True but I always wonder that at first when he attracted Kushi we clearly knew that was only attraction. He clearly knew he was loosing control and it was not love, purely physical. And always wanted to touch her. That's why he wanted to run from her. If he attracted to LA before Kushi's entry in his life then he won't feel to run away from Kushi. He might have think it's natural to get attract to a beautiful woman just like he was attracted to LA but he felt that Kushi is a threat. That means this attraction is different and he never felt that way before. So finally I concluded that may he was not attracted to LA. she was just convenient and pretty to satisfy his needs. More likely he needed a beautiful women (LA) whenever he was aroused and even that time also he can control his needs easily where as he will aroused whenever he see Kushi and he has tough time to control and thing go out of hands and mind most of the times. May be that is the difference.

i agree with you that for arnav - lavanya was most probably was a relationship of convenience and physical attraction ...but i think with khushi it was much deeper than physical attraction he had with la...by the time la was brought to rm the famous "guest house" incident had already happened...and during time he had started to feel for khushi...remember his "patta nahi kya kiya usne..." response to his di when she asked why he was bothering khushi so much (immediately after guest house incident) and also during that time he was much bothered by the thought of khushi was leaving for lucknow for good...therefore in my opinion when we were shown arnav-la vs nani tussle...arnav had already started to fall for khushi so he was no more interested in la except for using her as a shield to get attracted towards khushi and at the same time to avoid marriage talks.

I don't think ASR and La were college mates. They just worked together & eventually started dating. That's just my assumption, I maybe wrong.
He said those words to La and once he even gifted her a handbag, I think that's because he didn't want her to question him about their relationship. And maybe he didn't want her to cling to him like other girlfriends so he kept her happy. To avoid all those girly fits and tantrums, I guess 😆And he said that he'll leave the house because he wanted to avoid the topic of marriage so...emotional blackmail is the best way to convince Anjali & he use it perfectly :P Also, I think he was actually okay with his relationship with La. No demands, no commitments, and that was the only thing he wanted from a girl.
