Arnav and Khushi - Khushi and Arnav -
Just when Khushi thought that NK's attestation will be good enough to help her prove the truth about Shyam to the family, she was in for a shock. However, Arnav was not surprised at the reaction from family members.. after all, Shyam is the perfect two-faced person, shrewd and showy..
Today saw the cross examination of NK by Shyam..Today saw Khushi losing ground due to lack of any solid evidence... Today saw Khushi keep quiet more often.. Today saw NK fight the battle against the evil with full force... Today saw Payal rise to the occasion and stand up for her little sister... Today saw Mamiji not miss a single fact that she comes across... Today saw Arnav continue to gather the facts and keenly watch every person's reaction in the room to every point-counterpoint.. Today saw Shyam use his skills as a lawyer...
And The Cross Examination Continues:
Pointwa One: NK reiterates that Shyam called the travel agency to obtain an immigration stamp on Arnav;s passport that Shyam has in his possession. Shyam starts posing questions like a real lawyer now, "Ok, and where were you at that time?" "Right behind you, Jijoo! ... In your room!!" That sentence shocks the whole family... but shocks Shyam the most! His facial muscles start twitching. ..a sign of his rage... Arnav's eyes are keenly focused on Shyam's face... they do not miss a thing! Shyam advances towards NK and asks, "So, you entered my room!... You secretly investigated me.. only because you trust her make-believe story!..." Shyam points at Khushi. Then he addresses all the family members and declares, "Legally.. what he did is not valid in the court of law.. but just to calm your curiosity down let me explain.. I needed that immigration stamp for one of my clients!" NK immediately retorts, "No, Jijoo! No! I myself heard you say Nannav's name!" Shyam, againuses his skills as a lawyer and confidently and aggressively, he asks NK, "Really? Can you say with confidence that I said Saale Sahaab's name?" His tactic works... NK starts getting doubtful about his memory... " Arnav watches intently as Shyam continues, "You believe that you are very sure that I said his name and no one else's?" ..NK cannot say.. Shyam continues his attack, "OK, let's say that I believe you. but apart from me taking your word for it, do you have any other proof?" He does not even give NK chance to speak in the true court room drama style and continues, "No, right? ... Listen, you both are saying that you have been spying on me for so long, then obviously you must have collected some evidence.. right? Or may be another witness, other than you two.. tell me, is there any?" Shyam cleverly tries to find out what the two of them have. As Shyam realizes that NK and Khushi do not have any more evidence or witnesses, Shyam gains confidence again.. says, "How did you even think of talking this non-sense in front of everyone even when you have no evidence ? What did you think? ..That you will accuse and everyone will accept?" NK approaches each family member and pleads to them.. says that he and Khushi are saying the truth and asks how come they don't believe them?" Passionately he goes, "This... Jijoo.. he is the one who is saying wrong stuff!..." NK once again pleads to Anjali, "Di, at least you believe me! ..This husband of yours.. is lying!.. He has been lying to you.. to everyone.. to the household!" Arnav and Anjali observe Shyam's face closely... Anjali also focuses on NK... her fragile mind trying to absorb accusations after accusations. without any evidence!
Pointwa Two: Shyam takes this opportunity to gain back the lost ground... He says to NK that he is very simple but is being deviated by what Khushi has told him...Khushi is on the verge of breaking down... tears are to the brim in her eyes..Shyam says, "Let's just think about it...did you see me kidnap Saale Sahaab?... Wherever he was held..did you see me around there? ..tying him up or holding him..? No, right?" NK stunned - he does not have any of these answers positive. The lawyer in Shyam asks, "So then. how did you claim so confidently that I kidnapped him?" Arnav is raged at Shyam's argument but he holds his tongue and takes it all in - he will need all of it to strategize against Shyam. The soulless evil continues the winning march ...turns to Arnav and says, "Let us just ask him!... Saale Sahaab, you tell us, did you see me around even once while you were held by the kidnappers..?" Anjali hopes to get an answer from Arnav - her eyes hope! Arnav wishes he had a positive answer, but Shyam knows well that he played this game so clean that his face was never seen by Arnav all this time. " No, right?.. Okay, then , why don't you tell everyone?" Shyam challenges him, and says, "See, even he is quiet! ..and NK Bhai.. he is just repeating what Khushi ji said... and her...she is just lying!... Falsely blaming me!... I don't understand why the two of you are doing this to me?"...Ah..frustration mixed with rage is starting to build in Arnav's eyes. Khushi's eyes show frustration, mixed with tears and immense vulnerability... As if all of the energy has been sucked out of her arguments. Shyam dares her, "Khushi ji, what are you going to gain with this lie?... I just don't understand!" Khushi feels frustrated.. Family members are all confused...
