He is a gifted singer. In fact, he is a complete singer because, despite him being a South India, he can sing Punjabi songs well. He is one of the real 'finds' of this contest. But the situation now is such that he knows he has an edge over other contestants. I fear, if that should make him complacent. Another shortcoming is that he is not good at singing low octave. If one has noticed, he mostly sings high-pitch songs. That is something he should work at and he should also concentrate on romantic songs.

He is a good singer. I can not call him outstanding but he is not bad either. In terms of his personality, he has nice boyish looks and a voice to match. So far, he has played lucky. He rode on his luck, now he needs to ride on his talent, and work on his sur (notes). It goes haywire. Then there is no stopping him. I had nothing personal against him when I expressed my annoyance at Ameya Date being voted out. Ameya Date truly was an able contender.

Sandeep Acharya
He has a good screen persona and has so far sung well. I find him very happening. But he too must concentrate on his sur.

yeah but anu malikk has said this abt karu and the other 2 becz hes in top2, the very fact tht he has ana;yzed his singing shows how much he likes it and has though abt it.

im sorry to say if ur comparing these statement with amey's singing abilities, then u shud have an analysisd made by anu malik for amey to do it, which he hasnt, sooooo

My 2 cents...Karunya and Amey were the only 2 singers on the show who could be bracketed together in the top category...they are both amazing singers with their own strenghts and weaknesses...Karu does what is called power singing...while none of the contestants could have bettered Amey's ability to sing softer, romantic numbers...
Amey was more brave in choosing a variety of songs while Karu chose to play safe most of the times...but he was successful in showing his versatility while playing on his strengths...

Amey has more of personality...nice soft boyish looks..
Karu on the other hand is an excellent performer and can dance a bit as well...

As this contest goes on the singers gain more experience and discover their strenghts and learn to hide their weaknesses

A final where these 2 battled it out would have been like a dream come true for me... it would have been great to see 2 very talented and rather intelligent singers entertain us while they tried their hands at winning the crown....
too bad it wasn't to be...!

You topic is of a very poor taste here. I love both AMEY & KARU. They both are talented, versatile singers and above all They both are VERY PROUD TO BE INDIAN. They both love each other so much, KARU calls AMey as bhaiya.

KARU always respects AMEY FOr wat he is, and same can be said about AMey.

Both got their own strenghts & weaknesses. We can never compare both these guys, becose they both got their own unique style. I am sure they both will be very successful in the music world as we all need to hear them for long long time.

So my dear PROUD INDIAN, its of no use comming up with such topics.

i totally agree with u giggles. Karu and amey both have their strengths n weaknesses. If Karu is good at one thing then amey is good at another. As a music lvoers, It's a real pity we couldnt see them battle it out for the title.
