Chapter 11 A

After finishing Alya's chapter Manik went to his office to finish some pending work. But how can anyone concentrate on his work when he has a beautiful wife at home.

"What are these feelings? Why should I am continuously thinking about Nandini? I had never felt like this with Alya..!! Am I in love?" Manik's heart and mind were fighting. Meanwhile Manik thought of calling Nandini. He took out his cell phone and remembered that he don't even have Nandini's cell number.

"Ohhh freak..!! I think I am the only husband in this whole world who don't has his wife's cell number..!!" Manik murmured in frustration.

Nandini was cooking. She cooked a lot of dishes desi and Chinese. Because it was the first time Manik himself had asked Nandini to cook something and it felt really very special. She also decided to bake a cake for Manik. She was beating the cake's batter when landline phone started buzzing. Nandini run to pick it up.

"Hello..!!" Nandini said pantingly.

"Nandini? Why are you breathing heavily? Are you ok?" She heard her caring husband's voice full of concern.

"Manik m ok it's just i run to pick up the phone..!! You tell me? When are you coming?" Nandini asked cheerfully.

"Ohh Thank God you are ok..!! Yeah i am just on my way back to home...!!" Manik said in a relaxed voice. "Are you waiting for me?" Manik asked naughtily.

"Of course..!!" Nandini said and blushed.

"Ok then I'll be there soon..!!" Saying that Manik hung up.

Manik bought a bouquet of red roses on his way back to home. He parked the car and entered the Mansion.Manik heard the sound from kitchen.

"OMG..!! Is she still cooking?" Manik frowned. And rushed towards the kitchen. When he entered the kitchen the site in from of him make him froze on his place. He saw Nandini standing in sky blue saree. Hair tied in a messy bun. She was fully concentrated on doing the frosting on the cake even in that messy state she was looking adorable. Manik slowly walked towards her and hugged her from behind and placed his chin on her shoulder,closed his eyes to which Nandini gasped in surprise.

"Manik..!!" Nandini said surprisingly.

"Hmmm..!!" Manik said still closing his eyes.

"Acha..!! Let me go na..!!" Nandini said struggling to get free from his grip. "I have to frost this cake..!!See cream is melting..!!"

Manik left her and saw cream on her cheek,it made Manik more crazy. Before Nandini could resume to her work Manik again held her waist and pull her closer to which Nandini again got surprised.

"You have got something on your cheek..!!" Manik said huskily and leaned closer to her she closed her eyes due to shyness. Manik slowly moved towards her cheek and gently licked the cream.Before that Manik's gestures made her collapse Nandini held Manik's shoulder for support. Manik then pluck a flower from the bouquet and adjusted in her bun. After that he left her. And then gave her the remaining bouquet.

"Wow..!! Red roses..!!" Nandini exclaimed with joy. "Is that for me?"

"Ni..!! It's for neighbor aunty...!!"Manik said naughtyly and Nandini gave him a confusing look."Of course pagal it's for you..!!" Manik chuckled and Nandini smiled.

"OK now go and get fresh..!! Dinner is ready..!!" Nandini push him out of the kitchen,and Manik frustratedly went to his room.

In these days Manik had realized that Nandini was not much expressive. Because whenever he passed some romantic comments to her she just blush or smiled,moreover she wasn't that much talkative,she was reserve. But now a first step of their relation had accomplished that was "trust" which was very important at least for Manik,as now he was more than clear that he can't survive without Nandini and he was not gonna leave her that's final,more than that Manik was thinking that he love her which was more important. About Nandini still he wasn't sure that she love him or she had forget Mayank or not but one thing was that she trust him. Manik didn't want to express his feelings soon because he wanted to take things slow. First he wanted Nandini to be comfortable with him in all ways.

Manik came downstairs and saw Nandini arranging dishes on the dining table. His eyes popped out in surprise seeing more than 10 kinds of dishes.

"Nandini..?? Koi aur bhi aa raha h kya dinner k liye?" Manik asked with a taunt and Nandini being Nandini didn't understood his taunt and became confused.

"No..!!" Nandini said in a confusion.

"Then why do you cook so much food?" Manik asked worriedly.

"Uffoo Manik you talk too much..! Come and sit see it's all for you..!!" Nandini said excitedly and grabbed Manik's hand,made him sit on the chair.

"But Nandini..!! I can't eat all this..!!" Manik tried to object. He was cursing the moment when he asked her to cook for him.

