Don't you think Amey is overrated - Page 5

First, I'm not instigated by what this author said. Please read my reply on the 2nd page. My point was that the topic starter intended to compare the two contestants. Anyway, people are simply comparing the two in this post and defending their personal favorite, not retaliating. I don't see any harm in that, this is a competition after all. 😊

Well, everyone has different thoughts, we cant talk the same .. its ur view.. so thts fine on ur spot..

but i wud not compare amey with another contendor from II, amey compared to a well established singer is fine.. but comparing with another competitor is not even worth.. they all are good singers, who have come to II stage to fulufill there dreams, they all are at same level its just luck or unluck that they are voted in or voted out...

I think,no I am sure sandeep is the next indian idol.we in this forum have found our idols.if janata,from madurai,ambala,gauwhati,surat thinks diiferently it is ok!!show is coming to an end.lot of members will stay back and remain friends.i have already seen so many fans visiting other fan clubs.IN FG shamit and arijit club members are great friends....I did get into a massive fight,just once. for antara..(couldnt bear the adjectives used for her,kaliya, stinky,beggar etc...)
I am a wanderer from one music talent show to another..i have been hrishiskeh(srgmp) fan for years..I just need a hook and am drawn.so off to srgmp section after finals..after that FG2(1great singer is enough).american idol too is on..dont like country music..but paris is safe..

Amey and over-rated are u kidding me!!! Did u see the kind of resposne he got from the judges for laga chunri. He deserved a standing ovation for tht song but all he got was 'behtareen gayaa'. He sang 'tum jo mil gaye ho' so beautifully but no one truly appreciated that song---not even the amey fans as a matter of fact.

Speakign of the comparison b/w amey n karunya, then all I'll say is tht every singer has his or her strengths. If karu can sing high-pitched sogns well, then amey can pull off low-piched ones (lik tum jo and juda hoke bhi). And btw, amey is no duffer with high-pitched songs, coz he pulled off 'tadap tadap' and 'tu hi re' with aplomb.

As for the breath control, then tht is such a minor issue!!! I could hear udit narayan's breaths in aye ajnabi, but when hemu sang tht song, I didnt hear his breaths. So does tht make hemu better than udit? 😕 😕 😕 And btw, rafi songs lik 'tum jo' and 'parda hai' are two of the toughest songs in terms of breath control, and amey sang these songs.

yeah you're right... it's so tragic na...but I guess it's all a game of nasseb...and I think Janta's nasseb is kharaab that they let go of a diamond and not Amey's... just imagine what the level of this competition would 've been if Amey was still in... (sigh)... I can still hear the echo of the song Amey jokingly sang in his last RC interview.... it went something like this "apni to aisi waisay kut jaigi....aap ka kiya ho ga jinab e aali aap ka kiya ho ga ...." ... so ironic na...

And yes, some1 mentioned tht karunya is technically better. SO WHAT? Hariharan is technically better than Sonu. Chitra is technically better than Sunidhi. But at the end of the day, all of these signers r popular in their own way. If karunya's strength is technicalities, Amey's is his abundance of x-factor and charisma.

I think Karunya is always overrated by the judges!!!!Not AMEY!! Yah...karunya is a good singer but AMEY is the BESTEST!!! 😳
