Is this a reboot ?

I didn’t watch S1, was a baby.

But thanks to never ending promotions by Star, I'm gonna give it a try. I have read S1 on wikipedia and other sites.

But people are asking is this a reboot ?

Isn't reboot more like what Tera Mera Saath Rahe was for Saathiya, similar character names but totally different storyline. Kyunki is more of a modern continuation of original show with minor differences.

Iss show ka Season 2 is wayyy better than the sasta season 2 of Saathiya as this show focuses on the OG Virani family. Saathiya 2 was a flop as it was a remake of a Bengali show and Modi family were cameos.

I only watched Kokila scenes. Rest were cringe.

Are they gonna upload episodes on Hotstar before television like yeh rishta or No. Tv first then Hotstar?