"Manik..!! Chup and eat..!!" Nandini ordered him and Manik made face. For about an hour Nandini stuffed Manik's mouth with all the dishes.

"Nandini...!! Enough..Please I can't eat more please..! Do some mercy I am your husband..!!" Manik said pleadingly.

"But Manik Itna thora khaya h..! Please a little more..!!" Nandini tried to dish out some rice for him but Manik held her hand. He has to do something to distract her. Manik pull Nandini she imbalanced and fell on his lap,Nandini gasped and held his collar. Manik smirked and tighten his grip. She blushed and lowered her head. Manik saw her messy bun and the rose in it. He slowly pulled the rose and the clip Nandini's hair fell open.

"I am telling you this for the last time..!!" Manik said huskily. "Whenever I am around you don't you dare to tie your hair..!! And you know this rose..!! It's nothing in front of you..!! You are beautiful..!" Saying that Manik touched the rose with her cheek,and Nandini blushed.

"Manik..!!" Nandini said looking straight in his eyes.

"Hmmm..!!" Manik said tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Thank you..!!" She said touching his cheeks for the first time and Manik was like feeling out of this world.

"Thank you for what Nandini..??" Manik said holding her hand on his cheek.

"For everything..!!" Nandini smiled.

"Hmmm you don't have to say this Nandini..!!" Manik said gently stroking her cheeks. "I know the way we married was very awkward..!! But I have moved on me and Alya we broke up..!! And I am expecting the same from you...!! You will also try na? For me..!! At least give this relation a chance..!!" Manik said as Nandini could clearly sense the doubt in his voice. Don't know why she felt unknown relaxation when Manik said that he had broke up with Alya. Manik has cleared all her doubts. Now it's was her turn to clear his.

"I will try Manik..!! You know Mayank was my past. And you..!! She looked in

his eyes lovingly. "You are my present..!! And my future..!!" Nandini smiled. "I am ready to give a chance to this relation..!!" Manik was overwhelmed with her confession. But there was another doubt in Manik's mind which he wanted to clear,but in his point of view it wasn't the right time,as he didn't wanted to spoil her mood.

"Manik..??" Nandini shook his shoulder "What happened? What are you thinking?" Nandini inquired politely.

"Umm Nothing it's just I am thinking that I have eaten so much for you..!! Now you also have to do something for me na?" Manik said to lighten up the mood and smirked.

"Acha..?? What should I do?" Nandini asked excitedly. Manik again smiled on her cuteness and leaned closer. He gently traced her lips with his thumb and Nandini closed her eyes. Manik moved closer their lips were inches apart but Nandini was too much shy and she immediately hugged Manik which was a clear indication for Manik that she was not ready at least not now. Manik smiled on her innocence and hugged her back. He decided to wait for her until she herself gave in,moreover there were lots of things which he wanted to know about her. Suddenly Nandini broke the hug and got up from his lap.She slapped her forehead as if she had forgot something and Manik frowned as he was loving this having her in his arms.

"What is this Nandini..!! Not fair..!!" Manik said annoyingly.

"Uffooo Manik I forgot the sweet dish..!!The Cake..! You just wait here I'll be back...!! Saying that Nandini rushed to kitchen to get the cake. Manik again made faces. No doubt the food was really very tasty but that was too much. He wanted to run away from there to avoid the cake but for Nandini he waited. Soon Nandini happily come with the cake and Manik give her a fake smile.Cake was beautifully decorated. It was looking delicious. Nandini immediately cut a piece and served Manik.

"Manik eat na? And tell me how's it?" Nandini said excitedly. Manik was too much full even to look at any eatable but for Nandini he took a spoon and with a heavy heart he take a bite but after tasting it he wasn't sure it was a cake it wasn't sweet it was salty,near to be bitter,he immediately realized that in spite of adding sugar she accidentally added salt.Manik swallowed it with great difficulty.

"Manik how's it?" Nandini asked. Manik saw the shine in her eyes so he didn't want to spoil that.

"It's delicious...!!" Manik said smilingly. Manik closed his eyes and within seconds he eat the whole piece. And after that he drank a glass full of water to swallow. Nandini was looking at him with too much excitement.

"Manik..!! Is that taste so good that you finished the whole piece within seconds?" Nandini asked smilingly.

