Chapter 1
Nayonika Malhotra was sitting in her bedroom doing some work on her laptop as usual.Suddenly the door knocked.She became annoyed.
"Come in" She said with a frown.
"Mam postman has brought this..!" Butler said and handed over her a Wedding Card.
Nayonika took the card and Butler quietly went from there.Nayonika saw the card It was red in color and the name of bride and Groom was written on it in bold italic witting.Nayonika smiled and opened it.The caption was:
"I Rishab Murthy is very much honored to invite you at the wedding of my beloved Sister "Nandini Murthy" with "Mayank Sharma". I hope that you will surely come and will give your blessings"
Nayonika was smiling reading the card when his impulsive son Manik Malhotra came in her room without knocking.Nayonika look at him and gave him a bright smile.
"Good Morning Mama...!!" He said with a cheerful voice and without warning he just hugged her and gave her a kiss on her cheek.Nayonika hugged him back.Manik sat on the sofa in front of her.
"So what's up pretty lady?" He asked and winked.
"Ummm nothing just checking my mails.Where were you last night?" She asked with a concern.
"Come on Mama..!! U know yesterday was Aliya's Birthday.So I was partying all night with all friends.What's a big deal?" He said with an irritating voice.
"Big deal? Seriously Manik? You think it's not a big deal?" She said with a frown. "I am telling you Manik this attitude of yours is now irritating me.You know how much I was worried for you.You were not picking up your phone.Atleast you can message me...!!And I also think that Alya is not good for you" She was continuously giving him typical Mothers lecture and he was hell irritated with this.To divert her attention he quickly snatched the card that she was still holding in her hand.And again sat on the sofa.He read the card.
"A wedding card hmmm..!! Who's marriage? Ohhh it's from Murthy's. This Rishab Murhty is your business partner right? His sister is getting married? Are u going to attend it?" He asked all the questions in one go.
Nayonika smiled. "Yes My business partner's sister "Nandini" and not only "me".Manik mentally patted himself as he succeeded in distracting her.
Nayonika continued:"We" are going to attend her marriage. As this marriage is held in Manglore so we are leaving this evening go and get your stuff packed...!!" Nayonika said all that with a normal tone and Manik's jaw dropped in shock.He opened his mouth to object her decisions.But Nayonika interrupted him.
"And before you said No to me don't forget that I can do worst to you If you will not come with me.I have lots of punishments like keep you grounded for a week.Or I will force you to join me with morning walk at 5 am in morning...!!"
Nayonika was blabbering about punishments about which Manik was sure that she will definitely apply on him if he denied her decision .All the cheer of his face vanished.Before Nayonika's speech get prolonged Manik Interrupted her.
"Mama..Mama..!! OK fine I will come with you..! But please no Punishments? Please? " Manik said making a baby face.And left the room for his so cold packing.
A victorious smile came on Nayonika's face. And she became happy as she can keep his "Bewakoof son" away from Alya at least for few days.Don't know why she never liked Alya for her son.

Manik was lying on his bed and was blabbering.
"Ufff Now I have to go on that stupid marriage huhhh. I can't refuse Mama. I know she will not take her decision back." He sighed and about to get up when his mobile rang. Caller ID was of Alya. Seeing that Manik prepared himself for a stupid explanation which he hates the most. He picked the call.Before he could say something Alya started speaking.
"Hi Baby..!! What's up? Are you free? Please come to my home na all of the friends are here?" Cheer was clear in her voice
"Alya actually I am going to Manglore.Ummm there is a marriage there. Mama wants me to accompany her. So I am leaving today's evening. I hope you won't mind." Manik explained everything in one go and then took a deep breath as he knew Alya's reaction will be worst which he never liked but always tolerated.
"What??? Manglore? You can't go like that. Refuse to your Mama" As always and as expected Alya's anger rose to seventh sky.
"Look Alya I can't refuse her. She very oftenly asks me for something.So I am leaving today. See you after three days. Bye..!!" Saying that he hung up the call to avoid more argue as he knew that argue will lead to a monstrous fight.And he took out his bag from Almirah and started packing his stuff.

"Bhabhi...!! Shall I wear blue or red for tonight's Dholki? I think red will be good. Hai na?" Nandani waved both of her dresses in front of her bhabhi who was busy in cooking.
"Nandu come on dear...!! All colors look perfect on you and If you are really asking me then I also think you should wear red as it is Mayank's favorite color...!!" Her bhabhi replied while cutting vegetables."And now excuse me..!! I have lots of work to do as you know Malhotra's will be here anytime soon...!! If dinner will not get ready on time na your Bhaiya will get annoyed which I don't want" Saying that she almost push her from her way and turn On the stove.
"Malhotra's..?? You mean Nayonika aunty? Is she coming alone? " As always Nandini bombarded her Bhabhi with lots of questions.
"Ufff Nandu you ask so many questions. Yes Nayonika Aunty and her son "Manik" Now please go and get ready..!!" Saying that she again got busy in her work.
"Hmmm Manik Malhotra...!!" Nandani thought to herself. And went to her room to get ready.
