Loved your posts 🤗

Charu: Waiting for your views. 😊

Sayeri: Hope your PC is fine soon. 😊

Abhay: True, Hamida can have her own views, different from Jalal's. She may feel why face the brunt of the Shah or appear ungrateful - it would be easier to go along with his views.

But Abhay, I don't like the inconsistency. If she really felt so strongly about the Shah's favors, she should have spoken out earlier and not waited for so much water to flow under the bridge. Jalal has been asking her views right from the beginning. If she kept her peace till now, she should continue to do so now also. I don't like people who keep quiet till the very end and then pipe up objections at the last minute.

If she is talking like a grandmother upset over Khannum's engagement falling thru, she should still show faith in Jalal's pronouncement that he would get a better match for his daughter. If she doesn't have faith in him, how can she expect anyone else to have faith in him?

If she is thinking like a queen, agreed no one wants a war. But she has to think from all angles. How will conversion of a chief queen go down in public? Such a decision will force many of the subject to convert. Would she accept that? She also has to understand that it is not wise for an emperor to appear to be under the thumb of another ruler.

Thanks Radhika.

Regarding HB, I agree completely with you...Exactly why I was surprised with her decision too.

Abhay,

Finally got a chance to watch today's episode. Spent a good part of the evening, at the Vets office tending to my dog's injured paw.

Today's episode was an awesome one. Saw the Shehenshah in action after a long time. This is the Akbar that I have been wanting to see since ages. Liked the NR too. I am hoping for this trend to continue.

There are a couple of scenes that stood out today.

The scene where Sharifuddin's father received a punishment befitting his crime was a very good one. A quietly furious Jalal capturing the old man and unflinchingly drowning him forcibly, for attempting to kill his Jodha Begum was a treat to watch. I did not feel an ounce for sympathy for Mehtaab's grandfather who had unhesitatingly advised his son to get rid of the innocent infant for no fault of hers.

That Salim loves and respects his parents was clearly visible today. He is upset with them, finds it hard to communicate with and relate to them, behaves inappropriately with them while under the influence of 'ammijaan' and 'afeem', yet holds them in high esteem. It is the affection for his mother that made him inquire about her well being. The manner in which he reassured his worried mother, citing his father's prowess as an able warrior stood out today. His confident words were uttered in a measured tone, almost immediately after Jodha expressed her worry about Jalal's whereabouts. I maybe wrong but I noticed a tinge of sadness and regret in Jalal's face, while conversing with Salim. I felt that the father in Jalal knows that he has unwillingly hurt his son. I loved the scene that had father, mother and son in it. For once, they had a normal conversation without fighting.

The scene between Hamida Begum and Jalal where she is quoting examples from the past to convince Jalal not to enter war with the Shah of Iran was a great one. Loved Jalal's conviction when he very calmly, firmly and politely tells his mother that he will not tolerate the Shah's manipulative tactics in his personal matters, anymore, He clearly tells his mother that it is wrong to force anyone to accept Islam against their wishes and to do so would be an insult to Islam itself. I loved Jalal's firm stand in the matter of religion. I am also surprised to see that the Creatives did not shy away from showcasing a sensitive issue like this. Both mother and son were good in that scene.

The scene where Jalal tells Jodha that he is knowingly pitting the three brothers against each other in the battlefield hoping that they will learn to help each other made me feel sad for Jalal. He is fully aware of Murad's lack of experience and shortcomings in the battlefield even though he had to declare him Saha-i-shah due to tricky circumstances. He is hoping that Murad will learn war strategies from Salim who has been trained by Raja Maan Singh and Rahim.

I have intentionally not discussed Rukaiyya's character. Like she herself said today, she doesn't have to do much to cause Jodha trouble. External forces are doing the job for her. How much more can the Creatives stoop in degrading her character.

