He is a gifted singer. In fact, he is a complete singer because, despite him being a South India, he can sing Punjabi songs well. He is one of the real 'finds' of this contest. But the situation now is such that he knows he has an edge over other contestants. I fear, if that should make him complacent. Another shortcoming is that he is not good at singing low octave. If one has noticed, he mostly sings high-pitch songs. That is something he should work at and he should also concentrate on romantic songs.

Anuj Sharma
He is a good singer. I can not call him outstanding but he is not bad either. In terms of his personality, he has nice boyish looks and a voice to match. So far, he has played lucky. He rode on his luck, now he needs to ride on his talent, and work on his sur (notes). It goes haywire. Then there is no stopping him. I had nothing personal against him when I expressed my annoyance at Ameya Date being voted out. Ameya Date truly was an able contender.

Sandeep Acharya
He has a good screen persona and has so far sung well. I find him very happening. But he too must concentrate on his sur.

God I thought I will never post in this forum but finally came here.So someone posted one liner and then this discussion started.Well subjest says Amey is overrated by forum ? so what ? I mean jo hai wo hai...ani mam wo aapka song hai na Hum to bhai jaise the 😊 .. we all know Amey's rating and if u ask me I still think he is under rated.So u wanna me open one thread with one liner saying amey is under rated ? Guys comeone everyone has their opinion but discuss it properly , debate on it ..just saying something u feel doesnt help.Anyway why to write so much in one liner thread?My one liner reply is
Amey is Under rated on IF

ya mans i agree,i don't understand what is the concept of this rating thing.I mean how do u overrate or under rate,compared to what.In singing or anyother art can u fix a point so that u can rate the singers over it or under it.If i had to say,i would say that amey is an excellent singer and was a perfect II material.

You topic is of a very poor taste here. I love both AMEY & KARU. They both are talented, versatile singers and above all They both are VERY PROUD TO BE INDIAN. They both love each other so much, KARU calls AMey as bhaiya.

KARU always respects AMEY FOr wat he is, and same can be said about AMey.

Both got their own strenghts & weaknesses. We can never compare both these guys, becose they both got their own unique style. I am sure they both will be very successful in the music world as we all need to hear them for long long time.

So my dear PROUD INDIAN, its of no use comming up with such topics.

I totally agree both Amey and Krunya are good singers. But the fact is that they both were competing for the title Indian Idol. Please understand that this is a competition and there is no harm in comparison amongst them as they were the competitors (they may be very good friends personally).

yes, there is nothing wrong with comparison n criticism. But it shd all be constructive. If u think amey is over-rated...then justify ur point with some kind of evidence atleast. When n where was he over-rated? 😕 😕 😕

U claimed tht amey was over-rated, n karunya was better we rebuttled ur arguement and successfully so! 😛 😛

Yeah... me too agree with constructive criticism and comparison.... after all it is a competition...

And Pragya... nobody dragged Karunya in this... he was already there when the topic was started.. When topic says that Karunya is better than Amey.... people will obviously try to defend their favorite and criticize other... I being an Amey Fan don't mind it as long as the criticism is constructive..... and i don't think anybody dragged Karu Fans in it... We know that most of Karu Fans are Amey Fans as well and vice-versa
