I wonder that since Sikri is a compound or a mini city of sorts that additions might have been made later on...

I.e.. Started off as a mini project and then extended and extended to add tributes to others too...

Did NOT find any connection with Rajputana battles, that Akbar erected this city for celebrating those victories.🤢.

i think for the victory in battles over Rajputana, it was that Buland darwaza at the FS fort, that he built... but why and when that fort was built, i didn't get any clear info abt it...

Even Mansi has put in her thread that Ela got info from Zee it is true,
They put disclaimer maybe to avoid any problems later on

Entire construction of new city would take decades, certainly in old days.
There would hardly be a totally empty place so maybe Akbar gave Jodha a chance to entirely rebuild areas as per her vision. I certainly like what he did for Jodha😃

But then how is that , that all pamphlets Government Records and information books and guides give the year 1969/71 as the commencement date?

Why should the dates be altered and unanimously agreed upon and printed even officially, till suddenly someone from Balaji decides to come up with a different version.

Even you told me that Rang Mahal was the first constructed palace here that was built after Jodha was pregnant with Salim and constructed super-fast.

And what was the Fateh that prompted Akbar to name it so if not the battles?

This construction story in the serial can only be brought up to rehabilitate Tejwant-Shivaani. In that case is the Tejwant- Shivaani elopement story true too?😲

Thanks Abhay, and to build city it takes years and he said he wants to build as per Jodha's choice, so they initiated in 1562/63 and must have taken sometime by the time the actual work started.

If Jodha was in palace in Sikhri when she was pregnant (during 1568-69), then the palace construction should have started much before, else it is not possible that once they got to know that she was pregnant and immdtly the palace was built so that she could stay?

It did not say that Jodha/HK/MUZ, did not get a palace of her choice in Sikri .!.
