You know bringing dancers like Lauren and Shakti to a floor like this and then making non-dancers win competing Lauren is utter nonsense. You know, its an insult to dancers like Lauren and the only reason I don't want Shakti here is that she can fall prey to Channel politics for which Colors is widely known. She is a beautiful dancer and a big celeb, but I find it unfair to HER and not to other contestants because her true talent might get subdued by Channel Politics or Popularity. Shakti is way above popularity, she doesn't need fans to prove how good a dancer she is...and I will be sad if she gets the same fate as Lauren!

absolutely dear. Its like is it fair for someone who is a good dancer to loose to someone just because they have a higher fanbase. cause thats what has happened in some of the previous seasons. So just because shes a trained dancer doesn't mean shes going to win. but I will support her to the end.

^ shivu Shakti knows that i am sure but then also she enrolled in this competition...and there are many other celebs who are famous and it's an opportunity for many to perform in such a platform... at the end of the day it's a win win situation for everyone. Whether they win or loose is irrelevant here everything is about exposure

IKR Appy di, I agree with u completely...but this is afterall a dance competition and to lose it for the sake of some dirty politics or popularity is not fair. I feel sad about the way Reality Shows of India work! =P Don't get me wrong please!!

@Bold - Now that is one thing I agree with. If you have the passion, talent, dedication, motivation, perseverance, etc you don't need fans to prove anything. Her time on DID proved enough that she's a phenomenal dancer.

But see. That's the thing. You think these contestants (celeb or non celeb) don't know about the dirty politics? Of course they know about it. Then why do they still participate? The main reason is because they want to showcase their talent and showcase it to the world. People make careers out of these passions.

For example being a singer my dream is to be on the SRGMP stage one day. When's the last time you've seen the show? Now all these dancing reality shows are coming about that singing has been left behind. But I still wish that one day I can showcase the talent to the whole world. For me its not about winning. It's about experience.

Shivu we cannot help with the politics na... and this is a dance competition but a celebrity dance competition where it is open to public voting... so we better keep our expectations low in terms of who is the most deserving... we all know who is deserving but alas they never win...and never going to win when TRPs are in stake... all i can say Shakti will be in top 5 for sure... if not in finals...and it is going to be entertaining... and i have serious feeling that the whole system is pre planned and the makers and the channel knows who will hold the finale trophy... and so are the participants... 😳

^I totally get what you wanna say! And you're right. Its about exposure to showcase your talents. Just that, she'd be competing with non-dancers...and we might not get to see her more because she gets out due to lack of votes! (NOT that I want it to happen)

But then JDJ did wonders for Lauren, and I agree with u on the exposure point! So yeah, right now...the only thing I appreciate is that we're having a very healthy discussion about the topic!!

I really appreciate the fact that everyone who has posted their view has posted it in a civil manner rather than bashing. I was afraid of that. 😆

I just want to make it clear I love Shakti. One talented chick for sure.