"Yeah..!! It really taste good..!! It was yummy..!!" Manik lied smilingly.

"Really? Wow..!! Then I will taste too..!!" Saying that Nandini was about to cut the piece. When suddenly Manik held her hand.

"No..!!" Manik shouted,because he knew that if Nandini will taste the cake his lie would me caught.

"Haww Manik..?? Why??" Nandini asked surprisingly.

"Woo..!! You made this for me na? Then only I have the copyright to eat this..!!" Again he lied.

"Awww Manik you are so sweet..!! But I promise bus thora sa..!!" Nandini smiled. Manik tried his best to stop Nandini from eating the cake but she was so stubborn after a lot of arguments Nandini took a bite and Manik palmed his face and got ready for the worst.

"Yukhiii..!!! It taste so bad..!!" Nandini spit it out. "Manik how did you ate that?" Nandini frowned. "You were saying that it's tasty..?" Suddenly Nandini understand "You lied to me? How could you Manik..!!" Nandini asked almost crying and left from there tapping her foot. Manik smiled and went after her.

Chapter 11 B

Manik entered the room but Nandini was not there. Suddenly he heard her sobs from the terrace. He went there and saw her sitting on the floor head on her knees no doubt she was looking cute. Manik slowly sit beside her and tangled his hand with hers but she was in a bad mood,she jerked his hand and Manik laughed.

"Stop laughing Manik..!!" Nandini said angrily. "I am really really mad at you..!!" Nandini said and made pout. Manik was just admiring her.

"Reason..?" Manik asked lovingly wiping her tears.

"Because you lied..!! There was not need to eat that tasteless cake..!!" Nandini replied angrily.

"Nandini I lied for you..!! You know that's why I was stopping you to eat the cake..!! I didn't wanted to spoil your mood..!!" Manik replied smilingly.

"Huhhh..!! I am not talking to you..!!" Saying that Nandini turned her face. Now it was a big task for Manik to set Nandini in mood. Suddenly he got up and went into the room. Nandini's gaze followed him. Then Nandini saw him coming out with his guitar.

"Manik you know how to play guitar?" Nandini asked cutely.

"Hahaha..!! Why? You think I am just a handsome face..!!" Manik smirked. "And remember you tried to broke it..!!" Manik teased Nandini,and she lowered her head in embarrassment. Manik again laughed. Slowly Manik started playing the chords and sung.

(Manik looked towards Nandini and winked to which Nandini smiled)

(Manik leaned with the terrace wall and sung)

Baatein reh gayi adhoori

Mere labon pe zaroori

Aake sun jaao mere soneya

(Nandini got up and walked towards him)

Tere bin.. nahi laage jiyaa
Tere bin.. ab to aaja piyaa
Tere bin.. nahi laage jiyaa..

(Manik sang nodding his head to which Nandini also nodded smilingly)

Pehle jaise mausam bhi aate nahi hai
Baarishon mein pehle jaisi baatein nahi hai

(Manik make a sad face while singing his face expressions complementing the lyrics and sing)

Sookhe sookhe alfaaz, khali khali mere
haathon ki laqeerein bulaave soneya..

(Manik held Nandini's hands and look at them there was still his name written by mehndi he smiled seeing them)

Tere bin.. nahi lage jiya
Tere bin.. ab to aaja piya
Tere bin.. nahi laage jiya..

(Manik twirled her and danced with her to which Nandini coporated equally)

Ho..
Chaand bhi wahin hai, wahin hai sitaare
Tere baad pheeke pheeke lagte hain saare

(Manik made her look towards the sky and look into her eyes that he really mean it and sing)

Aaja leke tu savere kar ja door andhere
Teri doori tadpaave soneya

(Manik pulled her closer and she rested her head on his chest)

Tere bin.. nahi lage jiya
Tere bin.. ab to aaja piya
Tere bin.. nahi laage jiya.

(Manik finished,kept his guitar aside and held Nandini closer.)

After Manik finished Nandini broke the hug,clapped and jumped on her place in excitement.

"Wow Manik..!! You sung so well..!!" Nandini said excitedly.

"Ahan I am glad that you liked it..!!" Manik smiled on her excitement.

"Acha Manik close your eyes na?" Nandini said hesitantly.

"Hain? But why?" Manik rolled his eyeballs.

"Please?" Nandini made a cute face seeing that it was impossible for Manik to say no to her. And he closed his eyes.
