Nice post, Lazyleaves!👍🏼

While going through each point, I was like these are exactly my reasons for not reading a story..

If an author is irregular I really appreciate if they give us a note' You know what, I was too much in love with a story and I was addicted to it.. The author always tried to give an update once in a month and later on, update ko chodo she didn't even come online in IF .. I waited for 3 months and then started stalking her profile, blog, from where I got her twitter a/c and later Facebook..Phew! In facebook, even if you send a msg the reciver wont be able to view it if the sender is not in the friends list, so, I send her my friends req.. But, she don't know my name or anything to just accept me.. After one week, she came online in IF and gave us a note.. I still remember that day, bcoz it was my third wedding anniversary on that day and still now, I think that single Note meant more than any gift I got on that day. If that author had given us a note, I woudnt have wasted my time and energy' 😔

Stories written in dialogue form don't give me the feel which I need while reading Arshi stories.😉

I don't read any other stories other than Arshi.☺️. I cant even imagine some other couples :(🤔

If the author Is not responding atleast with single like, I do feel bad.. 😒But, I try to stick on to the story if its good.👍🏼

And I believe that the author will get recognition if she writes well...the comments and likes do count, but they should be asking for this much likes this much pages of comments :( It turns off me
And once if the story is plagiarised, author wont update their story, and in that way I have lost touch with some famous stories and left it..😭 But, I can understand why they do like that.. 😊I really hate these plagiarisers '😡

To be honest though, in some stories there is no sorry even. Khushi just forgives Arnav because she loves him too much or Arnav brings her flowers or takes her on a date and she forgives him I absolutely dislike these kind of stories :/

Or worse, all it took was a forced kiss to rekindle lost feelings. Its sad because you realize this aspect of the story after reading nearly all of it to find this conclusion.

Ma Sha Allah I am doing great..:)

Yup I agree to your point many people can't convey emotions well..but at least they should not make fun of remorse thing..I mean he is doing rape,he left on alter,he beats..He does every thing bad but at the of the day I am sorry kushi..chao ji bat kahtam...in first few updates there is high voltage drama going on and after that high voltage drama there is just a mere word Sorry boht hi ala..and thats prick me..ughh...We can forgive some one obviously and sometimes not but there is a way..It felt like being girl you making fun of other..you are portraying man view like"hum jo marzi kra kahar mai hamay muaf kr dia jai ga..:X )

I agree with you with the most but I have seen many writers have if they get this much likes when they will update...
some stories I think after some time, they get boring and nothing happens or it is same story again with some little changes...
I can read a story which is on hold because for me it means the writer needs time to rethink about the story and where it going...
if they improve the story when why dont?
and also about the writers dont pressing like button if someone has comment...sorry but very few writers do press like button...
I am myself a writer and for me as I dont use the laptop all the time and my moblie I cant press like why I dont know...
but if the writer tells in the beginging of the update a thank you for the comments then for me it is okay...

but I also think for us readers if we are reading a story and you are getting a pm when it is important to comment because it is no fun to send 250 pms and when get 50-100 likes...it is hard and I dont think no one thinks it is fun to unbuddy some reader but sometimes they have to do it...

it is what I think...

I know what you mean. I love dark stories, which have logic, backdrop, strong background history. The best dark'ish stories I read were Pandora's box and Before the sun sets by munchy <3 They were amazing pieces of writing!

You have every right to voice your opinions and I am glad that you did :)

I had same experience which you described. The story and the author both too famous and favorite and recommended for awards too.
1. When I started reading, those stories never came to my expectations.

So true!

2. Some stories will start with such a promises unfortunately after three to four updates I don't know what happens.

Sab confusing lagta hai, hai na?

3. Some stories which have around 30 to 40 updates , half of update only for sex. But this has nothing to do with story.

😲 There are such stories? (Don't name them) I haven't come across such!

4. Some update like this ... Rain khushi walking deserted road... some gunda will appear. .misbehaving there comes one bright light hero comes dishum dishum then he will offer his coat. I am bored reading this. ...

Used enough number of times in movies and TVs! Novelty is very important for me :)

6. Stories in which lot of characters whom we are not known .. must strangers. A lot of strangers they have nothing to do with story.

I can't read such stories too! I don't get the IPK feel from it 😕

8. You know there is one author who once resend me one link saying I didn't comment. I was shocked to core. How can she find out it. She had lot of readers ... God

May be she was waiting for your feedback? I don't ask comments from readers but then there are a few readers whose comments I await with bated breath 😳

9. When my writers acknowledge my presence I feel so happy.

Main bhi 😃

Thank you for sharing your thoughts :)

Exactly! Its so frustrating to see the conclusion being so abrupt and stupid :/

Well I use the same method to read the story which is not so interesting.
I am okay with adult stuff if it is necessary for the story, but it should executed decently. But sadly there are only few authors in IF who can write love making scenes beautifully. I guess some of the writers are of the impression that if they use such stuff in their work they will get more readers. Thanks for replying .

I agree with you with like button thing my own like button sometimes deceives me ..we are talking about those who do press other like button but not yours mean they being partial..writting a long coment is difficult even for long update..if we can write a long comment and express everything we feel about the update although its difficult for us..a writer can atleast can reply to that comment...I love it when a writer acknowledge me..ask me an attention seeker..but i love it when a writer thankx me or reply to my comment..
