Though i am LATE in this reply.
And, already it has been shown in the serial that Adham went on war to Malwa.

Yes, in reality ALSO Adham was sent to Malwa. This is the Second expedition.
But, Adham will be called back.😉 Just wait and Watch.
This is because he assumed INDEPENDENT AIRS in Malwa, though he was TOLD to co-operate with Pir Muhammed.😕

And, in his place Abdullah Khan will be sent to Malwa. (some others also). And, on coming back he will find that Atga Khan has gained a lot of clout. And, he himself has lost a lot of power.😕
Also, his financal irregularities will be caught by Atga Khan.

Yes, Sharifuddin was ordered to be killed by elephants, on orders of Masum/Mansum Khan.

And, the date was around 15-16 February, 1581.
He was a 'Shahi' Mansabdar of rank of 'paanch-hazaari', that is, 5000.

I know Jalal got Adham married in 1559-60.(in his 4th reignal year.)
Adham's Father in Law, Md. Baqi Baqlani, was also in Maham's team.😕
He was among those set of people along with Maham Anga, who played a role in 'bhadkaofying' Jalal against Bairam Khan.

There is some mention about him in Akbarnama, Vol.2, Pg-142, also. Pehaps that was some secret information/conspiracy involving him and MA.
Abul Fazl has not described this OPENLY. Even i don't know exactly what was that..!..
I did not try to search also..!.. See, Maham is an all-rounder..😉😕

TE has deliberately sent AK out of Agra and then got Atgha Khan on the embezzlement issue. If you note the DEK of tuesday when the baandi came with story of murthi - there were very few ppl - this was not like the regular DEK which had all the important nobles - it just had Shamsuddin Atgha and 2-3 others only - seemed like TE wanted a very small group to be in the know of the investigations under process - and notably MA was not there!!!

If I feel logically as what i hav read about the title of padshah begum and info of history_geek one point i can say frankly that rukaiya had never ever the title of padshah begum. Because as mughal rule padshah begum title can't be given a person at the life time of of another padshah begum.That means one woman can be given the title at one time. NOOR JAHAN married jahangir at 1611(some says in 1613) nd given the title nur mahal 1611 and which she changed in 1616 as nur jahan and in 1622 OR 23 she was given the title PADSHAH BEGUM. At that time Rukaiya was alive.She died at the year 1626 which was 4 years after the function in which title of padshah begum was given to nurjahan. As the mughal rule that emperor's mother was the highest lady of the realm so jahangir may had waited and given the title of the padshah begum(highest lady) after the death of his mother MUZ IN 1923 in way to give prestiege to her mother.

Just finished reading ths entire thread. Loved reading all the comments, great job abhay, kamal and lizzy. I already read part 2. Now i have part 3'4 and 5 threads to go.

Munim Khan was appointed to this post of Wakil when Maham Anga wielded considerable authority and influence, and was infact appointed due to her majorly. This was done by her to counter Bairam Khan, as Munim was envious of Bairam.😉

Atga Khan was also a courtier of considerable repute, and his position rose considerably after he pacified the rebellion of Bairam Khan. Bairam was defeated near Jalandhar in Punjab, and later hunted out of town of Tilwara, by Atga Khan. Moreover, Atga was husband of his foster mother Jiji Anga.

Later, when Jalal slowly realized about something amiss (Maham.?.) , he removed Munim Khan from that post. (This is given as a reason in some texts.) Another MAJOR reason is that Atga Khan had defeated Bairam earlier, proving his mettle, and was considered BETTER than Munim.
(I am writing both reasons, which i could find..!..)

Seeing, Munim removed from the post, Maham and Adham were infuriated.
Both, resented Atga's elevation. 😆

Later, Adham was forced to give up command of Malwa. And called back.
(I already mentioned this before.)

Now, the texts use these words for Adham -> "He was reduced to such a position that anyone could taunt him, and his status was reduced to a hitman..!..And, he was deliberately ignored." (Just like what Sharif was taunting Adham few days back.😉..I am giving an example from show.)

I think that has already happened. In the starting-wale episodes only i.e. in 1561. Baz B's harem and fortunes were captured by AK and he refused to part with them. He was keeping most of it for himself sending only a few elephants to Agra.

When Jalal heard of this, he left instantly. But MA got to know about this information earlier and she sent out her messengers to AK warning him of Jalal's impending arrival. Thus, AK lived to die another day.
