Hello Friends,

We are here with the 4th round of J VS J. 😃

Briefing on how this will go on:

- Each round 4 members will debate on one topic.
- We wil have weekly winner among the 4 Judges.
- By the time we end 7 rounds, the Judge who wins most weekly rounds will be the season winner for J VS J 👏

Few rules:
  • No personal attacks.
  • No attacking the Judges/Hosts/Contestants
  • ONLY THE 4 DEBATERS CAN COMMENT ON THE TOPIC!!
  • Rest of the members can ROOT for the person who you want to win the debate but you cannot join in the debate.
This week's debaters are:

Anu's team - raunaq

Alisha's group - shahrukh fan

Javed's group - the_charm

Udit's group - chief saab

TOPIC IS:
Is it better to criticize contestants so they do better, or is it better to encourage them so they do better.

Start now, and enjoy debating.! 👏

Love,
II Dev Team

First of all great topic👏
Now my view:
I feel they need encouragement to do better. They need to know that they could do better. If they get discouraged they would do even worser.
But yes they should be told their weak points so that they could emphasise on it...telling is something different and criticizing is different. It should not be done the way Anu and Anisha taunt the contestants.

P.S: Sorry if i hurt anyone's feeling..its coz we have to debate😊

ok this is my first debate ever!!!!!!

ok am on alisha's team: 😃

i personally think if no pain no gain.....if you will not get critisized you will not have the spirit to fight the critics and prove them wrong.....look at amit sane from II1 he used to get told of by Farah about his performance every time when he performed some time she used to encourage him and sometime she used to shout at him BUT look where that got him everyone loved his few dance steps he did on the show....so to some extent i do agree with critics.....

no pain no gain, alisha ne yeh jo kaha hai woh bilkul theek kaha hai. for contestants, criticism is very important. therefore, i am all for being critical. it poses a challenge for the contestants to do well and the mistakes pointed out by criticism can sink into their head more efficiently so that they can display better results. as a guru or a judge, being critical can bring out effective results.