Rise of Third Witness - Payal: All of a sudden the atmosphere fills up with a soft but confident voice, "She is not lying!" Not just Shyam but Aakash and others are stunned too. Arnav somewhere feels a small relief. With all eyes focused on her, Payal takes the center stage, walks in elegantly and faces Shyam, looks him into the eye and says, "You are the one who is inappropriately accusing Khushi!.. You have probably forgotten that not just Khushi knows the real you but, even I know what you really are!" Everyone is very surprised at Payal's revelation - Anjali is shocked. Her remaining hope starts fading now... Shyam gulps down... for a second he is surprised to have this cool coal start burning so bright and strong unexpectedly that the flames might just get him. Payal continues, "That's why don't you even try to act naive..." Aakash surprised at Payal's revelation asks, "Payal, what reality are you talking about?" Payal springs forward to Aakash with high hopes, "Aakash, what Shyam ji is saying about Khushi is a white lie! What Khushi is saying about him is the truth!" Shyam just interrupts their conversation, "This is what was lacking! No need to feel surprised! - I did not expect much from you anyway.. You will support your sister after all..very valid!" He takes the know-it-all attitude and says to Aakash, "Saale Sahaab, don't pay much attention to what she says, because, elder ones always cover up for younger ones in a family... even if they are wrong!" Payal aggressively answers, "But Khushi is not saying anything wrong!" Just then Mami inerjects, "You just shut up, khoon bhari taang!... Both you sisters are very wrong!" NK shakes his head with disapproval. Arnav's eyes show a hint of 'that's not a surprise'... Khushi though, is surprised, after all Mami had helped her a lot, as Mami goes on, "I've known this from the beginning.. that you are wrong.." Khushi says with a heavy, emotional voice, "Mami ji.." but before she could go on NK interrupts, "Just a minute!" Arnav's eyes show a flicker of hope.
Pointwa Three: "Just a minute, Jijoo! Proof! You want proof, right? .. That locket of yours.. no, that pendant of yours.. that you always wear...I will bring it from your room right away to show to everyone.." Shyam acts as if he does not know what he is talking about... it rings a bell in Anjali's mind. Arnav, Khushi, Nani, and Mami look at him with new hope..but with a lot of questions in their eyes.. NK starts going towards stairs...then stops and turns around and says, "Oh, Yes! For your information, "That pendant is not a pendant but is a pen drive!" Shyam acts as if he does not know what NK is talking about, Arnav just gained more valuable information...Aakash is confused.. NK continues, "Yes, a pen drive... an USB... that has soft copies of the false 'Will'... and that one has Nannav's signatures too obtained by Jijoo!" Arnav just got a validation of Khushi's point about the 'Will'. "Per that Will, Nannav has written all his property in Jijoo's name!" Everyone but Shyam is surprised to hear NK's version. "But don't worry.. wait here..I will get it right away!" Nk starts walking towards the stairs again when Shyam calls him, "Just a minute, NK Bhai! Are you talking about this pendant?" Shyam pulls out the pendant. Khushi realizes right away that Shyam has already exchanged the pendant, that's why he is showing it off so confidently! But NK is still not aware of Shyam's shrewdness... he comes, grabs the pendant from Shyam's hand, tries to open it .. struggles but... it does not.. after much effort, it dawns upon NK, he looks at Shyam with realization and says, "You exchanged it, Jijoo, right?" He rushes to Khushi and says, "Look at this Khushi ji, Jijoo has exchanged the pen drive pendant with our replica!" The family members watch with welled up eyes, Arnav's eyes communicate the realization of Shyam's planned moves... NK says to Khushi, "I am sure that he found this after searching your room!"
