GC should ask for a change in choreographer - Page 7

shampa is one of da best choreographers in da show so don't judge her too fast with one act. she will make sure GC look good and dance better in da next episode cuz she has da potential to do so

Nah Shampa is one of the best choreographers on JDJ.. You should go re watch last season. Shampa and Sushant were amazing. They were so in sync with the lyrics and the songs. But then again Sushant I believe used to come up with the concepts or something and she would choreograph them. Maybe you should watch few more episodes your opinion of her may change.I mean it was just the first episode.😃

he cant dance like romeo or terance in a day..he is nt profesnal n he is working hard to gve hs best..
Choreographer also cant mould hm n make hm profesnal in a day na..it takes time for anytime..
So plz gve sme time to gurmeet n shampa n dnt jump to conclusions with a single performance

Well I have been dancing for about 13 years i guess..so though I do not master any kind of style in particular, I do think Freestyle, Bollywood and western are my Plus points.

The fact that in the very first intro dance, (the one on sat) I was stunned that GC did not miss a single beat even!! Wow!!
That is surely a strength! I believe that Shampa did a fab job with him there and allowing the other contestants and the judges to see his strength I expected a Stunner from Guru Shampa...

But I was a little disappointed. She made him look like a person who always uses his hero skills and he doesn't know to dance. I thought that GC was somewhat uncertain of his moves and so was Shampa.

This says that they both were very nervous but there is no chance for Guru to be eliminated because we have Gia and her partner @ 22.

Shampa is an excellent choreographer! The aerial act Sushant did last season was amaZing Yaar! Shampa can work wonders with Gurmeet when he is an excellent dancer!

All we hav to do is wait till next week!!

Everyone who came out in support of Shampa- I already said that I havent seen any of the past seasons of Jhalak. So I have no idea about her body of work. I have seen GC's dance performances- in shows and on stage and none of them looked as tacky as what was put up yesterday. I would blame the choreo just for that - she could not understand what his strengths were and utilize them better. He may not be the best (and I dont think he is the best of all the people who danced yesterday) but I still think he can do much better than what was put up yesterday. Its the sign of a great choeographer who can make even a non-dancer look like a great dancer! She needs to understand his rythm and style and then design the act/performance. What worked for her partner last year may not work for GC- its as simple as that!

gurmeet was good, but they got marks according them pehchan jub crickter ko knowldge nahi tha acting ka isly jyada dya. woh galat hai. here in america every1 same rules not like india

I don't know whether GC is a trained dancer or not. He is saying he is not a trained dancer. But I remember in lot of segments when he was doing Geet, he would always say he goes to dance class, action class after his shoot. So I thought he will be very good and one of the best dancers this season.
