But i guess, Vishkanya will be sent to kill Jalal.

Since Sharif's father is dead.
Hence, some other villain ? Can you think of any one here ?

Abhay

1. Haider's accomplice who keeps instigating Murad
2. Mirza Hakim - if the CVs are interested in showing him as a constant thorn in Jalal's side
3. Shah-i-Iran
4. A new villain

If it's a new villain, then I hope the present track is closed before the Vishkanya track is started.

Jalal also won't agree.
Ultimately, CV's are trying every possible means to keep this religious angle in lime light.

Abhay and Harshu

Actually whatever happened in history, the CVs can't show conversion of Jodha because that would mean Jalal accepting "defeat" and "bowing down" to Shah-i-Iran.

The CVs like to show that everything is going against Jalal (andJodha) and they literally claw their way back from the brink of annihilation for maximum impact. We saw this in the God track also where Jalal was hated a lot by the people and he had to go to great lengths (even get whipped) to get his authority over people back. The same tactic is being used again.

Everyone will want Jodha to convert for various reasons. The awaam will turn against Jalal and Jodha. Then in the very end, Jalal will be shown to emerge victorious with a rousing speech.

Since the CVs are not shying away from the religious angle, I wish they had had the courage to show a passing reference at least to Ibadat Khana, religious discussions with people of various faiths etc.

May be it can be shown as part of NR that in order to put down the Shah-i-Iran, Akbar started the haj pilgrimage from Surat via the Arabian Sea and sent royal women on the first pilgrimage by sea.

He killed khwaja moin like a raging lion. And Ruqaiya became a popat today she was expecting Jalal will hugg her to comfort her but jalal didnt even ask about her, bechari salima k gale lag gayi is dukhse.Liked Shehzadi Khanum too, the way she supported her father. Jalal jodha chess scene was nice, a certain level of comfortance is there in their relation, and parijat potray it very well. God knows what has happened to hamida, if someone did a favour in past , doesnt mean we grant every unfair wish of that person. Liked the way Jalal handled her, he refused her but with utmost respet. Salim should learn this manners immediately. Well my question is that, if khwaja moin is dead, then who will send that poison girl, who is about to enter the show? And why our writerbabu is talking about dayen aka witch? I hope they dont show crap things like a dayen coming hypnotising jalal, it will be too much to endure in a historical show

Sayeri

Yes, I liked the way Khannum stood up for her father's principles at the cost of her own marriage. 👏 Those days, it was tough for royalty to find suitable grooms for a princess. Though Hamida Banu was unnerved by the breakup of the alliance, Khannum was unwavering in her support to her father.

Her brothers should learn from her how to respect and support parents.

The 1570s and 1580s were so FULL of events in Akbar's life. There is so much to show and all the CVs can think of is a vishkanya. Fine, such girls were sent to attack Akbar but we have already been there earlier. Why repeat the same again as if there was a dearth of plots? 😕

I am hopeful that Salim will come closer to his mother at least in the show - may be after Anar's exit. If Ruq is exposed in front of him, then he may learn that only his mother thinks well of him and not others like Ruq ammijaan.

Jalal also took time to come close to Hamida Banu. I am always hopeful that things will turn out well in future. 😊

It was a pleasure to watch Jalal rushing to ensure his Jodha was well, instructing Moti to take care of her, asking Jodha to stay in her room only and then finding out and finishing off the man behind the saazish.

Like I said in a post on previous thread, Sharif's father was a fool in believing that he could close the issue by removing Jodha from the scene, without understanding that if anything happened to Jodha, Jalal would become a wounded tiger and move heaven and earth to punish the guilty.

Why just Sharif's father? Look at Shah-i-Iran's case.

Jalal is incensed that the Shah wants Jodha to change her religion. Apart from all other reasons for Jalal to get angry with the Shah's interference and "bossiness", it is the fact that Jodha is being victimized here which Jalal cannot bear. Ever since the issue cropped up, he has ensured he spends more time with her, reassures her of his support at all times and is ready to take on even members of his family for daring to suggest conversion.

