I felt so bad for him!

You could clearly see the difference between his dance and the rest of the contestants!

what did she think?? that his good looks would do all the work??

BTW what where they wearing it looked so tacky!

I haven't seen the other seasons soo I don't know how she is but I really hope that They will improve in the upcoming episodes!

I know he can do better and I don't want to see him make a fool out of himself!

he deserves better than this!

Don't know how much you got of what I wanted to say...but even I said that Shampa very well knows of Gurmeet's strong n weak points, so there was nothing wrong with her choreography like a few people are thinking here.

Stage performances even if edited won't make a nervous person look confident & are not edited so much, that a person fails to judge if the performer is an average/good dancer

I don't know Shampa or whom she expected to be her partner, you might know her more, but my understanding is being a choreographer she should be & SHE IS ready to train any contestant from any field, not just trained dancers(who don't need much of training but only practice for every different performance)

Again how much hype Gurmeet's fans create or how they put him across does not matter, as that's something which only online viewers can see. Offline viewer's can only see n listen to what's shown on TV & if I'm not wrong neither Gurmeet nor channel has created any hype about him being a brilliant dancer

Again u might know Shampa personally, but at least I didn't notice disappointment on her face. She looked as encouraging as ever

No one is forcing you to think that he can dance, he might be a below average dancer for you.

My whole point is, just like you think it is wrong to say that Shampa is not worthy of him...it is wrong to say that he will let down Shampa. It's not that he himself opted to be Shampa's partner promising that he'll match her caliber or he'll get for her what she missed last season

And I'll leave it here only. I don't think I can put it across in better words.

In Jhalak 4: In the first week: the top 3 future finalists scored as below:

Chang and Marisca - 18

Sushant and Shampa - 20

Yana and Salman - 20

These three scored some of the lowest scores in their first week and ended up being the top 3 finalists.

No DOUBT that GURMEET will end up in TOP!!

Shampa is an AMAZING choreographer. Gurmeet can't dance, plain and simple, at least not based on his first performance. And he's extremely LUCKY that he got her as a partner. The first performance was choreographed keeping Gurmeet's strengths in mind...ie his stunts. It's just that he's extremely stiff and always has been, it's not going to go away in 2 days.

i heard shampa did a gud job last time when she was sushant's choreographer ...

as of now ... all i can say is ... its neither shampa nor GC fault .

I havent seen the dance yet, will watch in a bit, but Shampa is a great choreographer, her and Sushant should have won JDJ4, they scored more 30s then anyone other contestant.

last year shampa got sushant who is a trained dancer himself... she was able to try her innovative choreography styles on him... this year is her real test as a choreographer and teacher... gurmeet is not as good a dancer as sushant... she'll have to work harder on him... gurmeet too has to prove to be a good student...
this is only the first performance and people were expecting miracles because it was shampa and gurmeet... the pressure was too high on both of them and maybe they were nervous... i know gurmeet was because i could see it in his face... i'm sure as time passes, the performances will improve... gurmeet is very very hard working... he's someone who takes criticism in stride and always works towards improving himself...

I was quite surprised with Gurmeet's performance actually. Since I have seen him dance at a few award shows and he seemed more fluid than he was today. I guess he was just under pressure, but the act also was not well conceptualized. And yeah they did look like cheerleaders!

Anyways!!! I'm toh deff gonna vote for my jaan Gurmeet!! He will make it to the finale only cz of our votes ppl! so pls vote!!

how can u say dat? have u seen him dance earlier? ya he is lucky dat he got shampa, same as she is lucky to have him coz he would prove himself as her best student...i wont agree dat choreography was done according to his strength n weakness...dey were under pressure dat i felt...
