<div>I think everyone knows and realizes that women in the 16th century were powerful in their own way and played important roles in the running of political affairs...but the whole question is that whether they behaved in a way that Jodha is shown to behave or not!If Jodha was shown to be exercising her power in some other way...like Ruquaiyya does, it would have been so much more realistic...but to see that she treats her husband like a toilet paper is simply unconceivable for that time and era!IMO, Ruqaiyya is the perfect example of a truly strong and dominant woman...look how she exercises her power over Akbar...always with a smile on her face and honey dripping from her tounge...while Jodha, keeps raving and ranting and never gets her way!So who is the stronger and smarter one here?
you said jodha should exercise her power over akbar like ruqaiyaa!! but the question is which power..ruqaiyaa has the supreme power over jalal's thought..but does jodha really has any power?? which power will she exercise over akbar??:-) trust me she really still hasn't gained any type of power over him..:-)
