Thank you all for joining in on a healthy discussion. A lot of you gave valid points as to why it is fair. I agree with some points.

Personally I feel that they should change the format of the show. I mean why do you have choreographers? These choreographers have immense dance knowledge and are there to put together a dance. I know a great dancer doesn't mean a great choreographer. My point isn't about trained dancer as much as it is about giving fair chances to every contestant. There are have been many trained dancers on reality shows. That's not where I was getting at though.

Of course even she has to go through a lot of tests in this Jhalak journey. She has to prove herself in many ways. Though I still stand by my point that its unfair to SOME of the contestants that she is miles ahead on the game than they are.

yes and no because Jhalak is all about Dancing with the stars and whoever they take as a participant is only and only if they are stars... now if the stars are dancers or not it is their credibility... 😳

This is quite a debatable topic

But as the montage suggests , Its all about dancing with the stars

And Shakti is an actor and popular celebrity . And secondly if trained dancers are not to be chosen , even Mouni and Andy shouldn't be chosen .

At the end of the day , its a reality shows and its the channel who makes and breaks the rule .

I find it very much legit

Lets see how the show progresses

It's fair .

Simple example Lauren , a highly trained dancer from a show like So you think you can dance and she also did a Dance based movie. Still she is roped in just because she is a celebrity.

And Shakti is a Celebrity, not only a dancer. And this season consists of many other trained dancers too . Just because she won a show and others didn't , doesn't mean they can't give a competition to her.

And at the end of the day, she will not be allowed to choose a dance form so that she can be in her comfort zone and score marks. Judges will be deciding her dance style and even she needs to adopt to them. It's all based on hardwork.

And Jhalak is Dancing with Stars where I believe 40% points goes to their dancing and 60% goes to their popularity.

JDJ is DANCING WITH THE STARS nd shakti is a STAR.its true that she is the best over here but mouni nd andy r lso trained every year they ring in a dancer who loses out to a more popular star in the finale but in shakti's case she has an extremely strong fanbase so she has high chances of wining.her participation is nt unfair atall cause JDJ is not abt non-dancers competing.
