Give it a break, they gave bakwaas performance highest score, the crickter wala just for being popular... It's a dance show not popularity show, GC, Shibani and Gia danced far away better than him... It was ridiclous and biased judgment... Crap

I think many forum members have already said that they don't agree with the title of this post & I'm also one of them - I disagree with TM. We all know Shampa is a brilliant dancer & choreographer. She knows well what are Gurmeet's strong & weak points, what steps he can comfortably do.

I know you are not bashing & also agree with comments of judges. Gurmeet was stiff & more because he was nervous, was trying bit too hard. I can say he was nervous, as that showed on his face & I have seen him in many stage performances where he has performed even tougher steps with ease.
But please, stop putting it this way that Gurmeet would let down Shampa if he cannot do as good as her or match her. It sounds like, when contestants enter the show, they should already be trained dancers. They don't have any room n time for learning n growing as a dancer.
Gurmeet himself has said that he is not a trained dancer, he himself wants to complement Shampa & that is one reason which is adding to his nervousness because his does not want to let her down, he appreciates her talent n hard work.
He himself has said that he can dance, but with lots of practice, which comes with time. So overnight we cannot expect him to do wonders or match Shampa's caliber.
He is good with action, he is good with acting, he is learning to dance...and it's not that this show is the first n last chance for him to prove as a dancer or learn

It'll wrong to expect from him, what Shampa n Sushant have done in last season. Sushant is a different person, has his own abilities & on top of all is a trained dancer

The only reason I quoted you is, as I find it too harsh on someone, if you want him/her to match the skills of his/her trained partner from a particular field, within days/weeks

Everything comes with practice & we cannot put a timeline on it. Fine fans may still call him the bestest but he himself is not saying that. He is not singing any false praises for himself

sorry to say I completely disagree. I am a huge Shampa fan last year with Sushant proved that she is a freaking amazing choreographer. GC has the best shot at winning the contest due to Shampa because he cant always rely on his popularity alone (KSG in season 3 proved that).

Agreed that Sushant and Gurmeet are two different types of dancers but do keep in mind that even Sushant in his first week only for a score of 24. I havent seen the performances yet but I can say that it will take atleast more time for GC and Shampa to gel together and dance...also Sushant and Shampa had some innovative ideas hence their performances were amazing...GC has to equally contribute to Shampa's training if he wants to win

Give me a break...Shampa is like one of the best choreographers on that show...of course she had much better material to work with last season...but this was just the first episode...I'm sure GC will loosen up as the show proceeds.

Couldn't have put it better!
Shampa is a terrific choreographer, she has given some of the best acts not only in JDJ 4 but also in DID seasons 1 and 2.

Wasnt Shampa Sushant's choreographer and the duo rocked ...blaming her wud b like saying Naach na jaane aangan tedha ...

PS its just the start ...Shampa has proved herself while GC can def prove himself and dancing in shows and doing stage performances is a bit different to sumthing like JDJ IMO

they have a long time to practice for the first performance don't you think shampa already knows his weak points and strong points

you do realise that stage performances are edited for TV right😕

But please, stop putting it this way that Gurmeet would let down Shampa if he cannot do as good as her or match her. It sounds like, when contestants enter the show, they should already be trained dancers. They don't have any room n time for learning n growing as a dancer.

well shampa has her work cut out for her; she probably expected someone like sushant and instead she got gurmeet who seems so mechanical. gurmeet's fans put him across as someone who was an extremely good dancer so it is disappointing when his intro and his first performance did not match the hype they built.
as for shampa she has been in did season 1-2 and in jdj 4 and to be honest it does seem like her expectations were not met..thus i used the terminology i did

Gurmeet himself has said that he is not a trained dancer, he himself wants to complement Shampa & that is one reason which is adding to his nervousness because his does not want to let her down, he appreciates her talent n hard work.

really?his fans made it seem like he was incredible..thats what i went with..i felt he was being humble but i guess he is a non dancer

He himself has said that he can dance, but with lots of practice, which comes with time.so he is a non dancer but he can dance with lots of practice..like i said before there is a lot o time to practice for episode 1 more than for the following episodes. So overnight we cannot expect him to do wonders or match Shampa's caliber.
He is good with action, he is good with acting, he is learning to dance...and it's not that this show is the first n last chance for him to prove as a dancer or learn

i dont know about other dance shows but i m judging him based on his jhalak performaces and not what he has done so far or will do after jdj5

It'll wrong to expect from him, what Shampa n Sushant have done in last season. Sushant is a different person, has his own abilities & on top of all is a trained dancer

i did not say he is sushant; i said it is wrong to say that shampa is not worthy of him

sry to say ...u havent seen him dancing den...wait n watch...he will show wht he has in him...he is not a trained dancer dats all bt he is a good one...
