Infact, Maham Anga had appointed Munim Khan as the Wakil .
Munim Khan was a close confident of Maham.😉
Atga's appointment, aroused insecurity among Munim, Maham and Adham.

More details in the update regarding Adham's end, in a few days.😊

This Munim Khan same as the one who was sent to Kabul? How loyal was he to Akbar? I read somewhere he was mixed up with MahaChuchak and MH? And now u r saying he was close to MA and AK too

Yes, this is same Munim Khan, who went to Kabul.
Yes, close to MA, since he was appointed by MA (infact..😉!!..) to the post of Wakil.

Regarding his mix up with MH and his mom, this link has some info.

I would leave his loyalty to be ascertained by following events.

1. He was in service, since Humayun's reign
2. He was the "Wakil", before losing the post to Atga Khan
3. He was one of those nobles who instigated Adham Khan against Atga Khan.😕

After Atga's murder, he and other conspirators escaped from Agra Palace, fearing punishment.
At this moment ALSO, he had the title of Khan-i-Khanan, Wakalat(office of minister), and Ataliq(tutor).
He was arrested and brought to the court, then forgiven and reinstated in his office.😕

4. Next, he was appointed the subedar of important Subah of Jaunpur in 1564.
5. Later, he rose to become the governor of Bihar/Bengal around 1574/5, before dying on 23 Ocober 1575, in an epidemic(plague).

He was sent by Akbar to handle Daud Khan in 1574, the king of Bengal, who was defeated in 2nd attempt. Then, he was made governor of Bengal/Bihar. Later, after his death Daud Khan again re-captured parts of his lost territory.

Maddy,

I told fun stuff because, MA, Adham and Co. will see power slipping away from their hands.

Regarding, 'scatter brain' Javeda. I don't have CONCRETE info, at present.😊

BUT
I know Jalal got Adham married in 1559-60.(in his 4th reignal year.)
Adham's Father in Law, Md. Baqi Baqlani, was also in Maham's team.😕
He was among those set of people along with Maham Anga, who played a role in 'bhadkaofying' Jalal against Bairam Khan.

There is some mention about him in Akbarnama, Vol.2, Pg-142, also. Pehaps that was some secret information/conspiracy involving him and MA.
Abul Fazl has not described this OPENLY. Even i don't know exactly what was that..!..
I did not try to search also..!.. See, Maham is an all-rounder..😉😕

Abhay, I believe the power has started slipping away from the hands of MA, AK and party.

TE has deliberately sent AK out of Agra and then got Atgha Khan on the embezzlement issue. If you note the DEK of tuesday when the baandi came with story of murthi - there were very few ppl - this was not like the regular DEK which had all the important nobles - it just had Shamsuddin Atgha and 2-3 others only - seemed like TE wanted a very small group to be in the know of the investigations under process - and notably MA was not there!!!

What to reply here..?..😆..
Just one thing that.. I need not join the college.😉(Hope you got the meaning..😆)

BTW, I am not fida over MUZ, but just got CuriouS about the fact that a lady could have such an important position in those times, which led to far-reaching changes.😊 Also, see the fact that she was from a DIFFERENT culture, family, background, STILL carved an IDENTITY in Mughal household, and the REST is history, which we are discussing and debating .!. 😊

See my recent comment.

Not only me or the people who research with me, BUT the world ACCEPTS about her:😉

The Oxford Encyclopedia Of Women in World History, Vol-4, Page-656, notes the name of Hk/Jodha/MUZ as an influential wife in Akbar's life, who exemplified his religious tolerance and also in shaping many POLICIES in the Mughal Empire.😊

There are MORE such sources. The thing is, she is VERY much present in history (contrary to popular opinion that, she is NOT) and the ONLY thing which is required is to GET HER OUT from those texts.😊
