(First Love, For The Very First Time!)

My Heart Will Go On!

Arnav and Khushi - Khushi and Arnav -

Just when Arnav thought that he had gotten rid of all the offenders and he and Khushi were safe... destiny would play the game of life and death with Khushi...

Today saw Arnav's heart wrenching lamentation for his love...Today saw Arnav's inner most layers..come unwound to reveal Khushi is stamped everywhere on his heart and on his mind... Today saw a new beginning of a togetherness in the life of these two first time lovers... Today saw the journey of Arnav.. down the memory lane.. to prove trust, love and respect ...he always shared with Khushi but never recognized...

As Arnav continues CPR.. tears trickling down his face... still making an effort to talk to Khuhsi...his mind goes down the memory lane.. he remembers some of Khushi's sarcastic remarks..."Then the best moment of your life and the worst moment of Ranjha's life will come..." Arnav remembers asking, "Means?" and the answer Khushi gave looking gorgeous but with a flat face..."I will die!"...Arnav breaks down... but he continues.. he also remembers another one from Khushi, "Just imagine.. I have become a star up in the sky too...the brightest one.. third one from the right!" ..."You can't do this to me, Khushi!" Tearful Arnav says... checks back on her breathing.. Nothing! He gives her mouth to mouth breaths for resuscitation...

But.. Khushi does not move or open her eyes.. tearful Arnav.. holds her in his arms.. caresses her face.. kisses her on forehead...pleads to her.. "I cant..without you..."..."You can't do this to me, Khushi!" Life without Khushi is now unimaginable to Arnav... this moment has become the truth of his life and the moment of truth for love of his life! ... " No, Khushi.. don't.. You can't, Khushi..."... Arnav laments... his soul. his heart.. his mind... starting to lose hope..

All of a sudden... his mind brings back a beautiful memory from Holi.. When Khushi asked, "Aisa kyuon hota hai,jab bhi aap humare paas aate hai toh humari dil ki dhadkan tez ho jaati hai?" "Why does my heart start racing every time you come close to me?"

Arnav's answers, "Jab tum mere paas hoti ho toh tumhare dil ki dhadkanoan ke saath saath mere dil ki dhadkane bhi tej ho jaati hai! Humari dhadkane ek ho jaati hai.." "When you are with me, my heart also beats faster...yours and mine.. our heartbeats unite.." Desperate Arnav.. heartbroken.. tearful.. takes Khushi's hand and places it on his heart...hold his love close to his heart..as he continues to lament... Soon enough Khushi's fingers move.. Arnav still unaware.. Khuhsi's eyes flicker..Arnav still is crying.. he says with utmost pathos in his voice, "Khushshi..." "Hunh.." Khushi responds... it takes few moments to sink in.. but when it does.. Arnav's face changes emotions like rain and clouds playing with sunshine...

As Khushi regains consciouness.. coughs up to get more air in her lungs... Arnav's heart jumps with joy.. his eyes starts twinkling behind the tears..A sweet smile spreads on his face... he gently hold her close to him and hugs her tightly... caresses her face with her face in his hands...his voice cracks up with relief and joy, "Kh..u..shi..!" "Arnav...j.."Khushi tries.. "Shhh..shh..."ASR wakes up and calms down his love.. " No need to shed any tears now.." he tells her gently..she has no idea what her love been just through...the biggest test of life and death..she keeps looking at Arnav's face and finally she reaches for his face.. Arnav grabs her hand and plants an emotionally heavy kiss on her palm...

Then Arnav reaches for Khushi's forehead and kisses her...Khushi still unaware what happened... all she feels is love.. from the person she wanted it most from.. Arnav cannot stop caressing her... hugging her... his heart finally relieved... his face shows all the relief, pain... wait.. longing.. and the joy! Khushi.. just immerses herself in this shower of love.. being in the embrace of her beloved... the safest zone in the world!

more moments immersed in love...Finally, Arnav gets up... picks up Khushi's dupatta.. and respectfully places it on her shoulders.. he tries to stand her up but she cannot.. Arnav goes to pick her up in his arms when Khushi reaches for his tank top and hold on to it.. this brings a happy smile to Arnav's face.. he looks smilingly at Khushi.. . she has no idea what Arnav's mind is going through at this moment...but that does not stop her from reciprocating his joy with a smile and welled up eyes...Arnav lifts her up in his arms.. for few moments they get lost in each others eyes..Khushi caress Arnav's face with her left hand while holding on t him with her other..They both never break their gaze ...looking at each other...Arnav takes confident steps forward...The first time lovers...start a new journey lost in each others eyes.. wrapped in each others arms... their faces depicting the joy mixed with relief and a subtle eagerness their hearts have inside...to shower each other with their love and to immerse themselves into their love...

