Ladies and Gentlemen! I present to you the symptoms of stage 2 obsession. Still treatable.
No, we will not keep our mouths shut - figuratively. I assume you meant to we should keep ourselves from typing. It must be hard for the likes of you to understand the concept of being neutral and having a vision of 20/20.
Agreed, OP, the performance was mediocre. As someone aptly pointed out, it was an "emotional atyachar" in a desperate attempt to get sympathy votes.
Where are the lovers of freedom of speech and expression to bash the quoted post ordering people to keep..err.. just keep their mouths shut.

Bless you for opening the topic, I was waiting for someone to do it!

Well, IMO, Sushant did not deserve 30 at all.
Dance wise - it was definitely not Sushant's best, it was plain evident. He has done very very similar steps before. Shampa's somewhat agile body language in her depiction of a mother was not gelling well. There were some portions where there was no dance at all, they were just standing and depicting a scene. Choreography was medicre only, no typical Shampa wow steps at all.

Emotion wise - Sushant fans knew that he'd lost his mother. So all the while in the dance they must have been seeing another angle to the performance and a greater depth to his emotions and expressions.
But I was totally unaware of this, and to me, the dance was not a tearjerker at all. I did not get the mother-son vibe from Sushant and Shampa at all. Mainly because of Shampa's look, body language, costume. That "mamta" feeling was not coming across well, atleast for me. So on an emotional level also, it failed to tug at my heartstrings. Could have been SO SO much better, considering Sushant and Shampa's standards.

To be honest, I felt only Ankita deserved 30 in that episode, coz I couldn't find any faults with either the choreography or dance, it was perfect and deserved a perfect score. Ragini was very good but these guys have never ever gotten their coordination right, so she didn't deserve 30 imo, 27 would've been enough.
To be more honest, I felt Sushant deserved 30 for "chumma chumma", I found it thoroughly enjoyable, didn't notice any goof ups.

@tiya229 : Sushant has a different standard compared to the rest. If any other contestant would've done this performance, they would have deserved more than 30. He's much beyond the rest and since judges usually evaluate on an individual rather than comparative basis, it seemed biased to give a perfect score for to a performance which could've been much better and had that 30-ish element missing.
Further, there have been posts on Chang and Ragini not deserving 30, but Sushant has whole topics made on him because he's more popular here and more under the scanner in this forum.

On a side note, some fans really need to know the meaning of the word "opinion". It's not the same as "hating" or "bashing".

I respect your opinion. 😊 I just wanted to reply back to the above part. I don't think being a Sushant fan had anything much to do with finding the performance emotional, cos I read good reviews about it even from some who are not really his pankhas. My hostel girls too cried on seeing the performance (they didn't know he had lost his Mom, I told this to them.) My Mom who is definitely not Sushant's fan and my sis who has never seen Pavitra Rishta (she thinks its boring) too were impressed by this act.

Even Ragini, Madhuri, Malaika, Mona were crying on the set as well.

In short, I simply feel the performance clicked for some, and didn't click for some, some could connect to it and some could not. As simple as that.😊

@All: We may disagree with the judges points or feel the scoring was erratic, but i don't think it is fair to call the judges biased or something cos of that. They did point out Sushant's mistakes in his next performance and give him less marks cos of that. I think the judges are pretty unbiased, purely my opinion.
