The kidnap track was a big mess. They didn't bother to deal with the sensitiveness of the issue. An important person is absent from the scene because of some work about which not a single person knows about, extends his stay which he had never done before and nobody gets even a hint that there must be something terribly wrong with the whole scenario. 😲
You are right about that trying. Unless until one enters the fray, one can never realise one's capabilities to sustain in there.
