Chapter ~ 3
Lakshman looked at his Mila in amazement , he stared at her from head to toe , she was looking so beautiful in the dress that he gifted her on karwa chauth.
He stood and moved towards her while Urmila blushed.
"Mila !!", said Lakshman smiling brightly.
"Yes , Arya !!", said Urmila looking up to him with a naughty smile.
"Very beautiful" , said Lakshman staring at her.
"Please control your emotions , kids are watching us", whispered Urmila.
"Let them" , Lakshman smiled wickedly.
Seeing this Angad and Chandraketu started giggling and Urmila blushed for a moment.
"She is ofcourse very beautiful , as she is our Maa and we love her loads ", saying this Angad and Chandraketu hugged their Maa and kissed on her cheeks.
Urmila smiled at them.
"Do you both not love me ?" , Lakshman acted rusht and turned away.
Urmila giggled as she knew he was acting while Angad Chandraketu became serious on the fact that their Pa is rusht with them.
"Pa" , Angad said worriedly .
"Don't talk to me , you both don't love me" , saying this Lakshman frowned.
Seeing their Pa rusht with them , Angad and Chandraketu became sad but Lakshman had a hearty laugh .
"Pa, Listen , toh", requested Chandraketu.
"No , i don't want to talk to you both" , acted Lakshman and began moving .
Angad and Chandraketu looked towards each other and ran to him and jumped on Lakshman's back making him lost his balance.
Urmila smiled brightly seeing this .
"We both love you loads , Pa , don't be rusht with us", saying this they both kissed on Lakshman's cheeks together.
Lakshman smiled seeing his sons who love him and Urmila so much.
"Hmmm...Let me think" , Lakshman said with a teasing smile .
"Pa", kids frowned and holded him so tight that Lakshman fall on ground due go disbalance.
Urmila began laughing and seeing her, Lakshman too began laughing.
"Ok...ok , I am not rusht with you both , now get up from me , please ", said Lakshman laughing.
Hearing this , kids got up from Lakshman and smiled brightly and Lakshman too stood .
Urmila couldn't stop herself from laughing.
"You...both are too...much", said Urmila laughing.
"Ma , what to do , we can't see that our Pa is rusht with us", said kids looking at each other.
Seeing this both Urmila and Lakshman hugged their kids lovingly.
Angad and Chandraketu loved being pampered by Urmila and Lakshman.
"Maa , we want to see your swordfight", requested Chandraketu winking at his twin .
"What !!" , Urmila got shocked.
Angad too began pleading while Lakshman smiled naughtily.
"No , this is not possible", replied Urmila .
"Maa, please " , both kids pleaded making puppy faces.
"Mila , if the kids are pleading so much , then do naa", Lakshman joined .
"Ok...Ok ...But with whom" , Urmila asked.
"Paa", both shouted.
Urmila looked stunned at her kids while Lakshman look at them with "Very good , my sons" look.
"Arya ?", asked Urmila .
"Yes , Pa" , they shouted.
"Your wishes are increasing they by day , seriously", said Urmila irritatedly.
"Mila , do naa ... are you scared of getting defeated from me" , Lakshman said with a teasing smile.
"Scared ...Me...Huh !!!", said Urmila .
"Yesss", said Lakshman looking at her .
"Ok , Iam ready" , Urmila sighed.
Lakshman and Urmila both took the swords that was kept on a table nearby.
Angad and Chandraketu were excited to core to see this scene first time in their life.
Urmila glanced at Lakshman while Lakshman too glanced at her back.
The swords clashed leaving kids look at them with their mouth open.
They both were well trained in sword fighting , Urmila felt a new excitement to do swordfighting because she was doing it after many years while Lakshman kept looking at her and was excited to core as in general , doing swordfighting was normal for him but it became special because his opponent was his Mila, first time.
"I will win for sure", said Urmila while doing swordfighting with Lakshman.
"If i will let you win , only then u can win", smiled Lakshman teasingly.
"Let's see , then" , Urmila replied.
Angad and Chandraketu were giggling on one side looking at this sight.
Lakshman and Urmila were at their best , it was difficult to guess that who will win.
Hanuman was searching for Lakshman as what he is doing now because kids dragged Lakshman to some place.
He came the place , the sight he saw , he hid behind pillars.
"Hmm...so this is the reason , kids dragged him here", Hanuman said to himself with a naughty smile.
" I should better move from here ",blushed Hanuman looking at Lakshman and Urmila
Saying this , Hanuman ran away from there.
"Who will win , Angad ? " , asked Chandraketu surprised looking at him and then at parents.
Angad too was clueless about the winner.
Shatrughan was roaming around in corriders where he heard sounds of swords clashing .
"Clash of swords , what is going on", said Shatrughan to himself wondering.
Shatrughan ran to the practice area where he saw a uncommon sight , Lakshman and Urmila were charging swords on each other while kids Angad and Chandraketu enjoying the sight.
He got stunned intially but smiled evily because he is now upto some mischief.
"Bhaiya...Bhabhi !!!!", Shatrughan shouted.
Lakshman and Urmila got shocked hearing voice of Shatrughan and looked towards him.
