@syria... 😆

I asked you to post the question only because many people have asked about this Malwa incident in PMs..Just wanted to answer on thread for the last time...

DO Not do the analysis of Abul Fazl..
Wait let me/others do it.. 😆
By nature he was QUITE liberal. He also had Sufi roots.
But he was heavily ''tilted'' and faithful towards Akbar. 😊

Note : A Farman issued by Mariam-Uz-Zamani Begum Sahiba

Credit -> Lizzy2012

"
Some ladies had the exclusive privilege of issuing official orders.
The right of issuing royal farmans was the exclusive prerogative of the emperor.
There were other official documents like Hasb-Ul-Hukm, Nishans, Sanads and Parwanas which were issued by the high officials and Princes.

But in some cases farmans were issued by queens and princesses.

This issuing of such orders was confined to the highest ladies of the harem such as
Hamida Banu Begum,
Mariam-Uz-Zamani Begum
,
Nur Jahan,
Mumtaz Mahal,
Nadira Banu Begum, and
Jahanarra Begum

"

Following is a farman issued by Mariam-Uz-Zamani Begum Sahiba.
"
In another order issued by Mariam-Uz-Zamani Begum Sahiba, Madabbir Beg is asked to restore the jagir which was usurped by one Surajmal in pargana Chaupala (Moradabad).

Hey Abhay, a lot of people in the forum want to know exactly how many children did MUZ have (both dead and alive). Please throw light on this, whenever you have some time on hand.😛

Abhay, I have NOT asked you any questions recenly, right?

Since now Sharifuddin will come out of jail
Did he and Bakshi Banu have any children?
When is the war going to happen? Did Akbar really fight or almost come to war against Shariuddin himself?
Do you have any information about any of his plots epecially AGAINST JODHA/MUZ?

BTW no hurry about replies😊

Hi all.
Though did not want to update now. But updating since many of you have sent PMs due to issue of Fatehpur Sikri.

At Babur's time Sikri was called 'Shukri' means thanksgiving.

Later the word shukri corrupted to sikri...

And fatehpur was officially added to word sikri in early 1570's after gujarat campaign it is said.

Wait. If we get more, will edit this comment. 😊

Thanx Abhay
I wanted the disclaimer in bold seeing the FS announcement and was expecting your post.

Rang mahal in 1569 was supposed to be the first construction. Wasn't it?

And the name of Fatehpur..what was the reason behind it?
