ROFL. I think if she posted this on LM's wall, many would actually misinterpret the sarcasm and take this as her real opinion. 🤣

Proof lies in the fact that even if in today's episode we see ASR giving Khushi a tender look, or cursing himself for treating her that way, or something like that, most of the viewers WOULD be happy and say, "look he's repenting it and his earlier reaction was just due to his anger. awww".

Did someone say Khushi CHOSE to be a victim?

Good Lord... WTH? So if Arnav had raped her instead of throwing her out of the room, it would have been because she CHOSE it?

Oh Bravo!! 👏 So well reasoned!! I'm running out of imaginary medals for the best defense of abuse posts.

HOH, This is my reply to another post. There a Khushis in real life. Pls read the red part.Police in India accused a girl of bringing trouble on herself.

Its simple why we are seeing this show. Entertainment,Entertainment,Entertainment . How much ever we despise this abuse shown , we can't deny that it still has something for us to discuss about. Everyday once the episode is done, we come dissect each and every action. All the action invoke positive and negative emotions in us. I do watch a LOT of shows but I never bother to discuss any as they are just time pass shows with no actual pull for me.

We are being so sensitive about a show,But what is happening in India? Just saw the news where Noida S.Police Commissioner publicly blamed a 17 year old girl ,who got gang raped by 5 men, that she brought it upon herself by getting drunk. Moreover they released her personal information too. The girl is traumatized, she was forcefully made to drink alcohol, was held down and raped ! Thats what is happening in reality !!!! How atrocious is that?

Anyways I'm really really really happy to see so many great posts and hope that this frank, honest, unbiased topic members are not discouraged from saying what is in their mind. This forum is in dire need of unbiased opinions, realist who say don't sugar-coat all the misdeeds, a realist who can differentiate between an actors and the character they play. I respect everyone's POV and demand the same too without being labelled as anything, drooler or Basher or Feminist or Mahela Morcha or rest of the labels.

Loved all the replies too.

i saw it in times of india today!! it made me sick!...i live in noida these days too...
India and specially delhi is becoming so apathetic to its female population!!..police divulged her personal details and also made remarks like "she drank vodka of her own free will"...yeah as if that justifies anything???
on the top of that we have soaps where abuse is disguised as passion and glorified!
and on the top of everything we have WOMEN WHO BELIEVE THAT ITS ALWAYS THE WOMAN'S FAULT!W*F!!...and that too educated women here on IF!

i feel sick to the core!

He is the YOUNGER brother who has taken life altering decisions about his older sister. Without her knowledge and consent-there are many older sisters on the forum right now-how many of you would be okay with your kid sister/brother deciding to keep the small detail about your spouse being a psychotic cheating asshole to himself/herself? To "spare" you the shock of knowing something that is relevant to your marriage?

To decide for you that you get to keep a child born into a marriage you'll find out in oh, six months time, was a lie since your spouse never loved you all this while? To let you become a single parent?

I dont think he values Anjali's intelligence, or her rights as a goddamn adult, to make her own choices, or even allows her to make her own decisions. As long as she wears pretty saris and makes random decisions about pujas and rasams, you know, girly crap, she should be fine. The men should do the heavy lifting of dealing with things like infidelities and attempted bigamy. Why trouble Anjali's pretty little head with such details?

Her pain will cause HIM pain, so hey, lets just make happy happy with the lusting red eyed monster in the bedroom next door.

And in the meantime...hello, brand new bride / punching bag!

I could not agree with you more! Anjali is being treated like a child, who cant take the truth! First Khushi made the collosal mistake of not disclosing the truth to Anjali or to Arnav RE Shyam! (NOW she is paying for that!)...
THEN just coz his sister is pregnant, ASR decides to keep the truth from his sister, only to see after 6 months IF he can reveal it to her, while giving his preverted Jija 1 more chance to "Change"!! Like THAT is possible! Didnt he hear with his own ears him telling Khushi his wife meant NOTHING to him and he himself admitted to ASR that he NEVER loved Anjali! So what is he hoping to gain by keeping this man in his sister's life? EVEN if she is pregnant with his child, does that change the sort of person HE is? Once a cheater always a cheater! He is a pervert! He will never change!
Did he once stop to think if his sister will want to have a child with a pevert like Shyam? If she will want to keep him in her life after knowing what he is? NO! Did he ONCE give Khushi a chance to explain HER side of things? Did he even have the decencey to tell Khushi that he knows about her and his Jija? NO!This shows that ASR has a basic lack of respect for females!
The SP channel does not have "Nayi Soch" at all! They just show abuse and degeneration of females for entertainment!
I think Nissar Parvez, Gul Khan and even LM should be ASHAMED for giving into the SP formula of showing "brow-beaten" females who get ill treated by husbands or other authority figures in their life...JUST so they can make money! They have SOLD OUT for the big bucks of SP!
DIGUSTING!

This domestic violence is vicious cycle, I have read that the abuser has led an abusive life.

i was reading back and realized i missed this. yeah, you're absolutely right...it is a vicious cycle. My grandfather(dad's father) was an abuser too. Was in the army, so he was physically intimidating as well. My dad hates him, tells us he ruined his childhhod. And then I wonder "haven't you done the same?".

We already know Arnav has a bitter past, something he hasn't been able to get closure with...and that's where the violent streak stems from. But you can't romanticize that, let him deal with it first. "His love for Khushi is so strong that it will change him and help him heal". and let me tell you, it can't. Take my own mother for example, she hasn't been able to change my dad because he is still so bitter about whatever happened to him, and he never got a chance to get it out of his system. This relationship they're aiming for between arnav and khushi is already weak, and on top of that, they hardly talk to each other...so all that's left is intense physical attraction.

TRUE THAT. It's DISGUSTING how women themselves go on saying stuff like "the girl invited it upon herself". W*F??? Just last week, I was at my training, and this pathetic lecturer who happened to be a woman in her forties or something was telling the class how girls should not behave a certain way and then start crying when they get molested or raped and how they should stay away from going to shady areas... Disgusting attitude much???
WHY the eff should girls stop wearing skirts and stuff??? WHY should they go through the ogling and lecherous remarks???

exactly.. I understood this when I've entered this forum.. coz luckily I dont belong to such backward family values where women are not treated equally like men..
and here reading all the drooler's post defending their oh-so-sexy Raizada opens a new but appalling world to me and nothing else..
And I am thankful that some members think decently like this...
And I also want to share something that after friday's episode 2 of my friends were so much disgusted that they unsubscribe from starplus..
and for me also I would like to say that Rabba-Ve has lost its essence.. I would be scarred from Arnav's horrible actions no matter how badly he remorses later(though I highly doubt that CVs will make Arnav remorse coz its a typical SP serial.)
all I want to say that there are many sensible people out there who wont digest any inhumane acts in the name of romance.. So CV's should think twice before airing, coz sometimes plan of garnering TRP may backfire..

The way i see the posts in the other thread even if he had tried to force himself on her on the SR night out of his so called 'anger, pain and jealousy' viewers wouldn't have been appaled but instead would have been turned on without realising at the end of the day arnav was commiting and they are witnessing domestic rape.. really saddened by such naivety.I dont know how he will redeem himself after fridays act but i am guessing he will be sleeping one day beside the pool and eventually they will be sharing the same room and i am scared to think of poor khushi's plight. God knows what has gotten into her..stand up for yourself woman.
Now,there seems to be a very thin line between shyam and ASR's character. Both of them are good at manhandling and blackmailing khushi.. only difference is Arnav is not accused of infidelity and murder god knows if his anger can make him cross that line too?i really wish CV's would have played this scene a bit differently and not ruined ASR's character..