(Author's Note: The leads excelled to day beyond limits.. playing an almost dead person for this long when someone is hugging and caressing and crying.. is no joke! Showering all those emotions ion your almost dying love is no joke either.. The director scored when Khushi responded in "Hunh.." to Arnav's "Khushi!" when he expected it teh least.. it was just PEERRRFECT! Aranv said Khushi probably as many times today as she said "Arnav ji yesterday!"

Anjali and Shyam is another tremendous pair.. their own vulnerability and shrewdness respectively is potrayed so beautifully that one cannot stop getting aggravated.. Mami, Nani - just beutiful in their emotions..)

The Bridge of Trust: Arnav and Khushi reach Raizada Mansion...RM.. Shantivan...Arnav helps Khushi on the stairs..As Arnav reaches for the door bell, Khushi stops Arnav and says taht she has something important to share with him.. Arnav says that she shpould not stress herself now and that they could talk later...But then, Khushi asks him the million dollar question, "Wouldn't you want to know who kidnapped you?" I believe the tone of her voice leads Arnav to have a suspicion... Khushi does not test his patience thankfully and reveals, "It's Shyam ji!" "W H a t?" Arnav's shocked! Khushi confirms taht she is not mistaken and she is pretty sure that it was Shyam! Arnav asks her if she has any proof to prove it in front of others...

In the mean time, shrewd Shyam, the soulless eveil, learns taht Arnav and Khushi have gotten away ... he stages his accident and gives credit to an imaginary client of his to have brought him home despite his injuries... The innocent wife that Anhjali is.. her deep rooted trust in her husband ..just shows how devoted she is and how her trsut is not to be shaken by some accusations... she is in tears looking at her injured husband.. busy nursing him.. the family members surround him.. Manorama is the one who would not let go of things and would ask all the timely questions.. But Anjali stops her saying that she is not intrested in asking anything...


Just then Khushi enters RM...seeing her injured.. everyone runs to run at the door..worried sick everyone including Mami asks her what happened to her.. Khushi keeps quiet... Shyam is worried sick to his stomach is Khushi might be planning to spill the beans... As teh soft hearted Anjali shows that she is clearly confused as to what her emotions are at this time.. neither affection nor hate ...just a question... her eyes stay focused on Khushi but evil Shyam grabs the opportunity and jopins rest of the family and asks Khushi what happened to her!









MOst Precious Moment: That's when the doorway lights up with the most gorgeous entry of a sweaty, tall, tired, bruised but glowing ASR... in dirty clothes. half dressed.. dusty shoes.. Everyone in teh family panics.. Nani puts two and together and ask what happened to Khushi and him - both? While Anjali true to her nature, this time cannot chose her husband over her beloved brother.. runs to see him worried sick.. Khushi and Arnav keep giving Shyam penetrating looks.. Earleir when Mami stares at him as he tries fake the inquiry at Khushi..his eyes do not miss her stare.. Now, he is worried sick if they both are going to reveal anything but.. his shield.. his Anjali is so far with him... But when Arnav stays quiet.. Mami hugs.. breaks down.. true to her nature.. starts asking all teh right questions.. "How did ypou free yourself?" "Did you call police yourself?" Nani and Anjali go crazy asking following questions led by Mami's questions...Aakash and Payal watch the drama unfold... Mami suggests that now that Arnav is back they should reveal the truth.. that drives Anjali almost insane.. with worry and curiosity... Arnav looks at Khushi .. his eyes ask her.. "Shall I?" Khushi nods affirmative... I loved it! I loved it! I loved it! Arnav asking Khushi if it is Ok to go ahead and reveal.. Khushi communicating affirmative.. the bond of trust could not be stronger.. My eyes - already tearful - started trickling down the tears with joy.. with relief. with that sweet prickly feeling that one just has to experience..deeply rooted in love...Aranv and Khushi's love has attained this level now..