Pointwa Four: Shyam immediately rushes to his shield! He grabs Anjali by her shoulders and says, 'Look at them, Rani Sahiba! What's wrong with them?..." Turns to NK and asks furiously, "NK Bhai, did you even see a pen drive or you just believed her non sense?" Now NK gets outraged, "Jijoo, what do you mean? I saw you! And we saw what's on your pen drive!" Shyam makes hand gestures in frustration pointing out to Anjali his outrage, as NK continues, "And yes, we know your password too!...I had installed a webcam in your room!" Arnav watches everyone carefully at this new revelation. Anjali is getting tired of too much information that makes her even more overwhelmed..Everyone is surprised to hear about the webcam..Aaaksh asks, "What? A webcam, NK Bhai?" Nk tells the matter of fact, "Yes, Aakash bhai, a webcam! We just had too!" NK then turns confidently to Shyam and says, "Jijoo, you said a password for voice authentication, right?" Now Shyam is all attention.. he did not know that NK knew this much! Arnav's eyes and ears are on the money...he is very vigilant now..NK says, "Khushi ji,, you had recorded the voice of Jijoo in your phone..when the computer asked for password for the pen drive, right? ..remember?" He turns to Shyam and says, "Remember..I love you Khushi.." as soon as the words leave his mouth, NK realizes what he blurted out! Everyone's eyes are wide with shock now! Shyam never saw this coming. Arnav's gaze - filled with hate and disgust - settles on Shyam, his jaw tight and face restrained..Arnav knows that this must be true. Shyam notices Anjali's shocked face and he acts quickly... she is his shield! He needs her to be on his side to win this game! He immediately holds her, turns her to face him and acts outraged as well as stunned, "Ra..ni..sa..hiba! ..this stuff...Oh, she has crossed the limits of humility!" Points finger at Khushi as stunned family members observe the drama unfold.."There's a limit to my tolerance!.. First these two..." Anjali cuts him off by raising her hand.. indicating that he should stop talking.. her eyes filled with tears but face full of determination..Arnav observes her keenly... Remember, this is the situation Arnav had tried to avoid at all cost...now that it is out in open, how will she react.. his mind wonders..Shyam stunned at her reaction.. NK very pleased..Everyone watches Anjali keenly as she starts talking, says to Shyam, "Stop saying inappropriate things!" Then she immediately turns to NK and Khushi and yells at them, "Stop, both of you!" Arnav immediately realizes that she is reacting as expected...Khushi and Nk are stunned..it takes few seconds for Shyam to realize what is happening and then relief appears on his face as Anjali and Nk argue.."Di, please, believe me!." Anjali authoritatively yells at him, "Enough, NK Bhai! I have heard enough today!" Arnav realizes her pain but feels the reality sinking in.. Nani feels sorry for Anjali...Khushi tries, "Di, believe me..I am telling the truth!" "No, Khushi ji! Now I can't believe anything you say!" Pain and hurt flows through Anjali's eyes as she breaks down. Arnav realizes her pain but somewhere this is much milder reaction Anjali gives than expected by him...Mami and Nani's eyes become tearful watching Anjali's pain and hurt..
