WOW! Magnificent post.
Now I understand your ID name on this forum
Hats off - really you have taken such huge effort to educate people about history
I have only read the 1st page but just could not resist keeping a reply before reading the rest of it.

I did not even want to watch this serial. I thought it will be a typical love story. A friend here on this forum Heena, who watched told me it is different and I should watch. After watching just 2 episodes I was hooked. I started watching from Rukayya fake pregnancy track and now I am catching up with old episodes.

I must say I really like this take on Jodha Akbar. It just makes me wonder to think of what real Jodha could have gone through, 400+ years back - having to marry the man she despises, go into different religion, culture, live with people who hated everything about her. In spite of all this she blossomed and changed Jalal into Akbar. Like somebody commented here on the forum she is 21st century woman.

What you have written only reinforces the influence and power she had over Akbar and on history of that period. That too being a woman in such fedual society.

I watch Jodha Akbar for Jodha's story but also Akbar's for how Jodha turned Jalal into Akbar.

I am very eager to read rest of your entire post and replies. Will share it with my friends.

Please share more such information.

I really enjoy reading these posts because they not only assure the devoted fans👍🏼 of Jodha Akbar that the show is based on facts but they provide so much information about MUZ! Thanks you guys!⭐️
I wanted to post the questions that have been brought up several times in this forum:

1. Did MUZ have other kids besides Salim (a.k.a. Emperor Jahangir) ?

2. Were the twins Hasan Mirza and Husain Mirza her babies? (I am still unsure about this) (Plus I am wondering if Ekta will show their deaths'...😕)
3. Was MUZ Prince Danyial's mother? (I keep reading unreliable stuff on the internet, including rumors that anarkali was his mom🤢...personally I think this is false... any facts out there?)

4. I know that Akbar had several daughters, but all of their mothers that are mentioned are concubines. Did MUZ have any girls?

I also wanted to add that although many of you have stated that Salim loved Danyial...which might have been true... according to Munis Faruqui's book The Princes of the Mughal Empire... Danyial was almost killed by poisoned liquor by well known associates of Salim...later the perpetrators were (stoned to death?) killed

Although it is not known if Salim planed the poisoning attempt...it is possible since it was a well known fact that Akbar liked Danyial, and with Danyial dead Salim would be the sole heir to the throne...

Plus Salim could be a ruthless man, in the book it also stated that he blinded his eldest son after he had unsuccessfully revolted...according to the book MUZ had asked Salim to treat his blinded son better
I wonder if there are other sources that might solidify the poisoning story?

If you guys have any info on MUZ's other children please post it ! Thanks a bunch! I hope to learn more about MUZ and her position in Akbar's life and court!
