!! Blood..!! Mama Papa..!! Manik they..!! They left me..!!" She sobbed hiding her face in crook of his neck.
"Shhh Nandini..!! It was a bad dream..!! Relax honey..!!" Manik said lovingly running his fingers in her hair.
"They left me Manik..!! You will not leave me na?" Nandini asked. Manik could clearly sense the insecurity in her voice.
"I promise I will not leave you ok?" Manik assured her.
"And you know Manik that boy..!! He...He snatched my Teddy..!!" Nandini complained still sobbing. Manik was very surprised by hearing all this but he has to console her she was just like a baby.
"Then what..?? I'll buy you a new one..!! A bigger one..!!" Manik said rubbing her back. Nandini without breaking the hug look into his eyes with her teary eyes.
"Promise..??" Nandini said cutely.
"Paka promise..!!" Manik nodded and smiled. Nandini again hugged him and he himself felt like crying. He slowly made her lay on the bed still hugging her and wiped her tears. She slowly placed her head on his chest and Manik tighten his grip. Nandini slowly drifted to sleep. But Manik was thinking about Nandini.
"There is something..!! Regarding her childhood...!! Some bad memories which haunt her..!!" Manik thought "I have to make sure that Nandini share all this to me..!! And I think I should talk to the doctor about this..!!" Thinking all this Manik fell asleep.
