i think Sushant deserved the 30 because his dance had concept, dance and emotions in it. if u look at it carefully there was lot of dance in it. it wasn't just him crying and running around. he was acting and at the same time he was dancing too. 😃 it was a well-deserved 30👍🏼

Chits ji, I TOTALLY agree with you! They played a rather disgusting game on emotions last week. By telling us and the judges that Sushant lost his mother and is dedicating this performance in her honor, the stage was already set with heartfelt emotions right in the middle of the AV! It was obvious that regardless of how the performance went, Sushant will be getting a 30 to give "due respect".

Sushant and Shampa have performed much MUCH better in the past. The choreography in the Maa performance was very monotonous and there were no new movements. I feel that Shampa's choreography is getting very repetitive in contemporary and similar styles. Sushant always has the same typical jazz moves in all his performances. The performance also lacked dance overall. There was too much time spent emoting and depicting that somewhere along the way, the element of dance was lost.

Definitely not a 30 performance! Instead, I thought their Chumma Chumma performance was more refreshing because they finally chose a different style that was very different from things they've done in the past. That compelled Shampa's choreography to be different as well. However, I did think Sushant's hip hop was not matchable to Shampa's dancing in that performance.

@bold: agree with you completely on this one. ..my cousin is a trained jazz dancer and this is exactly what he says.. i wonder why none of the judges pointed this out.. now i seriously doubt their knowledge of different dance forms...this is where i really miss judges like Vaibhavi and javed....

His floor work at the beginning of each performance has been almost identical. We have seen him do these jazz movements in other shows as well. He does the very basic jazz steps in all his performances regardless of the style he is performing that day. I feel Shampa's choreography only kicks in during the lifts and other movements that they have together.

As far as judges are concerned, it is one thing to be a good dancer and it is a totally different thing to be educated in dance. Madhuri and Malaika (I highly doubt) are knowledgeable in various dance forms, especially foreign dance forms. We need judges who can tell the difference between all the various Latin dances, who can encourage something more than hip hop and contemporary on this platform, and who know more about dance than just Bollywood's matka's and jhatka's! Malaika mentioned once that she has studied dance ... well I've studied biochemistry last semester, too, but that in no way means that I remember any of it! I love Madhuri, but I think that if they want to keep her, they should've brought in another choreographer in Malaika's place. Remo-Madhuri-Vaibhavi would have been a MUCH better panel of judges. I'm a huge Vaibhavi fan- her judging is terrific!

I completely agree! I felt they have exploited a very personal tragedy. i apologize for using that word. But that is how it seemed. I felt as if they knew they were gonna get some sympathy points by doing this. And if it hurt Sushant so much, then he should've just chosen another concept. But no! he went ahead with this. this shows that either they were hoping to get sympathy from the judges for his story or to impress the judges by doing something that hurt him to show them how strong he is. either way, i feel as if they knew it was gonna have an effect on the judges and it will be an advantage.

very well said👏👏
i couldn't have said it better... i m a huge fan of vaibhavi and javed... i wish they could of retained vaibhavi as a judge... i m a huge fan of madhuri so when i heard she will be a judge in JDJ 4 i was very excited but i m hugely disappointed with her as a judge.. she never points out the mistakes of contestants she just has only nice things to say about them even malaika is better than her as a judge.. i find it quite funny that even for shekhar suman she always manages to find some nice words to say to him...