This is perhaps the recurrent theme in all popular tracks from JA - Jalal's unswerving support to Jodha, no matter what anyone says. 😊

Yeah, it was a terrific episode. Today I enjoyed watching the only 2 shows I watch these days :)

1. Salima Begum spoiled the party for me today. Oh, why did she have to stop Ruq? 😭 The poor maid - no one spared her a thought. Everyone was busy comforting Ruq... Hamida Banu didn't even bother to meet Jodha and inquire about her well-being, though she rushed to see Ruq. Salim too first went to Ruq ammijaan and then came to Jodha.

I satisfied myself by thinking that he came at least now.

I remember the earlier scenes of Hamida Banu and Jalal. Hamida always greeted Jalal with a kiss on the forehead. I wonder why Jodha and Salim don't meet like a typical mother-son.

it would be awkard to look jodha or jalal kiss salim forehead since salim look older than them 😆

This constant rattle of MEH and SS for his parents is so irritating with regard to Salim's dialogs. 😡 When Jalal mentioned he was glad that Salim was with his mother, he replied something like it was his duty as a prince. !! Sheesh!!!

3. How come so many of Jalal's men couldn't catch the maid who brought the shawl, but the hawk-eyed Salima Begum could just look and catch sight of her, scurrying away??

is it posssible jalal's men didint know how the maid face but since salim saw her so she can recognize her ?

It was indeed a treat and a shock too to watch Jalal actually PUNISH someone...And that too, with so much feeling /passion...

4. Salim was a changed man today. Sometimes I seriously think this Salim has multiple personality disorder. 😆

salim and cv both has multiple personality disorder 😆😆

8. I mentioned this in yesterday's thread also. Why is Hamida suddenly worried about maintaining relations with the Shah?

She was initially against Jodha's conversion and asked Jalal to decide course of events. She didn't say anything when Sheikh Mubarak was reminding Jalal about the Shah's favors to the Mughals. She was quite approving when Salim announced in DEK that Akbar should take decision on his own and not be dictated to by the Shah.

MM has amnesia hahaha, very strange that hamida who always support jodha suddenly for jodha to convert to islam 😲

Abhay, can MM go against the decision of the emperor?

10. Khudabanda??!! He was a weak and ineffective ruler. Here he is strong and "independent." At least I know his name now 😆

11. Yes, I also feel (in fact, earlier also I felt) that Hamida really wants Jodha to convert this time. But the CVs have introduced this most inconsistently. If they wanted this, then right from the beginning of the track, they should have shown Hamida siding with the Shah.

Precap: that's it! This scene should have been avoided. The brothers were fighting like roadside ruffians today...

Abhay, yeah, you are right - today's episode was something we could sink our teeth into - it had a great deal of substance and the story is moving well despite the NR. Let's hope this continues . till end of track.😊

Sindhu, Bea, Aadhya

Loved your posts 🤗

Charu: Waiting for your views. 😊

Sayeri: Hope your PC is fine soon. 😊

Abhay: True, Hamida can have her own views, different from Jalal's. She may feel why face the brunt of the Shah or appear ungrateful - it would be easier to go along with his views.

But Abhay, I don't like the inconsistency. If she really felt so strongly about the Shah's favors, she should have spoken out earlier and not waited for so much water to flow under the bridge. Jalal has been asking her views right from the beginning. If she kept her peace till now, she should continue to do so now also. I don't like people who keep quiet till the very end and then pipe up objections at the last minute.

If she is talking like a grandmother upset over Khannum's engagement falling thru, she should still show faith in Jalal's pronouncement that he would get a better match for his daughter. If she doesn't have faith in him, how can she expect anyone else to have faith in him?

If she is thinking like a queen, agreed no one wants a war. But she has to think from all angles. How will conversion of a chief queen go down in public? Such a decision will force many of the subject to convert. Would she accept that? She also has to understand that it is not wise for an emperor to appear to be under the thumb of another ruler.

Hamida is quite unpredictable. She gets hassled by circumstances easily. Then she goes by what the circumstances dictate and not by her own interpretation / understanding of people.

Even in Jodha's FP case, she had started believing that Jodha was guilty of cheating on Jalal.

Jalal usually has more faith than Hamida at least in the people close to him.
