Jodha Akbar 16th April 2015 A power packed episode..Analysis updt-Pg1

Following things happened.
A fantastic episode, along with NR in play.!.
I liked it MORE than yesterday's..


1.
Salima Begum stops the Maid on time.
Ruqs saved.
Butr maid dies.

Jalal enters the scene, along with HB.
Jalal understands that there was some saazish.

Hoshiyar sent to search that maid.



2.
Moti informs Jodha about the saazish.
Jalal enters the hojra and asks her to stay in Hojra.



3.
Jalal allows that maid to escape and asks his soldiers to allow escape.
Later he follows her to her destination, with Rahim and Fazl..

Sharif's father kills the maid.
Jalal enters the destination and catches Sharif's father.
His eyes were burning in rage.
A fight scene.

Guys, watch this scene.
Seldom villains are punikshed in JA.
And, today it was a treat, the manner in which Jalal bashes Sharif's father..

He holds him by his neck and kills him by drowning him in the water in the pond.!!!

Back to palace.
Jodha's hojra..
Salim comes to meet Jodha in her Hojra.

He asks about her well being.
He says - He was worried about her health.
He says - He was in Hojra of Ruqs. :-P

He asks why is she worried.
She tells she is worried about Shahenshah.
Salim tells His father is the Shahenshah and is enough, SINGLY, on an entire army. He will manage anyone.

Salim was speaking positive about Akbar and Jodha today. 😲



5.
HB

Shah i Iran sends a letter for HB.
HB reads it and gets shocked.
Scene ends.


6.
Harem

Salima Begum reads the message which was sent to HB by Shah i Iran.

The message says - Shah i Iran has got the marriage of Khannum Sultan which was fixed with a prince of another kingdom, cancelled by his influence.

Jalal in rage.
He asks Salima to stop reading that message.

DEk scene..

Akbar announces a full fledged open revolt against Iran..
He asks Murad, Salim and Danial, to take part in this war, along with him, which he will conduct in person..

He asks TM to send message to all the kingdoms and subedars and mansabdars to Mughal Sultanate to send their soldiers to take part in this war.




8.
Akbar and Jodha in their hojra.
A fine scene.

Akbar is looking at a chess board. He says he is taking all these together on war, so that they fight FOR EACH OTHER, together..

On the other hand, GB says to Hb that this matter is wrong.
HB says FIRMLY she will stop all this.
HB says - She will stop Jalal and will interfere in this matter.



9.
Ruqs hojra.
She asks Hoshiyar to get sweets.
She is happy because Jalal is conductin due to Jodha.

She wants every one should understand that the fight is because of Jodha.
Hence the aawam will hate Jodha.
So she is happy.



10.
HB comes to meet the messengers of Shah i Iran.

The present ruler of Iran is Shah Khubabanda.
They announced this name today also.

They say - All this war will happen due to Jodha only.
Only if she changes her religion, then this war can be stopped.



11.
Scene of HB and Jalal in a hojra.

Both watch a painting of Humayun.
He says he missed his father.

She says - Shah Tahmasp of Iran had helped his father. So, he should respect those people. And should not fight with Shah i Iran.

Jalal says - This friendship of Shah Tahmasp has been broken by his son, Shah Khudabanda. He says, the war was started by Iran but it would be ended by him..

He unanimously declares - I wont BOW before anyone. I WILL FIGHT. I won't listen to you this time.

Jalal leaves.

HB says - If that is the case, then i have only one option left.

I feel, that promo is true. HB will genuinely force Jodha to convert.

Precap:

Both Murad and Salim fight with each other.
Akbar enters in shock and anger, he stops them.


Bottomline:

A powerful episode packed with NR, but too good. Should be watched. CV's are NOT shying away from exploiting this religious angle. Today was more about politics and less romance, maximum episode was for Akbar. Jodha had a bit less footage. But, I enjoyed it completely. In fact, i enjoyed it more than yesterday because this episode had substance.

Rarely a 'historical' show follows history these days. JA is at least hovering some where close to it. I am fine with the proceedings, as of now.


These days Jodha Akbar is of 40 minutes, starting 7:50 PM.

Few NR's and a reminder...




NR number - 1

Now, this scene of killing Sharif's dad by drowning him in water, is borrowed from history and is depicted here with NR in play.

Actually, Akbar had got two orthodox Ulemas killed in this manner around 1580.
You can read it here..This was mentioned few months back, on the blog.

In short, a Qazi of Jaunpur and Bengal were killed in this manner, who were instigating revolt against Akbar, and were hand in glove with rebellious elements.




NR number - 2

Another NR in play here.
Khannum Sultan was not the daughter whose marriage was decided with another ruler.
She was born few months after Jahangir in 1569.

It was Firoz Khannum whose "marriage talks" were happening with a ruler of Badakshan, not of Khannum Sultan. Firoz was not married to him. She was born in 1575.

And this Shah-i-Iran episode happened in 1577-79.
So, you can understand by the timleine , this part was NR. Even if CV's show Khannum Sultan or Firoz Khannum, then also, going by the age, the marriage talk is NR.

BTW, CV's have NOT shown Firoz in the show.
They have only shown Khannum Sultan.

loved the epi good cv's are showing bits of history rajat rocked today loved him in all scenes ya very well said seldom are villians punished,good they did'nt show akbar stupid .loved the last also of HB the way jalal showed respect was truly good .

ThanQ Abhay for update. we too liked the episode. instead of harem politics and ruq's crying over jalal for what had happened etc the show became little bit serious and the scenes are good showing how the story is moving ahead. infact i too liked it right from starting till end a lot. hope tomorrow also it will be like this seriously. i don't mind who gets more footage but it is needed that akbar shd be everywhere as per story today. all the scenes are sensible and i felt nothing was unnecessary. the promo may come true but jodha may not agree for change as she agreed to jalal's words on pooja day. it is almost like giving him vachan and she cannot break it. something may happen before war and the track may end on positive note. as ruq or in the past mahamanga whenever they spoke out any saazish that never happened in many cases almost in 90%plans. so i hope the track ends on positive note. i hope today salim's role in enquiring his mother's health and speaking high of his father's bravery will send positive vibes among the viewers.

loved Sharif's father's punishment... I hope they show ruqu getting punished too!! Though it's not historically true but I'll be very very elated if the CVS show such a scene...
nd me too feel after today's episode that hamida will force jodha to change her religion..

I don't know what is going to happen now.
But i guess, Vishkanya will be sent to kill Jalal.

Since Sharif's father is dead.
Hence, some other villain ? Can you think of any one here ?

Jodha won't agree now, and as far as i think, Jalal won't agree with this idea.

I am also thinking, NOW they will use the mazhar is some form or another.
Also, as Susan pointed, i don't understand what will that VishKanya do now and who will send her ?

so another powerful epi 2dy gd dat means we gt consecutively 2 gd epis...I hope evn 2mrw we gt gd epi like 2dy and yesrtdy... so it means hamida is really serious abt jodha's conversn in 2 islam... bt I feel dat may nt happn... ws ny jodha's conversn in histry mentioned nywhr...? atlest I havnt heard of...? so jalal mite support jodha agn and at d end of d track evrythng mite b gd...hopefully...nywyz I wil watch d epi and dn cum bk thnx fr d update...
