Yuzvendra Chahal rubbishes dating speculations with RJ Mahvash: 'She was called a homewrecker, it was hard…'

In a recent interview, Yuzvendra Chahal addressed the public speculation about his personal life, specifically the rumors linking him to RJ Mahvash after his divorce from Dhanashree Verma. The cricketer provided clarity on his relationship with Mahvash and discussed the emotional challenges he faced after the separation.

When asked if there’s anything going on with Mahvash or anyone else, Yuzi told Raj Shamani, “No, there’s nothing. People can think whatever they want to think." When asked about falling in love again, he admitted, “It will take time to process. I need to gather myself. I’m not afraid to fall in love again, but I’m scared of losing the person because I get attached with all my heart."

Regarding the rumors that connected him with RJ Mahvash, Chahal shared how the online speculation had negatively affected both of them. He described the impact the rumors had. “For the first time, when I was seen with someone, people started linking us right away. Even she clarified it, but it was very hard for her. She was called a homewrecker… people said really nasty things. I felt terrible," he shared.

He also described how a casual Christmas dinner with friends had been misinterpreted and exaggerated by the public. He explained that they had a Christmas dinner with five people, but the photo was cropped to make it seem like it was just the two of them on a date. This situation had escalated to the point where they couldn't even spend time with friends without being concerned about the public's perception and reactions.

Another incident that caused him concern was their appearance together at a hotel shortly before his departure for the airport. She offered to give him a ride, and while they were waiting for the car, someone recorded a video of them. He mentioned that he was simply fixing his hair, but people began to make hurtful and baseless assumptions, such as they were leaving a hotel room. He stated that this experience deeply upset him and caused him significant emotional pain.

Mahvash is starting a new phase in her career. She recently made her acting debut in Pyar Paisa Profit, a series adapted from Durjoy Datta’s novel, Now That You’re Rich… Let’s Fall In Love. The show, streaming on Amazon MX Player, stars Pratik Yadav, Mihir Ahuja, Neil Bhoopalam, Nitish Sharma, Shivangi Khedkar, and Ashish Raghav.