"What is going on", asked Shatrughan shocked.
Lakshman and Urmila put swords back on the table and looked towards each other.
"Hmm..Nothing bhaiya", Urmila smiled fakely.
"Why are you lieing from me Bhabhi , you can't hide anything from your devar , now tell me , what was going on" , asked Shatrughan with a naughty smile on his face.
Urmila gulped worriedly and looked towards Lakshman.
"Chote Pa , we asked Maa and Pa to show their swordfighting skills to us", said Angad.
"Yes..Yes...Shatrughan , he is right", said Lakshman.
"Yes ,Chote Pa , we asked Pa and Ma" , joined Chandraketu.
"Hmmm...Let's other know about this as well , they will be pleased to hear about this ", Shatrughan said teasingly.
"No...No...don't do this", requested Lakshman.
But it was of no use as Shatrughan was in a mischievous mood , he started shouting calling his Ram bhaiya , Bharat Bhaiya , Mandavi bhabhi , Shruthakirti , Hanuman and mothers.
"OH NO ARYA , WE R GONE NOW FOR SURE " , Urmila gulped worriedly.
Lakshman glared at Shatrughan.
Everyone came there hearing Shatrughan's call.
"What happened Shatrughan , why were you calling us ?", asked Ram worriedly.
"Any problem , shatrughan ?" , asked Bharat.
"Nothing , but a very special and uncommon sight , I have seen today", said Shatrughan winking at Lakshman making him more furious.
"And what was that , Shatrughan ?", asked Mandavi.
"Today , amidst , Mahadev puja preparations , a sight I have seen that has not happened ever before " , said Shatrughan dreaming.
Lakshman glared at his twin and Urmila turned her head down in embarrassment while kids were looking at all of them clueless of what to do next.
Hanuman kept quiet because he knew well what Shatrughan was trying to say .
"Tell us clearly , Shatrughan , what do you want to say ?" requested Ram.
"Ram bhaiya , when I was roaming here in corridors , I saw that Lakshman bhaiya and Urmila bhabhi were doing swordfighting", replied Shatrughan with a naughty smile on his face.
"What !? ", said Shruthkirti .
"Yes , they were doing swordfighting in front of their kids", replied Shatrughan.
Laskhman was glaring at him like never while Urmila was ashamed.
Everyone began smiling teasingly including Ram .
Lakshman frowned seeing Ram and others.
"What happen Lakshman , you were fighting with Urmila and that too with sword ? ", asked Kaikeyi teasingly.
"I think , Bhaiya wished Urmila bhabhi to relive those Mithila days but in a more special manner", said Shatrughan raising his eyebrows and putting his hand on Lakshman.
Urmila blushed while Lakshman glared furiously at Shatrughan.
"Shatrughan , stop irritating my Lakshman ", said Ram giggling himself.
Lakshman had a mix expressions of anger and shame.
Finally Urmila spoke up .
"Ram bhaiya , Angad and Chandraketu pleaded me to show them my swordfighting skills and since no one was present, Arya became my opponent and we began fighting" , said embarrassed Urmila.
"Why are you worried dear , no problem" , said Ram holding her soft chin up.
"Shatrughan , u created such big picture for such a small incident " , said Ram looking towards Shatrughan who was busy looking towards embarrassed Lakshman and Urmila.
Urmila looked for her twins but they both have already ran away from the spot.
"Where these two ran away , Arya ?", asked Urmila to Lakshman.
Lakshman looked around and became embarrassed while everyone started laughing including Ram.
Lakshman got super irked seeing Ram laughing at him too.
"Leave it Lakshman ...You know your twin well naa", said Sumitra bringing sweets.
"Eat this and calm down", said Sumitra holding Lakshman's chin up.
Lakshman too tried to calm himself but Shatrughan was again no less, when Sumitra was going to feed sweets to Lakshman , he eaten it coming by side.
Lakshman became angry now at Shatrughan , he began moving out of palace.
"Arya ?", Urmila shouted.
"Lakshman", shouted Ram.
But Lakshman moved out of palace angrily.
"Shatrughan , what you have done , Lakshman became angry and upset on his special day" , said Ram annoyed.
"Shatrughan !!!" , glared Sumitra .
Everyone glared at him except Hanuman , Urmila and Ram .
Shatrughan unable to do anything asked forgiveness from everyone.
"Forgive me , please", said Shatrughan with guilt.
"You should ask forgiveness from Lakshman , not from us Shatrughan because he is upset ", said Bharat.
"Even I think that i did more than required", said Shatrughan scratching his head .
"Then , what you will do now ?" , asked Kaushalya smiling.
"Let my Lakshman bhaiya come , I will ask forgiveness myself " , said Shatrughan smiling bightly .
Everyone smiled at him .
"Urmila , you go fast , I fear that Lakshman doesn't do anything wrong in anger", said Ram tensedly.
"Don't worry Bhaiya , I'm going to search for Arya" , said Urmila assuring Ram .
Ram smiled and Urmila moved out .
"Arya , Arya , where are you ?", shouted Urmila searching for Lakshman.
