As he confesses to Di.. even when he married her he doesn't love her (prior to finding about Shyam).. he only started loving her, feeling she is essential to him after marriage...

We see a very brief ASR/La interaction pre-Khushi during the cake episode... we see the slight smile & tolerant, affectionate (OK, affectionate for ASR) attitude ... afterwards... every time we see ASR/La interaction the specter of Khushi is between them... do you think anyone can physically touch him like La did without his tactic prior permission.. no matter.. how much La can desire him... no the fact that La could wrap herself around him itself is the indication that there is a relationship.. and what other kind of relationship would ASR have apart from a pure physical one...

Also, remember La assumes she is going to share a room with him... do you think she would on her own assume it?? No she assumed it because it was already a fact.. he had already given her the right to assume it...

When she is adjusting his tie.. he is thinking of Khushi.. when she comes to his room, he is thinking of Khushi.. the only reason he doesn't share a room with her is because deep down he respects his nani, even though he rebels against her wish to conform him to norms.. and more than that his Di.. who would tolerate his foibles.. but would not want him to cross the line...

Given that it was daring for daily soap.. to show open physical relationship... they beautifully implied it.. without ever spelling it out...

As much as it was hinted that they were intimate, he never even reciprocated her hugs...her 'I love u' were never reciprocated...since he doesn't care about society and its norms, I wonder why he was shown a little withdrawn from her ..so one way, it's hard to imagine that they were actually physically intimate. I also felt he brought her home to defy his nani that he doesn't need a marriage . And they were never shown as living in as she was in a dif room. And when la broached the subject that she wanted to share his room, he didn't react. And when she tried to get close to him in the confines of his or her room, he never reciprocated..

So it's actually confusing what they actually shared.

Even though they can not show open physical relationship part they can easily show the comfortable comrade ness between ASR and LA.They never did that may be because it may reduce the impact of Arshi romance on viewers... au contraire... this was shown to contrast the leads.. one who openly hugs everyone.. the other who holds himself completely aloof.. because there is La who is comfortable enough to touch him freely.. and she does frequently..but there is ASR who holds himself aloof.. unless it is manhandling Khushi. 😉..

There is some logical mistakes on basic level also from CVs. Like ASR never agreed for marriage and he never said he would marry LA but Nani kept saying that she would never accept LA as her bahu. When he himself did want that then there was no need of that argument... Ahh.. .. when Nani declares she doesn't accept La, I think ASR says good (though need to confirm this scene)...but iit was actually Di (with Mami's reluctant help) who brought in Khushi to train La so the everyday fights between Nani & La over Rehen Sehen could be lessed.. and also slowly to make Nani accept La.. ironically this idea was given to her by none other than dearest hubby Shyam.. little did he know that Rani Sahiba will ask Khushi to train her...

Next ASR and LA both did not want to marry and ASR knew that Nani never agree for live-in then why Nani needed to accept LA and for what purpose? ... ASR only brought in La because he found out that Nani was snooping.. and trying to fix him up? If I remember correctly Khushi was somehow inadvertently involved in this too...I need to see these episodes again to refresh my memory...

ASR did not share room with LA because he respects his Nani, that's why he did not even get intimate with LA in that house. Then what is purpose of his live in relationship with LA? He only needs her for physical purpose and he only get that by marrying her if he still wanted live in that house with LA. If he did not want to do that in his house he did not even think about moving out with her. he only blackmailed his Nani to accept LA and his relation with her, but did not have intension to blackmail her to allow them to share a room. Even when LA asked him marry because she wanted to share room with him he did not respond and he did not say she can share room without marrying him. .. I think at this point La was more as a shield against Khushi.. unfortunately.. it is again Khushi herself who goads him into proposal...but I need to re-watch to refresh my memory... 😉