The plot is moving well and I hope that the Creatives do not attempt to include any of the daily soap theme suddenly into the storyline and ruining the effect.

very power pack episode, like the way jalal worry for jodha weel and almost ignoring ruq, when salima told him that the poison meant for jodha he run away from there to check his belove begum, and how he ask moti to make sure jodha safety.
like father like son i guess this sharif dad not learn from mistake that no one can mess with jodha, jalal will destroy everyone and everything who try to harm jodha.

poor jodha now her religion make a huge problem for her sometimes i feel sorry for her because she is really a kind heart human being but God give her so much trouble and pain 🥱, but what i like is that everytime jodha and jalal got tested by huge problem they become close and the relationship become strong, just like in God track how jodha support jalal no matter what and help him to gain back the people trust and now jalal support jodha and defend her from people who want to make jodha convert her religion, jodha and jalal are the strength to each other, they become the rock for each other, and these day these two spend time together a lot, and couple time jodha come to jalal and help him to dress up or help him change dress 😉, and today in chess scene they are spend time again 😃

Aww, hope your dog is well now?

Loved the sensitive way in which you described the family scene of Jalal, Jodha and Salim. Your views are right. Each is stuck in his / her own groove and unable to break free. There is underlying love but buried under misunderstandings and hurt feelings. None of them really knows how to reach out and embrace the other person. But in times of stress, it is impossible to stay away either.

Hamida is quite unpredictable. She gets hassled by circumstances easily. Then she goes by what the circumstances dictate and not by her own interpretation / understanding of people.

Even in Jodha's FP case, she had started believing that Jodha was guilty of cheating on Jalal.

Jalal usually has more faith than Hamida at least in the people close to him.

yes radhika hamida quite unpredictable, and yes i remember jodha's fp case

now if jalal know hamida force jodha to convert dont know what will happen, now its like jalal jodha against the world 😉😆

actually its second time salim show his concern over his mother, once when jodha hand got hurt by ruq in sword fight competition and now this, deep inside salim still love his mother but his missunderdtanding to jodha prevent his love to come, and i agree that lots unspoken words from this family and agree that jalal know he hurt salim unitentionally, i hope cv bring this family together again and it would interesting what will salim and jalal will do when they find out the truth bout ruq ?

Thank you Radhika.

Yes, my youngest child, is fine. His left paw is in a 'cast', he is wearing an Elizabethan collar,( to prevent him from licking the affected area and also ripping up the cast ) that he despises. He looks sad, confused and cute.

Today's episode stood out from all the episodes since Monday. Applying good dramatization, I wish the Creatives show the relations between Salim and Jodha improving. The impediment in the form of Rukaiyya, needs to be eliminated.

Yes Abhay, yesterdays episode was too good.. though no romantic scenes were there it was very fast moving episode. many things happened. Salims concern for Jodha was good but I hated the fact that he went first to Rukiaya and not to Jodha. Hamida will force Jodha to change her religion. Jo will be in a dilemma but will succumb to Hamida's wish. But if she changes her religion it will be a defeat for Jalal . I liked the way Jalal spoke to HB, He was so firm but yet showed his respect to her but did not bow to her wishes. That is the level of love and respect we wish to see between Jodha and Salim as well.
And once it was good to see Jalal using his brains and following the maid to reach the real culprit. All in all lot happened and lot of drama to be expected. Yesterday no SANAR scenes was another good thing.

One more thing came to my mind about Rukaiya begum. She may try to take everything from Jo.. whatever Jo likes..she tries to take that.. but one thing she can never take from Jo is Jalal's "Dil". Whatever she may do she will never get it.. Thats the only thing that is precious for Jo..

And I hope Salim will also realise one day about Rukaiyas intentions like Jalal realised about Maham.

One more doubt. Abhay.. I had read somewhere that When Jodha gave birth to Salim.. before she was officially given Marium-Zamani title.. she had to convert to Islam.. Is that true? She converted to Islam and if you some images of MUZ with Akbar which are there on the net..Jodha is wearing Mughal clothes and not rajasthani attire.. I also had one more doubt that is it because she converted to Islam... whenever she visited Amer after that she was not treated properly.? Radhika, ABhay, please give your inputs. Anyone who has knowledge about this can write. These are just doubts..I am not so sure of this.