"Arya is nowhere to be seem , where is he ?", worried Urmila.
Lakshman was angry on Shatrughan , he was upset too . He was moving without paying attention to anything . He moved towards his favourite river to calm himself .
The beautiful river that is far away from the city. The area around that river gives peace to mind due to beautiful scenery around it.
"I know where he will be right now" , said Urmila and started moving to find Lakshman.
While , Lakshman was moving to the river, he didn't paid attention to the huge stone midway and hurt himself on his foot.
"Ahhh..", groaned Lakshman.
Blood started oozing out of one of his feet , it was paining him a lot.
"Today is not a good day for me ", said Lakshman looking at his feet in pain.
Urmila came the place where Lakshman was , she was shocked to see Lakshman .
Lakshman felt dizzy for a moment but he tried to manage himself.
"Arya", Urmila holded Lakshman.
Lakshman turned around and he saw Urmila who was holding him to give support.
"Mila !!!!", said Lakshman looking at her.
"What is this ?", said Urmila looking at his feet.
"Mila..I hurt myself by mistake", said Lakshman touching his foot.
"Ahhh...", groaned Lakshman in pain.
"You , Sit here", said Urmila making him sit on the stone.
Urmila became worried , she brought some water from the river and washed his feet while Lakshman was looking at her.
She took out some herbal leaves from the plant , smashed it to make a paste of it .
She put it on Lakshman's foot , he holded Urmila's hand tightly in pain.
"See, what you have done to yourself", said Urmila while a tear ran down her cheeks.
"I am Sorry Mila...I didn't notice...But Why are u crying dear ? ", said Lakshman holding her chin up.
"So ..what I will do ...See yourself ... you were groaning in pain ", said Urmila looking at him with tears.
She took out her hankerchief and tied it around Lakshman's cut.
Lakshman wiped her tears and looked at her.
"Your tears hurt me way more than this cut", said Lakshman in tears.
Urmila looked at him sadly.
"Ok...I will not ... but why did you got so angry that you came out of palace", said Urmila frowning.
"Do you have any idea , how much I was worried fo you", said Urmila.
"I don't know Mila...I got angry by the way Shatrughan was irritating me ", Lakshman sighed sadly.
"He is you brother , Arya , if he will not tease you , then who will ", said Urmila holding his hand.
"I know .. but still , me and my em...leave it", saying this Lakshman sighed.
"So You will never change , right ?", said Urmila smiling.
"Nooo", said Lakshman smiling back naughtily.
"Arya !!", said Urmila.
"Mila !!", Lakshman replied.
Urmila giggled.
Urmila remembered something and tears began flowing from her beautiful face again .
"Mila , what happen , why are you crying dear ?" , asked Lakshman worriedly.
"What did you said today to kids , today ?" , asked Urmila crying.
"What Mila ?" , asked Lakshman tensed.
"That I did so much for you that you can't return it back " , said Urmila crying .
"Yes , U did and I will never be able to return wha.." , Lakshman said but Urmila put her hand on his mouth.
"Dare to say that and I will not talk to you ever", said Urmila crying.
"You have given me too much love that I didn't got in 14 long years , you have return more than I needed from you , you have given me so much love that I can't describe in words , you have fullfilled you duties as a Husband , as a brother and a father very well , and if you still think that you will never be able to return what I did for you ...then I will angry with you", said Urmila crying.
"Mila , don't ", tears slipped from Lakshman's eyes too.
"I will ", said Urmila crying.
Lakshman spread his arms and Urmila hugged him tightly , she felt secured and bliss in his Arya's protective arms.
"Love me like this , always" , wished Urmila.
"Always , dear" , Lakshman said looking at her lovingly.
Lakshman closed his eyes and enjoyed the moment.
After some time , Urmila goes to deep sleep and Lakshman looked at her lovingly.
He removed strands of hair that were coming on her beautiful , glowing face and then he stared at her.
"My beautiful and my dear Mila who loves me so much" , smiled Lakshman as he puts a loving kiss on her forehead.
" I wish to God that he fullfil your each and every wish", said Lakshman.
He too slept after sometime with Urmila in his arms .
It was evening , Urmila woke up and saw Lakshman sleeping .
"Oh god , it's too late , I have to take him fast back to palace , everyone must be worried for us", thought Urmila as she looked at Lakshman sleeping peacefully holding her.
Urmila carefully free herself from his arms and looked at him.
"Arya " , said Urmila shaking Lakshman.
"Wake up, it's evening" , she continued.
Lakshman woke up hearing her call and looked around .
"It's evening , we should go for palace now" , Lakshman said looking at her .
"Hmm...let's move" , replied Urmila .
Lakshman got up but got a sudden jerk in his foot , he screamed "Mila" in pain.
"Arya !!", she holded him .
"Don't worry , it will pain for sometime , but I'm with you" , said Urmila reassuring Lakshman .
She took Lakshman's hand on her shoulder and began moving.
"Thanks a lot , Mila" , said Lakshman smiling.
"There is no need to thank me , I can do anything for you ", said Urmila blushing.
Lakshman smiled brightly and they both moved towards palace.