Pointwa Five: Opportunistic Shyam grabs the chance, shakes his head in disgust, supports an uncontrollably crying Anjali and says, "I am very sad today.. look, Khushi!" He addresses her without the respectful "ji" in front of everyone. Arnav's keen eyes recognize how Shyam is utilizing this moment to turn Anjali against Khushi.."How sad it is.. all because of you.." Khushi probably does not realize the aggravation Anjali going through, she says to Anjali, "Di, think for once with a cool mind..you will believe that I am telling you the truth!" NK adds, "Yes, Di!" Shrewd Shyam plays his cards well, holds Anjali affectionately, supports her and outraged says to NK, "If you are playing a practical joke then stop it right now!... This joke is getting lowly now!" Now aggravated NK yells back, "It's not a joke, Jijoo!" He turns to Khushi and says, "You recorded Jijoo's voice in your phone..Please, give me your phone!" Khushi tells him, "Nanhe ji, when I spoke with you last..he snatched away my phone!" Arnav's eyes show disappointment as another proof that Khushi cannot produce is revealed pushing them towards losing battle...
Pointwa Six: Khushi asks everyone, "Why don't you believe me?.. He is the one who has given so much pain.. caused so much hurt to this family!" Nani, Aakash do not know who to believe. Anjali is just too overwhelmed.. Shyam is pleased to see Anjali still being his shield.. Arnav is watching them closely..keenly.. he needs a strong strategy... Mami walks over to Khushi determined, says, "And you did not hurt this family?" Khushi does not know what Mami is talking about.. Shyam is relieved..Mami says, "If you care so much about this family then what happened this morning?" Arnav does not know what's coming next! Mami says, "Where did this concern disappear when you asked Damad ji to divorce Anjali?" Nani and Aakash are stunned. Payal is more worried. Arnav digests this better..NK, Khushi and Shyam watch her.. Anjali overwhelmed.. Shyam looks at her face.. she is not as bad as he might have expected...he does not know that Mami had already told her about it..Shyam plays the protective husband and holds her close..as Mami takes a dig at Khushi aggressively, "Where was this concern when you said that this was the right time to divorce Anjali as Arnav was not here!" Khushi is shocked at Mami's revelation..
Pointwa Seven: Shyam is stunned but his shrewd mind is thinking quickly as he focuses on Anjali and avoids eye contact with rest of the family... Arnav watches Khushi ..his eyes full of understanding of her pain, her vulnerability, pride for her and a message... 'this is a battle - fight it with strength as you have been'...Mami demands an answer... Khushi says, "Mami ji, I did not want to do anything like this.. I just wanted Shyam ji's signatures on the property papers that said he does not hold any rights on Arnav ji's property!.. I just wanted him to think that those were divorce papers.." Arnav watches her with eyes full with pain..as unpleasant things are being revealed in front of the family... Anjali starts feeling dizzy.. she has had too much in a day.."I knew that Shyam ji won't sign anything just like that!" Khushi says. Nani, Aakash are stunned! Arnav is counting down in his mind.. Shyam pulls his gaze to avoid eye contact..Mami starts thinking about what Khushi said... Payal hopes that Mami believes her..Mami says, "Then show those papers to everyone! Where are those papers?" Arnav's eyes almost pray, 'not again,Khushi..please...' Mami demands, "I say bring those papers right now!" Khushi rushes to the stairs when she remembers that she had kept the papers in her hand pouch and that she lost it when she went to the warehouse! Her head starts spinning..she holds her head in frustration...Shrewd Shyam's sharp eyes notice that quickly and he jumps on the opportunity, "What happened, Khushi ji?" Khushi turns around with tearful eyes, depicting her vulnerability.. Poor Arnav's eyes go, "not again!" Shyam's eyes go, "Great!" As the family members watch her in awe, Shyam says confidently, "Even this go around.. you must have some or other excuse for not having the proof again, right?.. I must have snatched that from you..or.. may be it fell down and got lost somewhere!" Oh, how smart this guy is! Arnav's eyes recognize that Khushi does not have the papers..Khushi rushes to Nk and says, "I put those papers in my bag due to him.. and lost the bag when I went to the warehouse to free Arnav ji.." Arnav watches her.. then Shyam as he says, "How much more will you lie, Khushi ji?"
Pointwa Eight: Mami shakes her head in disbelief..as Shyam goes on a rampage, "..you have no evidence to prove what you say..but you keep saying inappropriate things!...If I knew that those papers were divorce papers ..why would I sign those?.. " Arnav watches Shyam keenly as if he is about to step into a web...Shyam says to Anjali, "I cannot even think like this..then forget about signing such papers, Rani Sahiba!" Now Mami cannot take it! "Why would I leave Rani Sahiba?" Shyam asks Khushi. Anjali cries silently as it is difficult for her to know who is right..Mami has had enough, she bites her lower lip and decides to make a move! Another one that Shyam did not see coming! Mami says in a controlled voice, "Damad ji, do not think that I did not hear what you said this morning!" Shyam is stunned! Nani looks at Aakash, 'what's going on?' Aakash consoles her with his eyes. Shyam is not the only one who is stunned... so is Arnav!..'What new information Mami is going to bring forward?' his gaze says. Mami says to Shyam, "I agree that Phati saree..Khushi.. brought up the topic of divorce..but you are the one who said 'Yes', right?" Oh, how I loved Mami...mua..mua..mua..Someone had the courage to ask both the sides for explanation finally...Whole family including Arnav is now surpprised.. Arnav's mind now thinking fast..Shaym's mind is racing..what should he come up with? ..He makes some non-purposeful nervous movements as Mami demands, "Why did you say 'Yes'?" Anjali is broken inside..watches with hurt filled eyes.. Mami screams with hurt, "Why would you divorce my dear Anjali?" AND THE FIRST CONTRADICTING STATEMENT LEAVES SHYAM'S MOUTH, " Yes, Mami ji, I did say 'Yes'!" Anjali now loses it..she starts losing her balance due to dizziness...hopelessness...Arnav has slight disbelief in his eyes to see Shyam accept..rest of the family is shocked! .Arnav supports Anjali.. but Shyam quickly moves to hold Anjali and says to her, "Rani Sahiba, please listen to what I have to say completely first! Yes, I agreed with her.. but I never wanted this to be unveiled like this to the family.." Arnav's eyes show a concern as to what is he about to say now..Shyam goes, "I said yes to her just to get her off my back. just so that she stops chasing me down like a crazy person!.." Now Arnav's eyes harden..if he could kill Shyam with his eyes..Shyam would be dead now! Why is he not surprised to see hear Shyam say this.. well, because he knows what lowly person Shyam is! Arnav watches Shyam with disgust as he continues, "For the sake of family.. for the sake of dignity of this family.. I had to say 'Yes'!" He says as if what a great person he is and he is the one who is being victimized.. Khushi cannot believe that he is accusing her of trapping him!
Has the moment arrived yet for Arnav to show or say or both what he thinks? Definitely close..

Untold Emotions
Please read the pointwas above.. the untold emotions had to be mixed with the description and analysis of the scenes..
Arnav seems to be weaving all the information pieces together with the reality..Payal's affirmation today, though not complete has brought forward someone else who knows Shyam's initial deceit... Mami's looking at the facts mission is helpful to keep the sides balanced...Khushi and Arnav's unspoken communication is very important so that he does not get accused of just taking Khushi's word for it without listening to the whole thing... NK has just realized how much more shrewd and deceitful Shyam is.. more than he could ever imagine.. Nani - the person who has seen a lot in life is frankly just stunned..
Shyam has three more years, at least, over Khushi that the family has spent with him... To just take Khushi's word for it when she cannot produce a single evidence, despite saying she has it, does not help them just blindly accept what she says. They are still weighing in on Shyam.. but he definitely has the advantage of being known to the family longer.. Arnav, though gathering facts, his silence now will have to be broken..
Anjali surprisingly takes things better than Arnav ever expected.. the problem is that she has been through tremendous roller coaster ride this day.. anyone will get overwhelmed.. Just like Arnav did on the day of their marriage... With Shyam's expertise in twisting the facts around, she is even more baffled..but luckily Mami does not lose the sight of truth...
Here come the first time lovers, trading the path of their first love...on the verge of big melt down as the show down continues..one is revealing .the reality of the culprit as teh other one is silently supporting and coming up with a strategy...❤️❤️❤️
